Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, #980 | By Eric Francis

You may have health matters on your mind, though I don’t suggest you stress about them; stress seems to be the problem. There’s also some missing information that will clarify matters considerably, and you won’t need to wait for long. I suggest that you strictly maintain a few guidelines, however. Make all your own decisions, based on what you know and understand. That’s another way of saying pay attention, take an active role and use what you know. Don’t succumb to anyone’s authority merely for its own sake or on the assumption that someone else must know more than you do. Your vitality is what helps you heal, grow and create your environment, and all three of those elements are interrelated. Your existence is holistic — part of an integrated whole, with each aspect influencing the others. You don’t need to treat symptoms, but rather, seek deeper understanding, shift your orientation and keep reminding yourself that everything is connected.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, #979 | By Eric Francis

You are a creative and sexual powerhouse right now, and the more you want to be one, the more energy you will dial in. Once you get going it will be difficult to stop, or more likely, you will wonder why you would have to stop. You might want to consider things like whether you need to get up in the morning or alternately, whether you can rearrange your schedule to accommodate your passion. The crest of the wave is from Friday through the peak of the Full Moon on Tuesday of next week. You have a rare opportunity on your hands to explore and stretch your potential; if you’ve been feeling blocked or restrained in any way, this is the time to break through to the next level. While this particular cosmic wave passes through pretty quickly, it’s tapping into much deeper forces that will be with you for a long time.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, #978 | By Eric Francis

A relationship is looking for some extra space within your household or living space. This may account for the pressure you’re feeling. It’s not enough to clear things up on the mental or emotional levels; the physical plane needs a lot of attention these days, and in your life right now that means freeing up a room or finding a space to spend time where there is enough room to have some freedom and uninterrupted time. The emotional challenges still persist — but will be easier in a clean, well-lighted place.

Planet Waves Monthly Horoscopes — December 2013, #977 | By Eric Francis

You may feel like you’ve got an unusual amount of work piled on you, however the way to think of this is as approaching a truly significant achievement. There may be something you’ve wanted to accomplish for years, and you now have that potential. It will help if you get busywork out of the way, avoid running around on errands or doing everyone else’s job. That is to say, keep yourself on a routine of constantly prioritizing and reassessing your priority scheme. The point of this, if it’s not obvious, is to eliminate as many unnecessary activities as possible and direct your energy to what you know matters. If you are uncertain, knock it down the priority list and focus on what you are confident you want to do or know you must accomplish. One thing I can tell you is that by thinking things through and letting your mind do most of the work, you can spare yourself a lot of pointless effort and wasted time. I don’t mean worrying, which you’re better at than you let on. I mean thinking of your goals, desires and the circumstances of your life as puzzles you want to solve, and getting your thoughts together before you take action. A sketch on the back of an envelope may be enough.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 #976 | By Eric Francis

It will come as a great relief for you to have the Sun in Sagittarius. It may feel like you have extra rooms added onto your house, ideas that have wings and an overall brighter outlook. The emotional bog that came along with the recent run of the Sun in Scorpio will begin to dry up and feel like something more workable, feeding your energy rather than draining it. You may still feel like there’s an aspect of yourself that is inside a glass box, and can only see the sky rather than actually fly up there. Here’s my reading of that factor (retrograde Jupiter in the 12th house): Rather than expanding outward, this is an invitation to expand inward. Think of it as a safe container rather than as something that is holding you in. If you encounter a limit, consider it a resource rather than something you have to resist. The first time this maneuver bears some excellent fruit, you will trust it more the next time.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 #975 | By Eric Francis

You may find yourself in a leadership position requiring the utmost diplomacy, which in turn will prompt you to summon your gift for psychological insight. Once you understand where someone is coming from, their conduct will have a different meaning, and you will have a much better idea how to approach them. One thing described in your solar chart is allowing any potentially hot situation to cool off. Another is bearing in mind the places that a person is hurt without playing into their pain or sense of injury. Finally, taking responsibility for your part will show others that it is safe for them to take responsibility for what is theirs. You are definitely in a lead-by-example moment. And in this moment, you will learn a lot more listening to your intuition than you will from attempting to verify things in words. Save that project for next week.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 #974 | By Eric Francis

You seem to be doing a pretty good job at avoiding being emotionally overwhelmed, despite having a number of excuses to feel that way. You have the ability to withdraw part of yourself into a secret location. I suggest you avoid that tendency, though, and move in the opposite direction — that is, stay close to the surface of your awareness. Be present for yourself and the people around you. Maintain some equilibrium between your inner life and your immediate environment. Said simply, you’re better off if you reveal to others how you feel, which may not involve explaining it in detail but rather with a simple statement and allowing yourself the space to be exactly as you are. This is not about there being no place to hide; it’s about opening the windows and allowing in fresh air and sunshine.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for November 2013,
standing in for weekly #973 | By Eric Francis

At times you question whether you’re flexible enough for your own good, and you may be annoyed at how rigid you can feel — though it serves a purpose. You want your foundation to be strong. That requires a certain degree of firmness, and a certain kind of flexibility. Events of the next few weeks will help you determine when it’s appropriate to express one or the other. Notice what environments make you feel rigid, which pull you inward, and which draw you out of yourself. Indeed, how you respond to any environment will tell you everything you need to know about your relationship to it. So if you’re feeling like you need to be strong and inflexible, you can at least notice and ask yourself if it’s the best response, or if another would be preferable. The operative fact is that you have a choice.

Planet Waves Monthly Horoscope for November 2013,
standing in for weekly #972 | By Eric Francis

The central question of this month’s solar eclipse is safety — when and where you feel grounded and confident of your environment. While this may seem to be about having a dry roof, food to eat and dependable companionship, the question quickly slips into how you feel about yourself. Self-criticism is one of the most direct pathways into feeling threatened or unpleasantly vulnerable. Often self-critique is projected onto others, which is designed to vent pressure. However, projecting it onto a relationship turns out to be just as painful. How safe you feel reflects how much you like yourself. If you feel unsafe in your environment for direct reasons you can document, that, too, may be a reflection of how you feel about yourself. Whatever may be the case, you are in a phase where you can take some giant steps toward learning about self-esteem. The planets are aligned perfectly so you may learn from the mistakes of others. We live in a time in history when the way most products are sold is to make people feel inadequate. Legions of manipulation artists are paid an ocean of money to ‘educate’ us how horrid we allegedly are, and charge us money to feel better. Often we try to con ourselves using similar means. It does not work. If you think you need a reason to feel good about yourself, I suggest you go deeper.

