Such an evocative photo; would make a fantastic writing prompt or set for a theater stage. (Confession: I love seeing into windows of houses on evening walks, and this photo makes me want to know what is behind those curtains so desperately!)

I share that desire. I love looking into windows at night, as if every window is a scene for a different play. I want to know what stories are being enacted in other people’s rooms.

Ah, yes — the stories! (And I admit I also just love seeing how other people decorate their homes…I tend to feel like I only ever get mine partway to something that truly feels “right”.)
