It would appear that a productive breakthrough has arrived following an intense phase in your personal relationships. The goal of human involvement, often forgotten, more often neglected, is to make life better for everyone. Yet we can’t forget or neglect that quality and still have it be true. Typically, you’re the person to be reminding others of this fact, and doing a little more than your part to maintain a healthy environment. For the next few weeks, I suggest you trust you’ve set a good enough example that others will pick up on it and take the lead. They have something to offer — they just need to figure it out.

Before you can stop making a mistake you have to notice what you’re doing. Of course this also works for making choices — you must see your options. Your perception of a mistake, a pattern of them, or for that matter any creative choices you have, depends on your state of mind. Beware of a tendency to believe that some past action is going to come back to you. The false logic goes, ‘I’ve been a bad person, therefore I deserve to be feeling all this fear’. If you’re experiencing any permutation of this idea, figure out where, or from whom, it came. I don’t think it’s your original thought; it’s a psychic pathogen that was passed onto you down the generations, or that you picked up in your environment. In these times, we must keep an eye on such factors, as a primary fact of both healing and happiness. Our society is struggling with boundary issues, and right now most of them are psychic. Your planets are calling on you to do two things: recognize the toxicity of guilt, and let it go. The other is to walk a straight and narrow path that calls for keeping your priorities in balance. This directly means assessing everything on the basis of what hurts or helps you. If you can do that, you will also be acting in the best interests of the people around you.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn weekly for March 9, 2008.

The planets and your own instincts are calling on you to experiment with something, and I think that the experiment involves exploring what you feel. An experiment involves experience, not merely thought or planning, things from which we can usually turn back. You may be concerned that once you dare, you will not want to stop. This is a feeling I suggest you embrace — the loss of control where pleasure is concerned. You are a Capricorn, which is to say that at a certain point, the parachute of responsibility guides you back down to Earth gently no matter where you may have been flying. Therefore, I don’t suggest you worry about losing control and instead, if you’re going to bother yourself with anything, understand why you are so obsessed with self-control in the first place. It is starving you. In your release, nourishment awaits you.

There’s only so much you want to be influenced by the opinions of others, particularly where a business or creative project is involved. Yet there’s only so much you want to filter out. It’s the oddball, unusual people who will give you the best information and provide the keenest insights — those whose opinions you might ordinarily dismiss. As the old saying goes, God watches over drunks, fools and little children, and those are the people to listen to the most carefully.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aries weekly for March 4, 2011.

You may have some wild dreams, and most of them are possible. Yet as you activate your potential you’re also likely to activate your fear. Here is something to consider: Fear showing up in the same approximate gesture as desire is one of the main excuses for people to deny what they want and to stuff down their potential. You’re in an extended phase when nearly all of your potential becomes available. At the same time you’re going to encounter your shadow material. You will make use of your potential by consciously processing your fear, guilt and denial. At the moment things may arise in a mixture that is challenging to sort, though the main character traits you will depend on are willingness and faith. When you’re wondering which is true, your potential or your fear, ask yourself: which do I want to be true?

Let the Sun shine in, in every sense of the word. Welcome and receive day and light in every form. If it would cause no danger or damage, try keeping window shades open until sunset. Provided it would do you no harm, keep your sunglasses in their case more often. Smile, to improve the chances of being smiled at. Most of all, be open to both consciously perceiving and gratefully receiving all that even your most trying relationships have to offer. Each being in your life, from the most loved to the most challenging, is part of a whole that makes you greater just by their being there. Today’s Oracle takes us to the Pisces weekly for August 11, 2006.

Keep your focus, despite the overwhelming energy currently whirling through the cosmos. Go at a steady pace and make sure you take care of any necessary arrangements. Keep all discussions focused on progress in the clear light of day. Speaking in astrological terms, there is an extraordinary amount of Neptune in the cosmic atmosphere right now, and that can represent fear and uncertainty. But you’re the one who is made of the stuff, so you can certainly navigate these waters like an expert. The more you have faith in your idea, the more you need to stay in contact with loved ones and close partners. The same ones who had faith in you all along will be very helpful now.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Pisces monthly for August 1, 2005.

Who can fathom the depths of a Pisces? If anyone can, it is you. But I will reveal a few things from beneath the current Pisces psyche, in part, because as a Fish, I can. At this point, effort and pleasure must be balanced. The natural emphasis is going to be on effort, and there is no Pisces alive who does not feel that they owe a debt to existence. Therefore, there must be a sense that life offers its rewards back, and a flow must be maintained. To the extent that a young Pisces falters in keeping up that flow, you need to maintain it. And please be mindful of their sense of burden. Take what you can, and remember to leave them with the responsibilities they need to feel alive.