Weekly horoscope for Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 #971 | By Eric Francis

The way is open for a dialog in some of the most sensitive situations in your life. Yet the operative word is sensitive. The other operative word is open. The situation calls for little else; if you can maintain that, others are likely to take the initiative and say what they need to say to you. Even if others don’t say anything, if you listen and are receptive you will learn enough, and your awareness will have a positive influence on the situation. Meanwhile you seem to be involved in a delicate balancing act of your own — your emotional body is telling you one thing and your political or strategic sense is telling you another thing. There is a point of contact, and you’re approaching it gradually. I can give you a clue how it looks or feels. You seem to be facing an inner dilemma, which involves two conflicting points of view. As you do your best to work it out, a third viewpoint will emerge that helps you transcend the conflict that turns out not to have been one.

The Oracle Horoscope, standing in for Weekly Horoscope 970, Oct. 11, 2013

If the astonishing run of luck, activity and inspiration the past few weeks has eased off, all that’s happened has indeed left you a different person. I would propose you figured out the importance of being grounded and building your dreams on solid foundations. Yet in truth, nothing has left the neighborhood or passed you by. Its form has changed, and in many respects, it’s become more accessible to thought (as inspiration sometimes is not). Also, you are starting to ask the important financial questions about the idea, and they do indeed have answers. Remember, if something doesn’t have a solution, it may not be a problem.

Weekly horoscope for Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 #969 | By Eric Francis

The astrology of the moment suggests you could get involved in nearly anything with anyone — so use some discernment. The same astrology is also granting you leverage to open doors and the insight to look through situations, figure out what information is relevant and make decisions that have actual impact on your world and the world around you. It would help if you tuned in to the scale of your situation — to see what you’re working with, who and what is influencing you, and who you’re influencing. You seem to be walking a fine line, though you’re on much more solid ground than you may imagine, with many more options than you may think. The main asset I suggest you cultivate is flexibility. Start in small ways. Change your routines a little. Travel home a different way than you went someplace. Look from side to side instead of straight ahead. There is interesting and even useful information coming from all directions. Where any one task, project or commitment is concerned, you have many more options than you think.

Monthly Horoscope for October 2013 #968 | By Eric Francis

You may think it would be wonderful if you could resolve that tension between dreaming big and wanting a perfect sense of security about the future. At the moment there is plenty of it — the bigger your vision, the less ‘safe’ and stable you may feel. Yet much as an electrical battery depends on those two polarities holding a charge, you are depending on this tension. In physics it’s called potential difference — with voltage. I suggest you work with the seeming contradiction between the way things are and the way things could be; between having your life be good enough and taking a risk to create something better. Much of this is in the realm of developing ideas that may ‘threaten’ your old ideas, or the mental patterns of the people around you. This, too, will present you with a form of tension that you can work with as a source of energy. At the same time, you seem to have no shortage of creativity and drive to move your ideas and plans forward. Here is the thing I would caution about: When you shake things up, that can come back to you as self-doubt, and in a weird way, as guilt. I suggest you proceed with the feeling that you’re entitled to express yourself as you are called to do, and to work with the formula “improvement is a form of necessary change.”

Inner Space Horoscope for October 2013 #967 | By Eric Francis

The Sun in Libra means new and interesting adventures in which you’re directly involved rather than a spectator. We live in a world of watchers and exhibitionists; direct participation is becoming a thing of the past, though clearly you have a different path ahead. The main difference between watching and participating is that experience changes one who takes part directly in it. There is a risk involved, and the risk leaves one open to something new. If you’re wondering whether you’re actually part of the scene instead of just looking at it: ask yourself if you’re taking a chance (greater than the price of a ticket). Ask yourself how an experience might change you. Notice whether you must open your mind in order to understand or process what comes your way. Get ready for a stretch.

Pisces Full Moon Moonshine Horoscopes, Tuesday, Sep. 17, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

Your Moon sign is quite resourceful. To fully tap into all those resources you need a full assessment of all that is available to you, as well as the shared resources at your disposal. You are gaining clarity around some shared resources that you may not have thought in the past you had access to. I suggest taking note of how much influence you actually do have over these resources. As you assess how you can utilize them, be conscious of any power-struggle dynamics that develop. You don’t need to engage with anyone who is trying to gain this type of control. Rather, do what you do best — operating from a place of knowing what you want and who you are. Focus on what you know to be true and others involved in your agreements and collaborative projects will follow you.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Sept. 13, 2013 #966 | By Eric Francis

Mars in your sign is showing you how consistency and persistence are the way to work through obstacles. If you slow down just a little, you’ll see that they are not providing the resistance that you thought they might offer. Brilliant ideas save work and get results. And they are available to you if you open up to them, which is another good reason for why you want to pause and think about any obstacle or problem before you attempt to tackle it. What you can have right now is a mix of inspiration and deep thinking. It’s not a matter of one or the other — every useful idea needs to be applied in a conscious way. The inspiration part is about the insight or the idea; the deep thinking part is about how to use it. Remember to match the right solution to the right problem. They may not be interchangeable but if you try out a few combinations, you will find a few perfect matches.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 #965 | By Eric Francis

You may be encountering the intractability of another person on an important matter, probably a domestic situation. Now is not the time to push the issue. By now, I mean over the next few days, tempting though it may be. This situation looks like a playback of family material, so the person who seems to be involved may be a sock puppet rather than an actual cause. I suggest that before confronting anyone or making a decision you cannot reverse, investigate the ways in which the matter is a projection of your inner reality. You may conclude that there are other causes or factors, but the astrology of the moment is pointing you within first, to seek a thorough review of your own emotional and psychological factors. Once you do that, and you’re fairly certain you’re not projecting, it will be far easier to address your concerns in a friendly, productive way — though I would suggest not before the middle of next week.

