The time has come to push the boundaries of purity. You’re under several influences urging you to play an extremely clean game, and to express yourself in only the most refined ways. It’s like you feel you owe it to the world to be nothing but a perfectly efficient blue flame. There are advantages to this, true. But at the moment, you may need to be something else, or to take that focused ray of fire and set that torch wherever you feel it needs to go. Remember, this is not something you owe anyone. The only debt you have is to yourself, and it’s just about paid off. Right about now, your life starts to be about reaping the profits of existence, and making choices that remind you how authentic you are. This is to say, forget purity and do what you want.

Can you really make plans for another person? Can you really gamble your security on their choices? It’s rather unlike you to do such a thing, particularly since so much of your stability comes from knowing that, above all else, you can count on yourself. If you find yourself making plans for another person, I suggest you pause and ask yourself what you’re doing. If you have the occasion, ask the most important people in your life to share their plans with you. Keep the discussion honest, open and above the table.

Success is an ongoing experiment — not a destination. Remember that this week, as the experiment proceeds in some interesting directions. To facilitate this, I suggest you stay vocal and visible. Announce your existence to anyone you want to make contact with, particularly people you look up to or admire. I suggest that the transition be a respectful approach to a colleague or potential collaborator rather than ‘fan mail’. Investigate organizations that you might want to be involved with — merely on the basis of the affinity that you share with them. If you look, you will see people, or networks of people, with whom you want to share your energy. None of this may get immediate results (but then it could very well). The one key is approaching from a place of openness and curiosity rather than attachment to an outcome; you’re in an environment of ‘expect the unexpected’, which actually means that the likeliest outcomes are not on your list. This one fact is good for at least half the fun.

A little less would be a good thing, and you’ll be getting what you need soon enough. Before the memory of the past 12 months blends into the landscape of history, it would be wise to write yourself a letter documenting what you’ve truly gained since one birthday ago, and tuck it away with any photographs you’ve collected of this time. This way, you’ll remember just when it was that your world began to turn around, and when you decided you had actual reasons for optimism rather than mere hopes. If you can keep two or three of the commitments you’ve made to yourself, your inner wealth, and worldly wealth, will continue to grow. But I leave you with one parting gift from the Jupiter in Cancer era, or perhaps the first from the Leo era. Pay attention to what you want, and when you learn who or what turns you on the very most, make your desire known without equivocation.

Once again you may be feeling the pull to do something daring, but you can be sure that whatever you do this weekend you will change profoundly as a result of it. The astrology is worth considering; we have yet another alignment with the Galactic Core developing in one of the most dynamic houses of your solar chart. This time, it’s the Sun and Mercury making an exact conjunction there, and then both go over Pluto and Jupiter. I think that the message will be that you have a lot to accomplish on this Earth, and now is the time to get busy. You understand better than most people that delays are an essential part of living along the strand of time. You understand that being alive gives you many responsibilities to fulfill. And you understand better than anyone that there is more to life than this.

Cancer is the sign of caring and compassion and now is the time to become much more assertive about this subject where your own life is concerned. The past few weeks have been an exceptionally busy and perhaps complicated time for you. Everything has arrived in the form of obligation or structured activity. Now is the time to focus on your own needs a commitment which will bring you significant rewards. You not only must do it; you actually can.
