I don’t see a reason to rush to a conclusion and I see a few reasons to take a deep breath and gather information. The most important facts you need are elements of historical data from your own life. Trace the history of the situation, collect dates, and get a sense of when your fears were running the highest. That alone will speed your healing, and give you concrete information to work with if you seek expert advice.