Virgo New Moon Moonshine Horoscopes, Tuesday, Sep. 3, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

You are moving through a number of deep internal layers of your emotional framework, bringing you into contact with your concept of value. How do you show value toward yourself? Toward others? You are working with a new idea regarding how you honor your own inherent value. Think of this as what you do to meet your needs, desires and boundaries. Part of honoring those needs is knowing which are authentically yours and which come from larger societal expectations. As you work with this new idea of what valuing yourself look likes to you, I suggest not worrying how others are responding. As you take the steps to respect your own value, close partners will follow your lead, understanding through your actions what they can do to respect your needs and boundaries.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscopes for September 2013, #964 | By Eric Francis

In any relationship situation it’s necessary to maintain awareness of your own identity, desires and needs, and those you share with other people around you. Usually we take for granted having to sacrifice one or the other. That is an idea from the distant past, usually advocated by our parents and grandparents, but which is no longer true for you. It’s not a question of ‘all you’ versus ‘all about the other person’. And it’s not a matter of alternating between the two. At this point in human history we face the authentic challenge of being wholly self-present and wholly present for others in your context as a relationship or business partner. Is this more than prior generations can handle, or were they merely lacking that concept? You can handle the stretch, and you have the concept available.

Monthly Horoscopes for September 2013, #963 | By Eric Francis

If you encounter something that seems immovable — a person, a situation, an emotion — it’s more like a floating object than a stationary one. It will move, if you apply energy in the right direction; but I suggest you proceed more like a tugboat than like the Titanic. But do you really need to move this thing, whatever it is? Do you need to exert so much energy? Or would it be better to organize your life around its presence for a while? What you have over the next few weeks is an opportunity to determine the size and scale of the situation, and to make an assessment of how it’s influenced you in the past. That’s really the question — what you’re going to do about something that already happened, perhaps long ago, and potentially reaching into past generations. What you’re doing that your predecessors have not done is acknowledge its existence. What you seem to be dealing with is a secret of some kind. There are at least two levels to any secret: one is figuring out that it exists, and the other is figuring out what it contains. It may seem nearly useless to know that there is some concealed information but to not know what it is. But in truth, you’re more than half the way there.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, #962 | By Eric Francis

What is the secret you’re clinging to that you don’t want to reveal? It’s not as bad as you think. It may not even be your material that’s troubling you — it could be that of a relative who influenced you (such as with their ideas about marriage or the rules you supposedly have to follow in relationships). Those rules, guidelines or expectations have reached a practical limit. That limit can be a building block as effectively as it can be a limit. So the choice is yours, though clearly, some of the responsibility resides with a partner as well. One thing you may be coming up against is that person’s history of abuse. For a long time (since around 2005) they’ve been on a path of working that into a more evolved place, and it’s at the point where a spiritual solution is on the verge of possible. Still, there is one level of programming that seems to be taking its sweet time, and there are days you may have the feeling that it’s intractable. That, too, is not as bad as you think.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, #961| By Eric Francis

Mercury has just ingressed your sign, which may be arriving with the sensation of the lights coming on after a long trek through the dark. Or described another way, you may have the feeling that a trove of knowledge that you’ve earned and accumulated is finally catching up to your awareness, kind of like you knew it all, and now you’re discovering that you did. You will need this knowledge in the coming days. If you find yourself facing a challenge, particularly one centered on your household or family, the key is to remember what you know. Another key is to remember that you have not just allies but supporters — you just need to recognize who is and who is not one of those. If you’re a woman, I suggest you notice the mother-daughter dynamics in your environment, including in your own family and those of others. If you’re a man, tune into this dimension in the women who are around you. This seems to be at the heart of the matter, and the core theme is learning to be flexible — more flexible than mom.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for August 2013 | By Eric Francis

You cannot be totally committed part of the time — such is a bit of wisdom from A Course in Miracles. Obviously you cannot do everything all of the time, but commitment is, above all, a state of mind. It’s a relationship to existence. It’s where the concepts ‘devotion to yourself’, ‘devotion to others’, and ‘devotion to a cause’ merge into one idea — because they are the same idea. Your inner alignment is the focal point of your relationship to existence. Your astrology is describing you as centered in that relationship, and if you observe yourself and focus your attention there, you can answer many of your own questions about who you are, what you want to be doing and why. It’s not even possible to pretend — knowing that will make your life much simpler.

Monthly Horoscope for August 2013 | By Eric Francis

There is astonishing strength that comes from devoting your life to service. I don’t mean servitude, codependency, or subjugation. I mean devotion to something in yourself that connects to the world around you in a profound way. It’s helpful to get the order of things correct: devotion is an inner phenomenon, not a commitment to something outside you. But the inner aspect is not a “this is for me” thing; it’s not really about you, it’s about something you contain for the purpose of expressing. There’s a useful image from across the wheel in Aquarius, where your counterpart there has an urn of water that she fills up for the purpose of giving away. You can think of yourself as being the guardian of the sacred hearth. You tend this hearth because it’s the thing to do, then it provides heat, light and energy for everyone around you. I suggest you get used to the idea that this is a 24-7/365 kind of commitment, though that mostly pertains to the inner relationship involved. Then, you offer your time and energy when called upon and when appropriate. The planet involved is Vesta, and there’s always some element of ‘doing without’ where this goddess is concerned. I would look at that as an exchange. If you get rid of everything that is trivial, gossipy and designed for appearances only, you will have abundant time and energy.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, July 19, 2013, #959 | By Eric Francis

The Sun enters your sign in grand style this year, just hours before Monday’s Aquarius Full Moon. Until then you may feel like you’re in some kind of psychic or emotional morass. Struggling or resisting is not going to help; I suggest you conserve your energy, find the most efficient ways to do things, then actually follow the plan. Avoid anything that seems to be taking too much effort; it’ll be easier once Mercury has stationed direct (Saturday), the Sun has ingressed your sign and the Moon reaches full phase (Monday). That means planning for modest achievements until then, taking the care to analyze your methods and your approaches and to actually notice where your energy is going, where it’s being wasted and where it’s getting results. This is extremely valuable information.

