Planet Waves TV: Cancer New Moon, and the USA Horoscope

The new edition of Planet Waves TV covers Monday morning’s Cancer New Moon, the grand water trine and kite pattern with Pluto. I also cover the United States Sibly chart, the most widely used chart for July 4, 1776. I look at the question: why is the United States so neurotic? Why do we squander our resources? The answer seems to be that we feel guilty about how we got them.

by the way — not “one for all” but rather every man for himself is the current milieu of mainstream politics. also one other correction: in USA chart, moon is semi-sextile Pluto, not semi-square. the semi-sextile can get lost, kind of like the feeling of not knowing your neighbors.

Thanks, dear Eric. Really helpful. Suddenly hit by emergency situation at work since yesterday (hello new moon….), and will have to work overtime and weekends for the next few weeks – plus contract renewal coming up, and insecurity around that, too. Old sense of insecurity and powerlessness coming up again – that i haven’t felt for quite a while now – but am in different place from where I used to be, and will try to ride those waves – supported by your words.

Just a thought or two about the charts you’re discussing … anyway you could have them posted on the side, stationary so that the blind people like me might get a better look? … I feel incredibly grateful for the content but pulled out of the dialog by the charts moving, etc. Sorry, that sounds super whiney in the face of your offering your gifts.

BTW, I read this book a while ago, while in grad school, called Reinventing Government. It changed my thinking about how our government does what it does. So brilliant. Wish I had a copy to send you. In essence, if memory serves me, it’s about making decisions on a local level. While it’s entertaining to focus (obsess) over electing the President (Daddy), that’s not all that important in the ways in which we govern our world.

Thoughts? Please feel free to share with me.
