Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer weekly for May 23, 2008.

Planets are aligning in a way that signifies an unusual spell of profound introspection: dream activity, spiritual or psychological work, inner dialog and confronting your fears all come to mind. Other factors suggest that you are filled with the feeling that you know what is important to you. If I may be so bold as to suggest something — don’t be so sure you know. You may be able to pursue certain specific financial goals without interfering with your inner process, though I suggest you keep your priorities in order. At this stage of your life, your inner world is the one that matters the most. I recognize this defies the teaching of nearly every aspect of Western culture, but so be it. While you’re at it, keep going: this is the time to have no secrets from yourself. None, as in not a one.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio weekly for Feb. 13, 2009.

You seem emotionally overrun, like a room full of computers midsummer without any air conditioning. However, it looks like you’ve calculated your way through one delusion that was blocking you from getting the emotional data that you need. It’s true that one particular decision you are making seems to be taking forever. The stars point to an obsession with balancing different factors that you know will never actually come into equilibrium. There is a factor that you are not seeing, however, and you need to press gently on the situation, and your attitude toward it, and do that gradually until you have the revelation that shifts your whole point of view. Let’s put it this way. You will solve this in a way different than your parents would.

I suggest you avoid any and all confrontations that appear to involve religion. They may happen inside your front door, or they may simply feel like that’s where they are happening, within that inner sanctum of emotional space that is your true home. Religion is not something to debate — not, at least, on the level of your deepest beliefs. Some kind of movement in this general subject area is inevitable. I suggest you keep your thoughts in writing, and if you want to meet the world on the level of ideas, share what you’ve created. But maintain the sanctity of your space, your ideas, and most of all your feelings.

Fear not. Love boldly, because love is freedom and freedom brings sanity.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius weekly for June 13, 2008.

You need to be mindful of the effect another person with an agenda is having on you. I am not inclined to say that someone has a plan you don’t want to go along with, but I want to caution you that you are in a position to go along with something you don’t want only because someone else is pushing you. Therefore, I suggest you delay decisions or commitments until you have a much clearer sense of where you stand with yourself. Many new creative and sexual horizons are opening up within you. You are seeing yourself from an angle you never imagined you could. The result could be liberating, but at the same time being in a state of flux makes you particularly vulnerable to ideas other than your own. The great news is that you have plenty of ideas that are coming right from you. If you’re not discovering who you actually are, you are encountering many truly brilliant potentials. And at such a time, what you think is far more meaningful than what anyone else might think.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Virgo monthly for October 2013.

Treat joint finances and ‘permanent’ commitments with more care than usual. I don’t mean hesitancy — I mean scrutiny. Inaccuracies that slip into the mix, whether intentional (deception) or seemingly unintentional (overlooking details) or careless (skipping over due diligence), will cause problems in the future, so there is an added necessity to proceed with impeccability. With Mars soon to be in your sign that would not normally be an issue, though an opposition to Neptune is saying that your mantra needs to be ‘reality check’. Check the facts, investigate your doubts; if everything seems perfect, get another opinion; if you find a problem, solve the problem and then find two others to fix. The heart of the matter, however, is how you handle negotiations with close partners. This is especially true if you don’t know they’re negotiations. However any time there is an agreement on the table, especially if it involves money, pause, remember that you’re actually in a negotiation-commitment process, and then invoke your ‘reality check’ mantra. You need to take your time discerning the motives of the people around you. Even if your intuition gives you good information, make sure that you back it up with evidence collected from observation over time. When you’re dealing with Neptune, which you are at this time in your life, taking careful, dated notes is one of the most useful ways to stay awake.