Aquarius Full Moon Moonshine Horoscopes, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

Over this week’s Full Moon, I suggest holding space for close partnerships to change at an organic pace. Your relationships at the moment may feel caught up on something, or like the pressure for change isn’t gaining as much traction as you would like. This feeling of pressure is coming up from within you rather than being applied on you. It is providing you with a leveraging point to orient on the changes you are making. Relationships for you have more to do with pleasure than a power exchange. In the past this has meant you giving more than you get, rather than a two-way street. You are in the process of learning to use a different approach to communicate your needs to a close partner. From these open and honest experiences and conversations strong relationships can be built with a foundation rooted in authenticity and acceptance.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, July 12, 2013, #958 | By Eric Francis

You have exceptional insight into the nature of reality right now — both your own and that of other people. It may not be in your nature to volunteer information where it hasn’t been asked for, though where it has been asked for is another question. If you’re in question about this, ask yourself exactly why you know what you know, and what purpose your powers of observation might be intended to serve. If your answer is that they are for you alone, I suggest thinking a little deeper. The service aspects in your chart are especially powerful right now, and you don’t need to be the personal beneficiary of your own goodwill. Indeed, it seems appropriate that you consciously take at least some action every day that is offered for the benefit of someone else with no thought of a direct payback. If you’re hesitating, I suggest you ask yourself what you’re holding onto.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, July 5, 2013, #957 | By Eric Francis

Your chart suggests that you feel like a new person. It’s as if certain elements of your personality have been sorted out and kept in a safe place, and certain other rare elements are filtering through to the surface. Consider this a kind of experiment in how you can feel so different that you actually can project that sense of difference into your life and those of the people around you. It looks like much of the emotional baggage you might ordinarily carry around is what’s being filtered out, and the ‘pure love’ aspect of who you are is coming through. The pure love attribute has some definite elements: one is a devotion to service. Another is awareness of the need for nourishment that all people have, and your own gift for helping with that. Another is devotion to your values. The last is transparency. If you feed and cultivate these aspects of who you are, they will grow ever stronger.

Cancer New Moon for Tuesday, July 2, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

Your subconscious is expanding, helping you contact regions you may not have been aware existed. If it feels like you are presently living there more than you are living in your daily life, I suggest not worrying too much about it. Think of this process as re-accessing your conscious self through the back door that is your subconscious. You are in the process of bringing part of your subconscious into your open internal space. At the moment, you are in a unique position of having tremendous clarity regarding what are usually quite murky and unclear parts of yourself. Proceed with an awareness of what you are learning; take the time to let this process fully unfold. Some important pieces of information are becoming available that will help you understand how to work with these newly discovered parts of your subconscious.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for July 2013, #956 | By Eric Francis

Match your actions to your innermost thoughts. From our earliest days we are trained to split our personalities: to say one thing and do another; to feel a certain way and act against our feelings; to violate our intelligence or intuition; and many other examples. One beautiful thing about the astrology of July is the close relationship between your deepest sentiments and your choices and actions. It would seem you have no interest in hypocrisy — only in acting from your values with the utmost sincerity. This is the course of action that will feel the best because it’s a reflection of who you actually are. All those options about choosing anything to the contrary are vastly overrated.

Daily Horoscope for Tuesday, June 25, 2013 | By Eric Francis

You may be in the role of facilitating cooperation among a group of people who cannot quite get along with one another but who have the best intentions. I don’t suggest you take leadership in an obvious way — rather, say and do what you think is right, don’t let anyone distract you and others are likely to follow your lead.

Daily Horoscope for Monday, June 24, 2013 | By Eric Francis

You may be feeling emotionally sensitive yet unsure why or what to do about it. Let the questions stand, be with your feelings, and see what you discover today. There’s really something that you’re working out, though the process is happening under the surface of your consciousness. It’ll be obvious soon enough what was troubling you — and that you’ve actually resolved it.

Monthly Horoscope for July 2013, #955 | By Eric Francis

You are not clueless. Far from it, though you may be spending some days walking around feeling like there’s a lot you don’t know. That’s almost always true. What’s especially true now is that most of that information is available. It’s just that to access it, you’ll need to use some unusual measures, the kind that might not be considered empirical or scientific. One might be a sense of certainty that gradually works its way into your thoughts. Another might be discovering that you have the answer to every question you pose, as long as you stop and listen to yourself. Asking others or seeking information outside yourself might confuse you, especially if people you care about tell you that what you’re saying or thinking seems like ‘too much’. If there’s a ‘problem’ with being creative or having big ideas, it’s that there’s always someone with smaller ideas ready to tell you that yours are too extravagant. Therefore, be careful who you talk to about what you’re thinking, learning or discovering, because as powerful as it is, humans are susceptible to negative suggestions. Along the same line, I suggest you back off of being too encouraging or supportive of projects that are not truly your own, or that you do not at least have a significant personal investment in. Rather, be a source of inspiration and courage to the people you’re directly involved with, and who will trust what you think, feel and say — and who will value your significant contribution.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for July 2013

Get it in writing and put it in writing. You would be amazed how much trouble this can save. Jot down the promises you make and those that are made to you. Where money or other property is changing hands, make sure there is a written agreement. Get contracts in employment or freelance situations, and make sure that everyone sticks to them. We will assume that the truth is on your side, and that therefore, documentation in any form will favor you, or favor everyone involved in the circumstances of your life. Remember that what is fair is fair. You won’t have to fight for it though you might have to assert your position with some emphasis — and if it ever comes time to do that, you want something to keep in your folder just in case you ever need it.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, June 14, 2013, #954 | By Eric Francis

A Course in Miracles in one of its many sobering moments says, “You do not ask too much of life, but far too little.” This is the time to ask a little more from life. Of course, to do that, you have to know what to ask for, and I think that over the next few days you will get some clear ideas. Yet you may also have some priorities that you’ve set aside or that you’ve pretended matter less than they do; get those into focus now. Rather than make a list of everything you want to accomplish immediately, consider what you would feel good about achieving in three months, one year and three years. Allow yourself to explore the idea that time is your ally rather than something you have to fight against. Time is a space in which to do what you want and what you need. We tend to use time in a microscopic or myopic way, knowing where we will be next Tuesday at 3 pm. I suggest you take a more spacious view. Give yourself some room to move around.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, June 7, 2013, #953 | By Eric Francis

Be cautious with financial transactions, from basic ones to the most complicated. Much hinges on whether you understand the details, and whether you put the information to good use. To put it mildly, plenty is at stake, and there is the opportunity for significant gain or loss. Therefore, slow down and take each step consciously. Know what decisions you can (or need) to put off until you have more information. In truth you’re in an exceptionally strong position and you have all the right ingredients to succeed at whatever you’re doing. Your part is to maintain the impeccability factor. That includes being fair to the people around you, maintaining the appearance of propriety. At this moment it’s every bit as important that you be standing in your integrity as it is that you present yourself as doing so. Be conscious of any double standards you may have, and remember that what you say even casually will echo outward. The Universe has ears.

