Pay attention to your anxiety. Listen to it, and understand what it’s saying about you and your circumstances. Your fears may be running away with you at times; at least I suggest you notice when this is happening. Many people do not; or rather, are not mindful enough to know that fear is the issue, rather than the thing they are supposedly afraid of. It would be immensely helpful if you were to sort this one out, since if there is any issue it is fear and not the thing feared. Your current astrology is carrying some potent manifestation power, so I suggest you turn your energy toward something creative. Psychic energy is inherently neutral and can be turned to something loving or something toxic by choice. Though this is often forgotten, now would be the time to remember. Remembering means making the choice to focus the power of your mind in the direction you want to go, or what you want to become. Above all else, be truthful with yourself.

Make no assumptions now. Peg everything you believe to verifiable reality. Collect actual evidence, not wishes or scant guesses. More specifically, the depth of work you have been doing in relationship may be yielding some results, but I know you are not seeing all the necessary connections, and that you are not taking the benefits of all that you have so recently learned. Under normal circumstances, you would have a few years to mull it over, but at this particular moment in history, it’s more like thirty or forty days tops, or perhaps even as many hours. Here’s a clue. You are unlikely to be working with the awareness of the extent to which your mistaken beliefs and fears were intentionally given to you to ‘guarantee’ your existence as a non-threatening entity to the secretive and paranoid freaks involved in your upbringing. But get it clear. You are a walking engine of progress, and they could not stop it then, and cannot stop it now. Progress indeed threatens the cowering masses, but change is at hand, and you are Special Agent of Change Number One. Keep laughing, and may the Devil be damned.

This may not be the year you make your big career breakthrough. But at the very least, it will be the year you get ready, in terms of figuring out what you want, and then taking the additional step of wanting it with every cell in your body. You will, if you choose, gather your strength, determination and resolve, and begin to feel the undeniable onrush of the future coming at you. While the planets clearly reveal that you will work for everything you earn, and that feeling good will be the result of discipline and not luck or accident, there is no shortage of adventure or opportunity. Indeed, what the experts are calling 2007 promises to offer an authentic balance of labor and rewards for your labor; of grounded, serious thinking, and freewheeling exploration. But the key to success is indeed balance of these elements. I suggest you not let a little resistance or seeming obstacle persuade you of anything. Indeed, should you encounter something that seems to be slowing you down, I suggest you just try a little harder. If you focus on what you want to create in your most idealistic concept of life, you will have more strength and motivation to address any practical issues that may arise. Dispense with them efficiently, take care of the basics and move on to what you know matters more. And at the moment, I assure you that pleasure matters a good deal more than business, than profits, than most responsibility. I would, however, maintain some awareness if you are needed to make a spot decision or to resolve a situation that someone brings to your attention. Again, be efficient, check your work and move on.

Does the past ever end? One of the reasons that so many spiritual traditions teach us that “the only time is the present” is because the mind and emotions tend to teach exactly the opposite. The habit of evaluating and reevaluating ourselves is not the gift of faith. Notice that so often in our process of sizing ourselves up, we come out as anything but adequate. This alone would be reason to suspect your conclusions, and to consider that you’re thinking in a pattern or program rather than thinking creatively. As countless painters and musicians have discovered, art trumps psychology. Work your most dangerous edge and you’ll feel free.

This week’s astrology brings yet another opportunity to overcome your fears and find some common ground with certain partners who could use a little instruction in the aspect of life known as cooperation. As usual, you are taking a formal and perhaps cautious approach to the question of how you must handle others, which is a good idea considering they may not be able to see past the end of their nose. A calm, straightforward approach to the situation will work the best, as will stating clearly what you need and what you expect. Remember that behind this facade is a well of emotion, passion and drive that has you in the mood to accept nothing other than the best. Live it, don’t talk about it.
