Although interpersonal interactions could still include for a while yet layers of confusion, uncertainty or misapplied expectations, some of the recent fog may begin gently burning off today. The Virgo Sun is making its exact opposition to Neptune in Pisces. Can you see something emerging in slightly more solid form? If not, give it time. Not only does Neptune have a far-reaching influence, and not only are other personal planets still under its thrall, but we’re also moving toward a Full Moon this weekend that will be quite close to The Watery One.
Along those lines, have you been asking yourself recently whether you’re getting ‘spiritual’ or intuitive information about a situation, or whether you might be deceiving yourself (or letting someone deceive you)? That’s another dynamic worth watching closely this week. Remember that moving gradually looks like the way to go right now. Identify some reachable goals related to your vision for your life, and see if you can begin filling that metaphorical bucket drop by drop. Putting just even a small amount of physical energy into activities that could inch you closer to a dream will likely help to mitigate nervous tension or stress, if any is looming in your life.

Events in and around your family of origin will give you some rare opportunity for perspective. Mondays can be tricky, but there are ways to make them a little easier. Today that might include giving yourself little reminders that it’s okay to go with the flow. Mars in Virgo making a square to a deep-space anomaly called the Great Attractor in Sagittarius could amplify pickiness over how certain things should be done. As in, that there is a ‘correct’ way, and that it is the ‘only’ way to do something. Any complaints you make to that effect could be especially polarizing to those around you (and vice versa); and other factors indicate that many people may be feeling sensitive in various ways (emotionally, psychically, etc.).
The more often you can pull back to see that many roads lead to the same destination, the easier it should be to stay in the space of serving a collective vision with your efforts. If you find yourself struggling with that, how many of your tasks can you complete solo and uninterrupted? The Capricorn Moon suggests a more conservative approach to interactions most of the day; once it moves to Aquarius in the evening (5:34 pm EDT / 21:23:37 UTC) there may be more openness to new or unusual methods.

Aries (March 20-April 19) — Dreams and aspirations are not merely useful tools for keeping you interested in your daily routines. Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — Be sure to spend at least some time this week on a favorite art or invention project, or at any rate do something you love that involves a form of creation. Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — Given how unique you are, it is perhaps unsurprising that you sometimes find yourself disagreeing with members of your community or social group. Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — Our thoughts are, to a greater or lesser extent, influenced by our feelings. There is no shame in this; yet it does help to recognize the fact, and to know when you are acting on emotional triggers. We can get caught up in a particular dynamic, and be in the middle of a heated dispute, before realizing what set us off in the first place. In the midst of the building Jupiter-Neptune square, and with all the personal planets still in Virgo and still broadly opposing Neptune, this week brings yet another Pisces event. That would be the Pisces Full Moon, exact overnight Friday into Saturday (Sept. 14 at 12:33 am EDT / 4:32:39 UTC).

With so much Neptune and all that Pisces, and an abundance earthy-yet-intellectual Virgo energy trying to make sense of it all, it might be worth considering a few watery concepts and sayings. A few of my favorites that come to mind:
— The gradual, persistent accumulative power of ‘drop by drop’.
— The sometimes-sudden, sometimes-imperceptible action of erosion.

Imagine you’ve climbed a mountain (or at least a big hill) and are standing at the summit; you can see, clearly, vast swaths of land in all directions. Your concept of the size of the accessible world has changed; with so much of it under your gaze, you might well feel better able to travel farther. This is what you’re aiming for conceptually. Where are the lines between doing what you know you can do, pushing your usual limits in order reach a new goal, and simply taking on way too much? Today’s square between the Virgo Sun and Jupiter in Sagittarius describes some invigorating energy that could be used to move some part of your life ahead — if you can be disciplined about it. But it can also indicate going overboard and then falling short of your aim as a result. Neptune in the pattern suggests it could be a little harder to discern where those lines mentioned in the first sentence are located.
Here is one possible way for you to find the sweet spot of using this energy and tension usefully: think of some of your more productive and empowering habits; these are likely to prove even more beneficial if you focus on exercising them to a greater degree. Now think of some of your more self-sabotaging or frustrating habits; these could get exacerbated the more energy you give them (consciously or unconsciously). Of course, the trick may come in being honest with yourself about which tendencies truly help and which hinder. As the old cliché goes, live and learn.