Gemini New Moon for Tuesday, June 4, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

Lately, you have been working through a doubt or question regarding your role in a particular group, and whether it is the right one for you. One of your emotional needs is for your voice and opinion to be heard and respected. I don’t mean that you must always be considered ‘right’, rather that people actively listen to and consider your ideas. You have an opportunity now to set a new pattern — of your opinion being valued by others. Those around us follow our lead in how we want to be treated. As you place a greater sense of worth on your thoughts, feelings and opinions, those around you will do the same. Part of respecting yourself is setting boundaries that others will also respect, and holding people to it. What you are gaining through this process is a greater connection and sense of belonging in the communities you are a part of.

Inner Space Horoscope for June 2013, #952 | By Eric Francis

There seems to be so much you can’t do anything about, though what you have going for you is the ability to access what I will call spiritual help. Any mystery, any problem, any challenge, is inviting you to ‘offer it up’ to natural healing forces and ease your mind. One thing is certain: those forces are real, and they are willing to help you. Since you’ve got the responsibility to take care of so many people, count it as a good thing you have support. Yet you have more help than you may know. While it’s clear that you will need to help guide certain events in a positive direction, your leadership style would benefit from a major revision from anything your parents or early authority figures inflicted on you. There’s a new way to do things — and you’re bringing it into existence.

Monthly Horoscope for June 2013, #951 | By Eric Francis

Everyone needs a guardian angel, and you have a few. Who are they? People or spiritual entities? You’ll know better as you establish a relationship to them. What you may discover is that they’re sources of intelligence within yourself — what you may think of as your superconscious awareness. Some call this intuition; that’s close enough, though what you have developing now would be a particularly vivid form of it. As the month develops, you may find that this source of knowledge has more to offer you — far more than asking the opinions of others, for example, or watching public trends. Those external sources come with way more uncertainty than you need, and may be a distraction from admitting and acting on what you know to be true. One thing to remember is that your body speaks to you. The feeling you have thinking a thought is as meaningful or more meaningful than the thought itself; that’s your confirmation that you are onto something. This may guide you to trust countercurrents that may seem to violate prevailing (supposed) popular wisdom. These same aspects will help ease much of the anxiety you may be feeling, and provide you with a sense of confidence you don’t fully understand. That’s okay, and you don’t need to question it; just appreciate its presence. Whether these are actual angels, mentors or the ‘better angels of your nature’, the thing to do is listen to them, speak to them and thank them for their assistance. And don’t forget to ask when you need help.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for June 2012

Is there a difference between your public presentation and the person you are in private? It’s considered normal to live with this kind of split — even a right. But is it possible for a person to split his or her character? The mere attempt takes a lot of energy, and it’s a breeding ground for suspicion. Now is the time to align your motives, your desires and how you present yourself in public. Now is the time to have just one story about who you are, what you want and what you do. That story is the true story. I recognize that people have misgivings about speaking up sincerely, and can take that as evidence that there’s something wrong with them. If indeed there is something you actually cannot say, it would be a very good idea to stop and question your ethics. If the ethics check out, then feel free to speak up.

Sagittarius Full Moon for Tuesday, May 21, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

The Sagittarius Full Moon takes place in the area of your chart that has to do with fun and erotic sexual interactions. Sex is supposed to be a good time and you’re getting a reminder of that at the moment. I suggest being open to what opportunities arise this week and seeing where they lead. A Full Moon in such an adventurous sign as Sagittarius is a reminder to experiment. Hold space for both your own curiosity and a partner’s desire to try new things. Use this opportunity to try a fantasy or two. I realize that sex is one of the most personal acts we humans do and sharing a fantasy with a partner can be a very vulnerable experience. As you expand your sexual horizons this week, remember: the truth is erotic and so is vulnerability. Approach the topic of breaking out of your usual mold from a place of genuine curiosity and authentic desire to share the experience with your partner. You have the support you need to share what you want to try and take the step into the realm of experimentation.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, May 17, 2013 #950 | By Liam Carey

It looks like you are surrounded by fun-filled, stimulating and fascinating people with innovative ideas. I imagine it is just what you’ve needed after spending much of the past few weeks mired in work and pressing responsibilities at home. This week is an opening to experience yourself and all your ruminations in the light and reflection of others. It’s a great time to exchange ideas and information with a variety of folks, and to learn about and formulate the manifestation of all sorts of things: social agendas, familial relationships, utopia — your ideal world and relationships. Plus it’s just nice to feel part of the crowd sometimes, and I suspect now is one of those times. It’s always good to step back and analyze your own agenda when possible and especially when engaged with others. Are you misjudging someone else’s or your own intentions? Are you being mindful of boundaries? Many questions have been raised about administration of resources and this can lead to emotional extremes. One way or another, you’re likely to encounter lessons about give and take, whose (fill in the blank) is whose, and compromise.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, May 10, 2013 #949 | By Eric Francis

It’s worth considering the differences between the perception of success and actual achievement. It’s also worth considering the relationship between them — there is one. People seem more inclined to bet on who they think looks like a winner, vote for who looks like president or invest in a company with a strong image. The pattern in yesterday’s solar eclipse describes you integrating the two ideas — what you’ve accomplished and presenting what you’ve accomplished in a way that focuses attention. The chart also includes the description of a longterm project coming to fruition financially; one of the things described involves the financial rewards of your work. This is something that can grow and develop over time, on every level: economic, creative and also social. The social piece is integral to everything, since both outreach and fostering cooperation are essential to almost any venture or project that is focused on people, and these factors are especially strong. I suggest you work them consciously, because what you focus on will have a tendency to increase.

