Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra monthly for June 2013.

Though this is not necessarily the easiest time for Libras, it’s certainly a meaningful one, and you’re likely to experience a series of breakthroughs on some of your longest-delayed projects or goals. As these happen, leave room to re-evaluate your goals. Question why you have a goal, not just what it is. When you get to the level of your motives, you could shift your point of view with one thought. What’s changed in recent years is that the appearance of doing something, or being known for it, has less importance than ever. That’s a big help, an authentic step on the way to sincerity. Go deeper into who you are and what your real purpose is. Many encounters you have with others are provoking you to do just this: to assert yourself, sometimes in the face of what blatantly contradicts your ideas. What you may discover as you do this is that everyone has something to teach you, or some gift for you, even if the transaction seemed confrontational. Keep your sense of humor, and you will spend your days collecting useful ideas like a bee collects pollen and in the process feeds the world. As you rise in your success — and make no mistake, your star is rising, despite any dubious quests and struggles you’ve been through, or what any other astrologer claims — have fun discovering how much you don’t know, and therefore, how much you have to learn. This is a core element of leadership.

Choosing how you deal with emotional adversity will present you with numerous opportunities for growth over the next week or two. This is rather contrary to the past few weeks which have seen a focus on professional and mental matters. They work differently; we forget. What I suggest you do at this point is pay attention to the strategies and methods that work and remember what they are when you find yourself involved in methods that don’t work. The difference will be akin to that between walking into a door and walking through a door. But people forget, and you are a people.

Just remember you’re the boss. It is true that you may live with other people and getting your way in any community is always a matter of politics. But yours is the way that must be had so put your excellent negotiating skills to work; take some initiative and make sure that things work out the way that you both need and want. The point is you’re not going to be taking any nonsense anyway so rather than slug it out you might as well get things started on the right foot.

Ideas, revelations, solutions and numerous projects are flying circles around your head like jetliners around LAX. I suggest you let them land one at a time. No matter what you feel, you can’t actually do more than one thing at once. But you can do one thing at a time extremely effectively, and you can do it with a level of mastery quite beyond your years or experience. In fact the current moment is an opportunity to do some of the best work of your life. So keep burning the midnight oil.

Mars is lighting a fire underneath you and looks like it’s challenging you to get free of your emotional comfort zones or discomfort zones — whichever the case may be. In any event, be aware of the fear that might hold you back from fully expressing yourself or from taking advantage of the fact that you carry immense protection right now, as well as charm, charisma and a sense of potential. The only thing that could stop you is being afraid or wanting to exert control over what does not need to be controlled. Part of the scenario involves what happened to certain relatives if they started to feel ‘too good’ or as if life was going ‘too well’. This is an old story that you’ve wanted to end for a while, and you can now write its last chapter.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Taurus monthly for August 2000.

When Saturn entered Taurus in 1998, I had a lot to say on the theme of values, which in my view is the most meaningful keynote of that sign. Most of the time, values exist on an unconscious level: the deep motivations and intentions that drive us to do, desire, love and despise. I have noticed that people often draw a blank when I bring up the concept, as if it’s all so down-in-the-basement that hardly anyone has even gotten a grasp on it, much less mulled it over. But experience is the best teacher, and though you may have not ascribed the word to your recent quests and challenges, I suggest that you do; for on one level, values are all that has really changed. Have you not come to terms with who you are in some very important ways? Have you not gotten a firmer grasp on the meaning of your existence, and come to terms with who you are, and who you must become? The work is not over, but you’ve done very well, and the path ahead will be much easier.

The ongoing lesson is meeting the world on equal terms, and this has long seemed to be a project involving one-on-one partnership. But if you think of your experience of relationship more in terms of siblings, you’ll be able to trick yourself into understanding what equality is about — in a sense, it’s about more than one person living harmoniously in similar circumstances. The more you can see what your life has in common with those of the people around you, no matter how daunting they may (still) seem, and no matter how challenged to reconcile with yourself you may (still) feel, the more our fundamental equality will make sense. And it needs to make sense, and needs to be within reach, and you must feel somewhere inside that you’re not far from your destination, right now. Because you’re not.
