Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius weekly for Sep. 7, 2012.

You’re your own best ally and your own worst obstacle. I suggest you notice when you trip over yourself, and make a point of getting out of your own way. Part of how you do this is by going through your goals and working out any conflicts that may exist between them (such as time conflicts, priorities of what to do with resources, and getting clear in your thoughts about what’s the most meaningful thing to do first). I suggest you monitor the way that any delays are related not to something logistic but rather to an emotional hangup of some kind. You’re at a point in your life where asserting yourself in a bold way may seem dangerous. You may be wondering whether you’re perceived as a person of solid character. You may be thinking about what others think of your motives. I suggest you put that all out of the way and focus on staying clear with yourself, and knowing what motivates you and why. There is one other question, which is this: on what ground do you build your self-esteem?

As you know, you’re not the cool, logical person that the world perceives you to be, and that you love to be when you can. Particularly lately, you’re an intricate, complex and inwardly focused critter, always preparing to leap off the next psychic cliff. What is really interesting, and exciting, is that you’re losing your intimidation about exploring your own labyrinth. You’re fully aware that there is a vast dimension to you that has no adherence to logic, no loyalty to being rational, no need to make sense all the time. What you would benefit from is clarifying your relationship to the past. It still seems more solid to you than it really is. I suggest you consider the idea that the past is an interpretation. And as you look at it differently, that interpretation will change — and as you see the past in an original way, you will create an interpretation that favors you.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aries monthly for September 2009.

Beware of toil. Most things you think need to be done actually don’t need to be done; and when the time comes they should be a little easier than you think rather than more difficult. However if you dive into work unconsciously, without a plan and without a clear goal, you may find yourself lost in a maze of unrewarded effort. The key will be to let your mind do as much of the work as possible. Take five times longer thinking about what you need to do and why. Work out the issue until you have a breakthrough. I know, this is a tall order; but you’re not just impetuous. You like things to be easy.

Certain influences have recently entered your life which are to put it mildly absolutely compelling you to accept into your mind only what you know is true and to define your life as a quest for truth. There are those who say the T word is dangerous and if anyone says that to you look carefully at the intellectual ground on which they stand. In fact look at the intellectual ground on which everything and everyone stands including yourself.

If you keep your antennas up, you may notice that you’re gradually being nonchalantly hemmed into a situation that, once you figure out that it’s happened, and how good old so-and-so and their secretary Miss Whatshisname have has enticed you to walk precisely into it, you’ll probably be a bit pissed off that you didn’t see it coming sooner. To avoid said situation, take heed now that you don’t forfeit any of your choices, no matter how much authority, intimidation or sweet talk people use on you. Seemingly little decisions you make today will have effects for weeks. Just keep your options open.

You can now see where you can, and must, and truly do, stand apart from the world. Suddenly any risk you may have felt doing this is replaced by the freedom that deep commitment to yourself brings. Because you feel your own presence, it’s natural to feel the world move over and make room for you, or to sense that there is a purpose that only you can fulfill. It may feel like this is ‘about time’ and long overdue, but this is just the beginning of a long process of reconciliation with yourself that will only get better.

I suggest that you guide your energy toward the healing needs you’ve been identifying and working with in recent years, using this moment to commit to going deeper into your most pressing life questions. You may find that certain close partners are both willing and knowledgeable enough to guide you through certain levels of yourself that you’re less than comfortable with. One pressing question is the way that family dynamics manifest in your life, particularly when you find yourself in a group of people. In a word, this is about trust. While you may have the idea that you can go it alone, that’s not really true, though everything depends on your ability to trust both yourself and others, in that order.