Taurus New Moon for Tuesday, May 7, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

An important work or career opportunity is presenting itself. This opening may seem to have arrived suddenly, though in truth you’ve been preparing and working toward it for a while. You are wrestling with a lingering sense of uncertainty about whether you have the skills and personal resources to capitalize on the rapid changes and progress in your work. I propose quickly dropping this notion and not questioning whether you can accomplish the new task ahead. Any sense of not being able to seize this opportunity is based on attitudes and perceptions from childhood. What you are running up against is a wounding that goes back many generations in your family. Identify it for what it is and realize that it does not inform who you actually are and where you are going. Instead, stay grounded in the experiences and skills you do have. You have more than enough knowledge and skill to make the leap.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, May 3, 2013 #948 | By Eric Francis

There’s the image of stewardship in your chart — as in ‘steward of the land’. Not its owner, possibly its occupant, definitely one who facilitates, who keeps a watchful eye, and who will act in a protective capacity when necessary. What’s the land of which I’m speaking? It probably involves some professional activity where your leadership is now being called upon and also recognized as essential. You’re an old hand at what I will call the spiritual piece: putting your faith (in the deepest sense of that word) to work in a way that few people can. This is what comes across to others, and what you can depend on. You can speak in the most practical terms about the most mundane kinds of affairs, and you will seem to be offering life-giving truths. Meanwhile, count on the fact that you’re a social and professional magnet — for talent, collaborators, and potentially for investors in whatever you’re doing that you invest your faith in. State your goals and build cooperation — the most precious thing on Earth.

Inner Space Horoscopes for May 2013 | By Eric Francis

You’re in the position of visionary, and many people are counting on you. This has a few main elements. The most significant is about values; you’re the one setting the example for what is right and true. The second is strategy. You know that there must be a method, and that means taking conscious steps to doing things in a way that solves future problems rather than creates them. The third step is presentation. You’re in the perfect spot to have the ‘pulse on public opinion’, however you may define ‘the public’. You can intuitively offer a way to show-and-tell the thing that needs to be explained, in a truly appealing way. All of this is a formula for success, though I think it’s going to be a different formula and a different kind of success from what you’ve experienced before.

Monthly Horoscopes for May 2013 #947 | By Eric Francis

You remain in a position of leadership, and it looks like you’re collecting some valuable skills as you mature into your calling. There’s a skill I’ve noticed that’s largely missing from the population around us — that of politics. The dysfunction and cruelty we see career politicians dramatizing is not really political — it’s more like anarchy. What I’m describing is the ability to help facilitate mutually beneficial outcomes; to make sure that collective resources are used in a way that benefits everyone; and to stand guard over what is right and true. You’re refining these skills and you may be feeling a calling to put them to use. Yet there is an essential idea contained in your chart: what you’re doing is not about power; it’s about benefitting people as a kind of public servant, in a way that is also supportive of you. By one reading of this astrology (using only traditional planets), you might be super ambitious to the point of not caring whose head you step on. When we add the influence of the asteroid Pallas Athene exactly conjunct the May 9 solar eclipse, you show up as someone deeply concerned about fairness, and proceeding in a way that is honest and grounded in your real values. The world needs more examples of this, and you are setting such an example in your local world. A Course in Miracles reminds us that “everyone teaches, and teaches all the time,” and you are being called to be a teacher of integrity by example.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for May 2012

The Sun reaches one of the peaks of its path through the seasons this month, arriving at the hotspot in your house of career, reputation and noteworthy success. This could have the effect of bringing what seemed like promise and potential to life. Therefore, I suggest you try your luck when it comes to anything involving the work you do or the reputation you have. Make contact with those who are in a position to help; they will be impressed by your sincerity and solid values. Current developments are as much about what you’ve accomplished in the past as they are about your potential now; right now the two are closely related. Keep your eyes on your vision of what is possible, which is to say — stretch a little and reach for what you think might be impossible.

Scorpio Full Moon for Tuesday, April 23, 2013 | By Genevieve Hathaway

An opportunity is arising for you to make what may feel like a bold career move. You may feel pulled in two directions — between taking that step or staying with what is tried and true. What may feel like two competing ways of approaching a situation is actually part of the same system. Bold and daring projects or decisions need to have a strong, grounded platform to be based on. You can think of this as hedging your bets when you take a risk by doing your homework, working through many possible outcomes, and having contingency plans. I suggest using feelings of caution not as an excuse not to take the leap, but rather as a form of traction to help you prepare and plan. Having a full understanding of the situation and resources at your disposal will help maintain flexibility to move with the quickly changing career situation.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, April 19, 2013 #946 | By Eric Francis

Think of yourself as the guardian of something of global importance. Imagine that you are a protector of all that is fair, honest and loving. That’s humble service, but it’s also essential that you make the mental shift from littleness to magnitude. You have a significant function in the world, and to fulfill that function you will benefit from keeping your mind as open and encompassing as you can. Center yourself on values that are designed to protect the core of life and love. You know what they are, and it’s natural for you to contribute to the world in such a way that supports what matters the most to you. You now have that opportunity, in what may be a continually increasing way. Remember the leadership skills you’ve developed. Remember your knack for getting others to cooperate with you, and to cooperate with one another. Remember how resourceful you are, which means you can pull together whatever it takes to get the job done.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, April 12, 2013 #945 | By Eric Francis

You are a success magnet right now, and the only thing that could possibly stop you is self-doubt. Therefore, if you feel any of that, refuse to feed it, justify it or rationalize it. It might help to know that what you think of as your doubts are really those of someone close to you — a parent or early caregiver — though they may feel like your own. You are no doubt aware of an evil tendency for one generation to pass its fears and limitations along to the next. If you’re a parent, make sure that this tradition stops with you; this means not accepting the doubts that others projected onto you, which is the one thing you need to do in order not to pass them along to others.

While you’re often inclined to work hard and earn what is yours, your real gift is that of strategy. You’re in an unusual and brilliant moment to consider any problem or complex situation you may face, and bring to it the certainty that there is a solution, if you can tune into it.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, April 5, 2013 #944 | By Genevieve Hathaway

A recent financial investment is challenging an old concept around resources, particularly financial resources. What you are discovering is that money is not just useful in making more money or sitting in a bank account. How you use your resources has a distinctly service-oriented component. It’s not just about writing a check, but rather knowing what your investment is creating — as well as who is impacted by it. Think of this approach as a socially aware allocation of your resources. I’m not referring to giving away all your financial wealth. Instead, notice the power your financial investments and donations have in making a difference in your community. You’re in a position to make a big impact in many lives; it will take less of an investment than you may think — though it will take targeting the right groups and people for the greatest results

