Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn monthly for March 2011.

What an unusual space you’re in — like you are riding on a horse made of lightning, at the same time the capacity for absolute focus has taken hold of your mind. You have more energy available and you’re able to do something with it. Yet in this space it’s essential to send yourself positive messages. The most significant will be to affirm your intelligence and the relevance of your perceptions. You may be depending on those faculties now more than you have any time recently, and you may think that there are many other ‘better minds’ who could do what you do better. Any such thought is merely a self-esteem trap. The thing to remember about your mind is that it works differently, intuitively and creatively. This is true whether you think of yourself as ‘creative’ or ‘intuitive’. When you feel the difference between you and others, specifically in terms of thought patterns, that is the most meaningful difference. You’re also able to perceive a larger world with more colors and nuances, and those around you who cannot perceive those things can lead you to doubt yourself. So, you could say that the question of this era in your life, and the central growth (or healing) focus (as you choose) is: what’s it going to take for you to trust your senses and the mind behind them? The answer that comes to mind is experience, yet the truth is, you already have plenty of that.

There is much you want to say and do, but something tells me you’re experiencing more obstacles than opportunities. The frustrating part about this is that you have plenty of ideas, and there is energy moving; all the signals are telling you to make your mark. In about a week, an eclipse of the Sun will release some of this pressure. Until then, it’s vital that you not push, not seek or make firm commitments, and in particular that you not try to fix anything that isn’t broken. Most of what you’re experiencing involves circumstances rather than systemic issues, though if you study those circumstances you will be able to identify one or two wider problems that you would be wise to work on, though only after the eclipse and the concurrent station direct of Mercury — no matter how tempting it may be to meddle now.

Your continued emphasis on a long-term goal is about to get an unexpected result. Of course, the results we want and benefit from most are rarely the ones we actually work toward or plan for. This is particularly gratifying where some aspect of social justice is concerned. What occurs next and indeed over the next few weeks may seem premature or at least like developments are arriving before they are fully ready. What you’re experiencing is, however, at once a breakthrough and a setup for the more impressive results that will take shape over the next couple of months.

Beware of any situation in which you end up in the role of pursuer. It’s a game of chase you are unlikely to win. It would seem that what you really want is for someone to chase you, but on a deeper level, what you want is for someone to understand you. The problem here is that attempts to explain yourself may really be attempts to pursue and/or be pursued. When Mercury stations retrograde in a few days, your priorities will become clearer, and you will understand something about how you engage in relationships that you could never quite put your finger on before.

Focus on a specific need. Keep it in mind. You probably know what I’m talking about. It’s okay if it’s your specific need; just know exactly what it is and make sure that the people close to you know as well. Right now your intentions and in fact your whole sense of presence in the world are being magnified through a network of light that wants only to support you. Therefore all you need to do is be aware of your mission or intention and be open to having the solution handed right to you. If you can manage to relax into this whole process it’ll be easier and a lot more fun.

This is about the best quality you have, and it’s yours to grow with, not grow out of.
