It may seem that you have had to push yourself through nearly impossible territory, and it’s all the less appealing considering how many times you’ve been through this same mental space and emotional material. In the end, the effort will pay off; for now, it’s like you’re running a 50 mile training course for what will turn out to be a five mile race. Yet in becoming free from the deepest patterns of one’s family, one can never be too strong. Eventually you will find your equilibrium, particularly when Venus changes signs on the 7th of August after what feels like endless months in Gemini. Then, you’ll be resting from a place of strength rather than retreat.

They all involve contact with others, and what is different about the next few days is the quality of the energy, and the extent to which it can awaken you to a new aspect of yourself and your desire for life. As regards business, be open to new ideas that involve groups, teams or shared finances and resources. As for pleasure, stick to that one person who has been a dependable source for a long time — and if you don’t have someone like that in your life, reach out to one who you want or need most.

Extraordinarily promising events may seem to be failing to work out as planned. Or they may seem to be running their course too soon for your pleasure. Yet a deeper cosmic enterprise is at work; the stars have an agenda for you, and you cannot judge it from the outside. You simply must have faith, and do everything in your power to avoid the battles of words or unnecessary conflicts that only waste your energy. Words do, however, have their use. If you can put your energy into learning how to get along with women, for which words are extremely useful, you will cultivate a life skill that you’ll benefit from for the rest of your days. You may have tried and failed many times; you may have given up. Don’t blame your sisters. Don’t blame yourself. Just get it. Women are worth the effort.

There may be no need to resist the impulse to search for bits and pieces of yourself in other people, but it would be a great idea not to believe they have something that you don’t. Or more accurately, there is a compatibility of needs between you and them that you’re not quite seeing. Now, sometimes we can see our blind spots by looking around them, and other times by looking straight into them. This is straight-in country. Straight in means communication, that highly unusual two-way process of speaking and listening, but also of taking in and changing your mind. But there are two perspectives to gather, and share. There is, for one, the story you want to hear. And there is, for another, the story you don’t want to hear. The first is important. The second is more important. In all cases, please take notes.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Pisces daily for March 20, 2006

This may be a sensitive time in your relationships, but at least you have some to work with. Others may be working their stuff out on you, but it’s just as true that they’re working out their feelings for you and with you. I suggest you give anyone who fits this description plenty of space and time to reach a point of equilibrium, and see if you can practise the skill of not taking any of it personally. That may be challenging, since it’s all so personal. I’m not suggesting you be detached; just hang loose, and watch what develops.

Be mindful of what you resolved in this process that you did not know you were resolving. Much of it involves what you do in the face of missing information. As the secrets are finally revealed over the coming days and weeks, and, perhaps, as that long-awaited news catches up with you, please consider carefully what your expectations were, and reflect on why they were so much lower than what actually came to pass.