Planet Waves Monthly Horoscope for April 2013 | By Eric Francis

The age-old traditions of superficial, self-centered and boring won’t work for you this month. They never did, but they are currently at an all-time low ebb. Therefore, you can plan on events that take you deeper, that involve you with others, and that are genuinely interesting. As you do, you may encounter the temptation to distract yourself with appearances, glamor and the desire to ‘be known’ for something. I suggest you succumb to nothing of the kind. Do what you do for its inherent value, rather than some secondary result. This leaves you plenty of room to focus on excellence, and to remember that a meaningful attribute of your karma is to focus groups of people into conscious coordination. As you do this, one thing to be aware of is anyone who does not want things to work. Some people on the planet have a not-so-funny way of reacting negatively when energy starts to focus in their proximity. They can be jealous when people succeed, seemingly not needing them. The first thing to do with anyone exhibiting this kind of attitude is to notice, and notice soon. There are a few ways to handle this kind of value; one is to include the person and keep him or her busy. Help them feel needed. Or, you can find a constructive use for their competitive spirit. Ask everyone involved what they need and what their expectations are. When you get your answer, set goals and make adjustments.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for April 2012

A fog that has long shrouded your life has lifted, and you now have the benefit of being able to see far into the distance. As you look out at the horizon you may notice that your imagination is stirring to life again. That would come in the form of seeing first clear sky, then some intangible forms taking shape, and then a kind of animation. The idea here is to visualize what you want to happen. Visualize something different for yourself. Fully claim the power of inner seeing, and the influence that has over what actually manifests in your life. You’re now free in a way that you were not free before: in a way that liberates your spirit from day to day; free to move around and more than anything, free to see both yourself and the world from many different points of view.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, March 15, 2013 #942 | By Genevieve Hathaway

Your agreements lately have required some extra negotiating. At times this has felt frustrating, like the negotiations were stuck on the same unresolved issue. In fact, you and the other party were fine-tuning the details like a woodworker dedicatedly and repeatedly sanding and reworking the legs of a strong table. The repeated refinishing actually enhances the solid structure of the table, which can carry a heavy load for a long time. A strong foundation provides a lasting quality. As Mercury stations direct next week, new information will help you finalize the agreement you’ve been working on. Proceed with patience as you reassess where you’ve been with the contract and the moves necessary to complete the final steps. Ultimately, the work you are putting into the agreement is building commitment and understanding between both parties that will be of tremendous benefit to all involved.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, March 8, 2013 #941 | By Eric Francis

If you’re negotiating an arrangement with someone right now, take it slow. This is true for emotional, sexual or financial situations. This is what you might think of as a developing story; viewpoints and positions are changing, and information is gradually emerging. At the moment, you’re not on a journey with a destination, but rather one that pauses in interesting places. Rather than being about fixed patterns, your relationships and the agreements that support them are continually evolving. I would remind you that part of the developing story is about how you respond to information that emerges from behind the scenes. Some of what comes out you will have known all along. Some you would never have guessed. All of it will prove to be useful, and there are a good few discoveries on the way that will prove to be essential. Just don’t get ahead of what you know; pause and allow the next revelation to come to the surface.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, March 1, 2013 #940 | By Eric Francis

This is the time to focus on money. No matter how spiritual, innocent, pure of heart, loving in your intentions, motivated by authentic creativity and truly generous you are, work what you’re doing until it creates the profits that are coming your way. All your other attributes are what is feeding your energy and your potential — not subtracting, or presenting any moral issues. There is (mainly fed by one reference in the Bible) an alleged prohibition on doing anything ‘good’ for money, which leads directly to a world where a lot of people think the only thing they can do is something detrimental, hurtful or exploitative. You are currently in the midst of some form of abundance; you have plenty to offer, and to share. There are many productive exchanges going on in your life, and what you’re involved with — or can choose to become involved with — is there to create benefit for everyone, including financial gain for you. PS, this is not a matter of ‘luck’.

Inner Space Horoscope for March 2012

You’re the very essence of faith in yourself — except when you’re not. I would argue, however, that the chart setup for Leo is the perfect expression of what used to be called humanism — which in the words of Wikipedia’s writers is “a philosophy or world view that focuses on human values and concerns, attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters.” The thing is, as you may know, this is a path to a sensible, useful spirituality, one that is not weighed down by dogma. At the moment you’re a walking expression of this philosophy in action. You don’t need something outside yourself to feel your place in the cosmos, or like you belong on the planet. Many others around you are noticing this in your words and actions, and learning something precious.

Planet Waves Monthly Horoscope for March 2013 | By Eric Francis

You’re fully invested in what you are doing — and if not, now is the time to give yourself that freedom. This is about depth, and it’s about connecting with others who have a similar sense of mission or similar vision. You’re being invited into a collaboration or ‘conspiracy’ of some kind, and it will be most pleasurable if you bring your full attention and true willingness. Indeed, your whole life may be vibrating with this feeling right now. This is very much a matter of relationship; most of life is, though when people join for a purpose, that can be especially meaningful and beautiful. Unlike most people, you don’t need to worry about losing yourself in your relationships, at least not now; your sense of who you are is too strong for that. I would remind you how this fear can and does keep many people from doing what they feel called to do, which is the fear of ‘getting lost’ in that very thing. Make contact with when this may have influenced you in the past, when you were far less steady on your feet. Free from that anxiety, the collaboration you take part in may have a ‘it’s time to change the world’ feeling to it. Remember, that’s exactly what you’re doing, even if in subtle ways. What you believe may challenge what others believe, though I would remind you that you’re not alone in your passion. And what others may think of you is far less meaningful than what you know to be true.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 #938 | By Eric Francis

From the look of your solar chart, this is one of the most interesting sexual moments you’ve experienced in a long time. And, in case anyone hasn’t noticed, erotic feelings and experiences lead to intimacy. You now have the opportunity to go deep, and to have a real exchange with someone (or ones) who mean a lot to you. Yet there’s an aspect of this to be aware of, which is the odd way that love brings up anything unlike itself. If I were to design a class in sex education, which is really about preparation for relationships, I might even start with this theme. The basic message would be: when you go deep, you will find the things that are buried deeply within you. Whoever you are with is likely to have some similar experience. We need to be aware that this will happen, and be prepared for it. Deep, passionate experiences change us irrevocably, and we need to be prepared for that change within ourselves, as well as with the people we share with. The relationship agreements we make need to accommodate that fact, and they can, if we create them consciously.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 #937 | By Eric Francis

