There’s only so far you can drag yourself backwards before you decide it’s time to proceed in the direction you want. You’ve struggled with a tendency to attempt serving two masters: one being yourself, and the other being some past influence that is allegedly dictating who you should be and why you should be that way. Though it seems like ‘the stronger voice will win’, in truth the voice you give the most energy to will win. As long as you try to divide your loyalty, you will divide your character and feel paralyzed. I suggest you focus on listening with precision to the voice you want to hear, and making that decision on the basis of how you feel. How will you know that you’re hearing a past voice? Simple: a familiar sense of frustration. And a more loving voice? Simple: a sense of your potential opening up.

You are subject to being challenged, and that does not mean you are wrong. You would, though, be in a far stronger position if you challenged yourself, and decided there may indeed be new solutions to certain problems that you had not considered possible, much less likely. I recommend this highly if you are interested in taking a leadership role, or maintaining your leadership role. This is a fine time to admit that certain things about the past need to be adjusted, and declare it a good time to turn a corner. Almost inevitably, this will lead to much better circumstances.

You may think you use up all your good luck staying out of serious trouble. It’s true, you allocate some of it to that worthy purpose; the world is full of little and large traps that eat time, money and gumption. At the moment, you’re in a rather special bubble of time wherein you make all your own luck. You do this, mainly, by having faith in something larger than the day-to-day wheeling and dealing of the world. While this perspective usually is right on the top tray of your paintbox, at the moment it’s right in your hand all the time. Belief sets the limits on what you can do and how far you can go with it. You can afford to be generous with yourself.

If you are not in a partnership now, there may be one looking for you. Should you already be navigating through an existence of co-mingled assets and mutual aspirations, you might soon need to adjust your style of participation so things work better for everybody involved. Either way, it would be a good idea to go back to basics and be fully aware of what you are either getting into, or working with. Here’s a primer: partnerships are neither independence nor dependence, at least ideally. Rather, there are elements of both. Two heads are better than one, unless those heads are butting. Labors shared are also less burdensome, so long as they are shared fairly. Communicating your values and keeping your balance are the crucial skills either to acquire or to enhance. — by Len Wallick

It’s necessary to take your relationships seriously, but what exactly does that mean? First, it means having the right people in your life, and making sure that people who don’t belong in your life are not there. Perhaps this sounds harsh, but Saturn in your opposite sign has been encouraging you to use your discernment for at least a year — and to act on what you observe. People who crowd your space, or who box you in to their idea of you, are not helpful. You need room to maneuver, and you need the freedom to make up your mind about who you are; this, your relationship partners must know and respect. Speaking affirmatively, the most significant qualification for anyone being in your life must be that you share similar spiritual goals. Now we’re getting deep: for that to happen, you need to have spiritual goals, as well as to understand them somewhat. Then you would need to select others who also have spiritual goals, and find a meeting space. All sex and intimacy lead to procreation, which means a lot more than making babies: there is an exchange, karma is created, and people become like one another. Therefore, choose carefully whom you relate to. Embrace people you respect and admire. This is a high standard, but no other will work for you.

In astrology, the 12th house is the one that is usually said to correspond with yours, the 12th sign. This is the most mysterious house, which is about all things invisible, and not available to the normal senses. How have your dreams been? Have you noticed that you’re doing some kind of deep working out? Have you noticed that the air feels a little cleaner, like in the morning after it’s rained all night? Last week’s eclipse took place in your 12th house, which was like a psychic purge. Periodically, this house needs the pressure equalized with the rest of your life, your mind and your chart, and that’s what happens when there’s an eclipse in this area of your chart. Notice your new clarity, feel it, and pay attention to what you notice. Make sure you do that Pisces thing and keep your point of view moving rather than fixed. One benefit to this event was that it’s helping set you free from thought-forms that had grown too rigid. Look at everything and everyone, including yourself, from as many angles as you can.

This is the test of whether you can act from inside your power, or will you once again stand outside of it, with it right there next to you. The chances are pretty good that you’re going to move from your deepest core, however. I say that because to the same extent that you are now being compelled to take a particular action in the outer world, you are being called to a whole new region inside yourself that is so compelling as to be completely beyond your capacity to resist. You are very fortunate to have this balance right now, because it’s really the essence of living well. By that, I mean living in such a way that who you are inside finds an expression in your actions, and that what you do supports and gives structure to who you are inside. I can tell you this: the current moment of your development is likely to be a far more significant one than you’ve given it credit for.
