Venus is now retrograde, which shifts the emotional momentum of our moment in one gesture. The retrograde lasts through April 15. And at the same time the Moon is heading into full phase; the Virgo Full Moon happens March 12, a week from now, but this one is going to gather energy and go off like a clap of thunder.

Well, it’s been an exciting weekend, hasn’t it?

Venus is now retrograde, which shifts the emotional momentum of our moment in one gesture. The retrograde lasts through April 15. And at the same time the Moon is heading into full phase; the Virgo Full Moon happens March 12, a week from now, but this one is going to gather energy and go off like a clap of thunder.

Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon as Jeff Sessions, on this week’s Saturday Night Live, in a Forrest Gump parody.

In case you weren’t following The New York Times or cable news this weekend, I was there watching it for you (in between planning my new class, on Karma, Reincarnation and Astrology).

As Venus stationed retrograde (literally within an hour), POTUS was awake at 3 am tweeting up a storm about how Pres. Obama allegedly ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower. He offered no evidence, though given all the Russia business, it’s presumable that the CIA (not Obama) wanted to keep an eye on him. The remarkable thing is how closely connected the tweeting was to the station-retrograde.

He was also tweeting about Arnold Schwarzenegger and the ratings of Celebrity Apprentice, leading some to wonder if he needs a brain scan, or whether we’re all unwittingly caught up in an episode of Reality White House.

On Saturday Night Live, Kate McKinnon did an Emmy-ready impression of Attorney General Jeff Sessions waiting at a bus stop, conversing with his neighbors.

Then on Sunday, Trump’s old friend James Comey, the director of the FBI who helped get him elected, said no way, no how — there was no wiretapping — setting off yet another open war in the federal government. By my count there are about 14 of those going on right now, and I’ll have more to say on Tuesday night’s edition of Planet Waves FM.

Between now and then, it’s going to be an interesting few days of news; we’ll be watching and will have a summary for you on FM in case you want to think about other things. Just don’t forget to make America great again.

How did Venus retrograde manifest in your life? What shifted its course or direction over the weekend? What revelations did you have, or what did you get clear about?

Retrogrades can take a few days to settle in. I covered the main themes of Venus retrograde in Thursday night’s weekly edition of Planet Waves.

There’s a meta-theme to this retrograde that I have not mentioned so far: and that is prioritization. What is important to you? What do you keep saying that you want to do, or to accomplish? Get your list out, and get your eraser out, and start making corrections.

This week’s horoscope is the first of six that will cover Venus retrograde. If you missed Planet Waves TV, it’s a good way to get the flavor of the retrograde in a short video.

Thanks for tuning in, and I’ll catch you Tuesday evening.