This weekend’s New Moon is encouraging you to see the widest possible picture; to think systemically. I suggest you do this as you solve every seemingly small, separate problem. Look up from what you’re doing and consider the total circumstance — the human as well as the technical; the psychological as well as the emotional. If you are noticing a world in crisis, it’s about the lack of faith in love, and the expectation of betrayal. The people around you need more emotional contact, though they may seem to be indicating otherwise. That contact doesn’t need to drain you, though there are several distinct stresses on your energy at the moment. Contact is just that — it starts with hello; with a basic acknowledgment of existence. It includes being somewhat consistent, even a bit persistent, making sure that others know that you care and that you have their best interests at heart. They may not seem appreciative, though I assure you that they are.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 #936 | By Eric Francis

If any children or young people around you are acting strangely, look at what’s in their environment, particularly their media environment. I suggest that you pay attention to this for the foreseeable future. In many ways the whole thing seems out of control — you cannot walk into a restaurant without being pelted by five flat screen monitors. There may, however, be specific things to look for — games, websites, applications. Nearly all films coming out of Hollywood are designed to manipulate and undermine self-esteem. Then they are impregnated with violence and images of superhuman power. I don’t have kids, but if I did, with rare exceptions, I would not be taking them to the movies for the latest thriller. Don’t come down like an authoritarian, though. Instead, do a survey of the media intake of the kids. Have a clue what it is. You will have a lot more influence if you can add in positive factors: books, music, recorded books and other carefully selected materials that have a purpose besides entertainment.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for February 2013 | By Eric Francis

You seem determined to make sure that others take full responsibility for themselves; but don’t push that too far. To do so would be to take on the burden of their taking responsibility. Also I suggest you check out the ways in which you’re involved in any situation that would call on you to take this particular form of leadership. I propose that it would make more sense to help facilitate cooperation. You can do this best by helping to identify points of common ground. Yet you may also be the one most clearly perceiving how the group mind is working to slow down or stall progress. There is a source of fear in the environment, perhaps involving a theme of competition or separate interests, and it’s being picked up by others — this is the most useful factor you can help mitigate.

Planet Waves Monthly Horoscope for February 2013 | By Eric Francis

Don’t be too hard on yourself, and make sure that you depend on the presence of others in your life to take care of you as much as you take care of them. They are there and they are willing to help. However, don’t expect anyone to read your mind. Be as clear as you can be about what you want and need. This may bring up some interesting emotional dynamics for you. These in turn may include various shades of wondering whether your environment really is friendly, whether you can trust people to support you, and so on — most of which have no reality in the present, but are more like relics from ancient history. It can be challenging to see these relics for what they are, as they tend to show up in consciousness as something real and immediate. It’s just not always obvious that they are some kind of memory fragment bubbling to the surface, pretending to be real now. The thing to watch out for is projection: for example, ascribing your own fears to someone else. You may need to be vigilant about claiming what you own, so that you can be clear about who others really are and what they are offering you. If anything gets in the way of an authentic exchange, check for projection. If you can keep this boundary clear, an unusual alignment that happens around the 10th of the month may represent a meaningful turning point not just in one relationship but in how you experience all relationships.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 #934 | By Eric Francis

The Sun and Mercury enter your opposite sign Aquarius this weekend, which places an emphasis on your relationships and in particular your relationship to groups. You’ve already been on this page for a few weeks, and I would remind you that you’ve already worked out most of the challenging issues, the bumps, the grinds and the potential points of contention. Therefore, the Sun and Mercury coming along are a likely point of empathy, cooperation and progress — I suggest you run with this opportunity, and set about doing all the things you know you cannot do alone. You understand the personalities involved, and you have a good sense of what you want to happen. Here is the key — creative leadership. Initiate the ideas that focus the goals. Set the goals that actually constitute progress. Count on your intelligence, that of the people around you and be the one who openly has faith in everyone else. It’s a great role to have on the planet, and you happen to be the one who has this assignment.

Weekly Horoscope for Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 #933 | By Eric Francis

It’s time for some deeply ingrained patterns to change, particularly involving the work you do. You have a leverage point right now; key elements of the system within which you operate are at maximum stress. As designed, the system cannot take the pressure it’s being subjected to. But don’t wait for things to ‘get better’ to make the changes that you need to make; the whole point is to redesign things to accommodate — or better yet, eliminate — the kinds of tension that you’ve been experiencing lately. Several factors are involved, including communication, how resources are allocated and understanding the nature of commitment as it exists within your environment. Speaking personally, you have to get out of two modes: one is “this is how it’s going to be because this is how it always was” and “we need a rigid structure or set of rules to solve this problem.” In truth what you need is flexibility — on everyone’s part, though you’re in the leadership role when it comes to setting that particular example.

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for January 2013 | By Eric Francis

Building your foundations is directly related to your healing process. This in turn is directly related to your ability to structure your work and accomplish what you set out to do every day. These are practical matters, not merely emotional or intellectual notions. Your mode of development and expression is as much in physical space and time as it is an ‘inner reality’, to which healing is so often relegated. You’re at the beginning of this particular process; what you’re doing now is building the foundation for much that will follow. There is a relationship between your physical space, your emotional space and your growth process. One theme is how you define security, and this is rapidly evolving. That at the moment it involves the space you occupy conceals a deeper truth — the one about the roots of your soul.

Planet Waves Monthly Horoscope for January 2013 | By Eric Francis

One root of the word integrity is in the concept of wholeness, and another line stems from untouched or pure. Yet we have all been touched and none of us is pure in any meaningful sense of the concept. Is it possible for anyone to have their wholeness, after having been through as much as we have on Earth? That is your quest. As you reconstruct, recover or possibly create your wholeness for the first time, you’ll encounter the feeling of being through much that has threatened it. If you know that, you’ll experience an easier and more satisfying journey. Wholeness for you means connecting the person you are on the inside to the person you show the world on the outside. This implies revealing some of what has previously been contained in the shadows, so that you can make peace with it, and have some evidence that you’re loved and lovable despite any perception to the contrary. This is a year when you will be making contact with your deepest sensitivity, and that means bringing your healing process into every aspect of your life. It means recruiting everyone you consider yourself close to as allies, and understanding that there’s a connection between your relationships and how you feel about yourself. Nobody can ‘make’ you feel safe, though people can assault your sense of safety. You need, therefore, to be selective about who you let into your life, and more precisely, why you invite them into your heart or your home.
