You need to set your sights on one long-term goal. One, not two. Recent circumstances have not permitted this luxury, and lately people seem confused or reluctant to offer their help or opinion. Gradually, that is changing; and in particular someone close to you has sorted their feelings to the point where they will soon know which way is up and what, in truth, is best for them. This will allow a true meeting of both hearts and minds, but when that time comes, make sure you know your single most important agenda item, and have the words to express it clearly.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra weekly for May 2, 2016.

How much effort must you exert to get what you need? Do you find that people respond to you, or do you constantly have to push them? Before you can find a meeting place between your needs and those of someone close to you, it would help if you find your own center first. That means understanding yourself well enough to make a few clear, simple statements about which you do not feel guilty. You seem to be under the influence of someone with whom you’re not sure you see eye to eye. You can get to a clear meeting, though understanding yourself is the first step. I recognize how complicated this self-understanding thing is. But it doesn’t need to be that way. If you run into some internal contradiction, consider the two sides of the equation. How exactly did you end up with two values or desires that conflict? Where did you get the idea that you can have one of them, or neither, but not both? You did not make that one up on your own.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio weekly for April 30, 2015.

Approaching astrology will stir up deep passions, needs and desires. True enough, that’s happening most of the time, though astrology like this arrives with depth and feeling and some mystery. So take that ride, with no expectation where it will lead you. One thing I suggest you focus on is your sense of mission. Not your career, not your ambitions, but rather your calling. Think of this in an integrated way. Your calling is not separate from who you are or what you do, but rather something that you express with every cell in your body. It’s also something that is expressed through your relationships and your contact with your environment. You may understand this in theory — that who you are is never separate from what you do — though now you get to experience that as visceral. This is the physical sensation that you are real. It may fill you up and seem to pass by, but really it’s not going anywhere. Remember the feeling and keep creating the conditions that lead you there.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Virgo monthly for November 1999.

Many books could be written about the nature of the relationship between feelings and thoughts. At different times, one or the other is granted the superior place in the alleged pyramid of consciousness. My own astrology allows me to do a lot of feeling with my mind and thinking with my emotions, so I am not usually taking firm sides in this little debate. In your current solar chart, though, I see a picture of great and intense activity in your emotional body. This is pulling you down into some very deep places; it has you exploring the distant past (perhaps your genetic roots), and feeling the immense planetary crisis that has been handed to us by our predecessors. And you’re likely to be stirred up with all kinds of very private questions, philosophical struggles, and inner streams of consciousness as a result. So much of this psychic activity may really elude clarity, yet at the same time it is demanding that there in fact be clarity, and in short order. But help is on the way. Try, and you will succeed, at doing something that most people would find very unlikely: to go all the way into your feelings, maintaining full mental awareness, and return and tell the story. Don’t forget that last part. You’ll need ready access to what you learn, and so will the rest of us.

You may be wondering whether you really want to live where you are living, but I suggest you set some parameters on the question. It’s fairly simple: do you have good friends who inspire you, and do you feel like you’re working toward any of your more important goals? This is certainly an intense period of review for you, but I suggest you make no final decisions until after Saturn has left your sign in early September and an eclipse right around then helps you sort out your finances. You need to be working with clear information and a concrete plan, and both are likely to materialize in about one month’s time.

Welcome people who are brave enough to be honest with you. Be brave enough to let the world know exactly who you are.

You are finally experiencing the benefits of some independence, and after what has seemed like way too much swimming against the tide, you are back to breathing a bit of fire. You may, however, want to investigate whether a health concern you have is related to the grief of another person you’re carrying, most likely one of your parents. You may also want to check carefully whether, in that case, your current theory about how to handle it is correct. The next few days will provide you with an opportunity to move some of those emotions and as a direct result, experience some relief.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Virgo monthly for July 2014.

You may have to adjust your strategy in light of unexpected developments, though that is another way of saying that plenty is brewing behind the scenes that you may not be aware of yet. Don’t mistake this for nothing happening. Current astrology is a reminder to pick up the threads on whatever may have been sidetracked about six weeks ago. Reassess that particular goal — you may want or need to revise it, or you may want to fold it into a new plan that has emerged more recently. Either way there is something valuable involved that will help you advance your work and your reputation. I was about to write “if you’re interested,” though I see every reason to be interested, and to get yourself there if you’re having the least hesitation.
