Today’s Oracle takes us to the Pisces weekly for Feb. 1, 2016.

Do your best to stay visible this week. Make sure people know what you’ve been up to, and make sure they can actually see and feel your best work. Whatever you’re doing is now starting to rise above its foundations and show real results. But you must do your part, and stay available and make sure that your accomplishments are known. Therefore, do not be modest. Your idea of bragging is closer to everyone else’s idea of modesty, so you can push things. You are likely to make some unusual contacts, so pay attention, and know who you’re talking to at any time. Get a real conversation going, even if you’ve known someone for five minutes. Your old friends will be even more valuable. You might reach out to people you’ve known for a lifetime, if only to say hello and ask what’s up.

In order to understand the nature of a problem, you will need to take a chance. That may mean considering possibilities that seem risky, or point to potentials that you don’t want to consider. When it comes to understanding psychological and emotional dynamics, many people will avoid an idea because they don’t like what it implies. I suggest you treat anything like this that you encounter as opportunities, and even as low-hanging fruit. Meanwhile, I suggest you ditch the notion of a ‘happy childhood’, if such a thing influences you. Childhood is extremely complicated, we tend to forget most of it, and in truth, it’s never easy. Embrace the complexity of what you went through, and the contradictions involved, and recognize the fact that there are parts of you that are still aching from some of what happened. You’re also very likely to be carrying the pain of your parents, and at the moment, what your mother passed along to you is high on the agenda to be looked at, understood and resolved. Said another way: you are ready.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer monthly for May 1999.

This would be a good month to live alone. In fact, it would be a good couple of months to live alone, though that’s not always possible. So you’ll need to take some extra care that you and the cohabitants of your dwelling get along. Grease the wheels; do the dishes; take time alone; get out of the house as much as possible. But I see something else in the charts, a starry reminder to tell you to make sure that everyone who crawls into your bed really wants to be there, and to make sure you really want them there. If it works out that you do, then some truly delightfully interesting sexual experiments are yours for the indulging.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra weekly for Feb. 6, 2004.

There is, as you know, a time to calculate and be shrewd, and there is a time to turn your light on to full intensity and charm all the world. Do I even need to finish this paragraph? In case you’re not noticing, you are in full-on charisma node. The question is why you might resist your own potent effect on people, or hesitate beaming with your full heat and light. It appears to come down to a bit of secret knowledge you’re holding that is serving mainly to make you feel vulnerable and perhaps a bit guilty. You have to trust yourself with this information and not even think you’re going to use it against anyone. Yet on a deeper level is the fear that you might somehow hurt yourself. This is an unnecessary disturbance and in reality an ancient psychological relic. Stay in the moment. It is a rather excellent moment.

There are certain processes in life that you consistently experience below the level of awareness. You might call them subconscious. If you go back and assess all the times you’ve been in trouble the past 10 years (give or take five years), you may notice that just about all of those episodes occurred when some kind of subconscious process ran away with your life, but before you figured it out, it was too late. From this day forward, it will be much more difficult for that to happen again. In fact, if you maintain vigilance, it will be quite nearly impossible. And you know: this is a very happy development.

The time has come to push the boundaries of purity. You’re under several influences urging you to play an extremely clean game, and to express yourself in only the most refined ways. It’s like you feel you owe it to the world to be nothing but a perfectly efficient blue flame. There are advantages to this, true. But at the moment, you may need to be something else, or to take that focused ray of fire and set that torch wherever you feel it needs to go. Remember, this is not something you owe anyone. The only debt you have is to yourself, and it’s just about paid off. Right about now, your life starts to be about reaping the profits of existence, and making choices that remind you how authentic you are. This is to say, forget purity and do what you want.

You tend to leave an impression on others that is more austere and conservative than you may think. There’s a certain reserve around your sign, a reticence to reveal too much, and your astrology is illustrating just such an inner discussion now. You seem to have some compelling reasons to stay silent — and some even more compelling reasons to reveal something specific about yourself. Which is the correct impulse? Well, which haven’t you tried? What are your concerns about consequences? Are they just fears, or are they realistic? One of the main qualifications for leadership is sincerity. Were you to choose that path, what would you want to reveal? Not be compelled to reveal out of some moral dictate, but want to reveal because you will feel better and stronger for doing so?

That means energy, confidence and a really odd feeling that goes something like, “What was I so worried about all along?” Meanwhile, your professional life needs some special attention. The situation needs to be sorted out carefully, not with bravado, so you’ll need to act with some restraint. Put an emphasis on communication rather than on action: another not-so-Marslike strategy. You’re clearly at a new and probably unexpected starting point, but you need to take it just a little slowly and carefully — for now.
