I’ve always admired William Herschel for being the astronomer who, in 1781, recognised Uranus as a planet and, fittingly, helped extend the astrological cannon beyond its former limitations to include “the very unexpected”. What I hadn’t realised was that he did all this before his birth here on planet Earth, a truly remarkable achievement as even Madame Blavatsky would agree.
