Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn weekly for July 11, 2008.

Pay attention to what information comes your way this week. It may be in the form of words spoken, an email addressed to you or something you see flipping through the channels at 2 a.m. One sentence could hold the key to a problem or situation you’ve grappled with for the past couple of months, and the effects could be far-reaching, extending significantly beyond your personal sphere of influence. If a person — probably a coworker or employee — offers you the idea, I suggest you take the time to investigate how they came to make that observation or reach that conclusion, and learn something about both your thought process and their own. Ask yourself how you missed something so obvious — and pay attention to what else you may be missing.

The Saturn-Pluto conjunction is separating, but still strongly influencing our experience. While this event will happen two or three times in the lives of most people, this particular instance is a moment of convergence and reckoning for the world and for us as individuals.

Use your allies. Or perhaps better said, count on your friends and your closest colleagues. You have some influential or even powerful friends, and you share plenty of common ground with them in terms of a desire to accomplish what is right and what is true. I suggest you be bold about making proposals and exploring your options for partnerships and associations that are not only mutually profitable but also beneficial to the wider community. Though Pisces has a reputation for lacking structure and direction, you do the best when you work with and within an organizational group of some kind, and you would be the likely person to initiate that. It’s not merely that you have that particular talent. You have something else going for you, which is the ability to go beyond the cynicism and defeatism that is so popular right now. Your Pisces vision can show you what is possible — and if you open your eyes and look you will see that means anything.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Taurus monthly for June 7, 2007.

I suggest you communicate with any disappointment you may be feeling, because that dialog holds the way to your deeper feelings. Any sense of loss is inherently lodged in the past; it actually has very little involvement with the current story of your life, and is if nothing else an indication that the past is indeed over. Also, your emotions are peaking, which is creating a distortion enhanced by being in one of those states of mind where it’s difficult for you to express to others what’s going on with you. Your charts say that if you stick with your feelings and mainly keep talking, you will work through whatever difficulty is now upon you, and emerge in a clear, well-lighted place.

This is an unusual phase of learning and growth for you. It’s as if every factor in your mind, emotions and surroundings is calling on you to be yourself. You are being pulled by some invisible magnetic force to grow into who you are, to learn about everything you can, and to understand others. However, this may be drawing you out of your comfort zone. Growth and learning mean change. Most of all, you are being summoned to make friends with what is unfamiliar. You are too young to be set in your ways, or to have made your mind up about everything. You might therefore approach life from the viewpoint of being open to all possibilities. Make friends with the unknown and it will make friends with you. You are well into a process of genuine personal evolution. There is no turning back at this point, nor can I imagine a reason why you would want to.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius weekly for February 8, 2016.

You cannot reason your way out of all fear. At a certain point you must address anxiety as its own subject. Because so few things that we fear actually go wrong, you can safely treat fear as an emotion, rather than as a prediction or premonition. This is a crucial distinction to make, because if fear has relevance, it’s about the thing that you fear coming to pass. It looks like your concerns may center around control of some kind, such as over the behavior of a partner. If you find yourself keeping score, I would propose that this is not helpful. Ditto if you find yourself keeping secrets. I suggest that you would benefit from being honest with yourself — and then with intimate partners — about what is truly important to you. Right now, honesty and transparency are your best friends.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio weekly for February 7, 2003.

You are facing an odd opportunity to work with both your highly individualistic drive to do everything your way for yourself, and a distant, perhaps potent calling to serve the needs of certain people in the world, whether it’s good for them (or you) or not. I suggest you stick to your own agenda. It’s entirely more honest and is the actual source of benefit for the world around you. You will get a lot more done, and you obviously have a lot, in fact, to get done. That so much in your life feels poised for sudden rearrangement need not slow you down or deter your course of action. What counts the most always changes in form and sometimes in content, and the only way to know how you really feel about what you want is to make it real and test out that reality. It is fair enough to say that what is most important to you has the greatest chance of happening. Remember that in your moments of doubt.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Virgo monthly for March 2, 2009.

You seem to be so busy with commitments that you don’t have time to explore. Therefore, when someone arrives and gives you an opportunity to do just that, I suggest you make time and space. More to the point, make being available a priority. I mean really available, unplugged and potentially undressed; but mainly psychologically and spiritually available. Far to the contrary of what most “on the go” types say, this is an option, and usually we opt out by being too busy because we don’t want to be vulnerable. Remember, being open to pleasure means being open to pain. Being open to love means being open to fear.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn monthly for June 25, 2015.

You have the strength of your convictions — but as Robert Anton Wilson said, convictions make convicts. What would benefit you and close partners the most is your flexibility — such as working with options rather than all-or-nothing scenarios. You will benefit from having alternatives around the timing of certain things you want to happen. And it includes taking an open-ended approach to resolving apparent conflicts. While there may be some sparks flying, most of the friction is coming from inside of you. For the next couple of months, your ruling planet Saturn is making a final return to Scorpio before moving on to Sagittarius for a two-year stay. This shift is helping you see all that you’ve left unsaid. This includes the implications of information you’ve gathered that you have not taken fully on board, much less shared with others. You are entering a time in your life when you can afford to have no secrets — by which I mean no secrets in intimate situations. Indeed, your willingness to reveal yourself is the measure of your desire to be close to others. When you find yourself stockpiling information for future use, you can be sure that you’re preparing for an unnecessary confrontation. You have so much to offer, and so much to receive.
