Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aries weekly for July 8, 2005.

You need to decide if you feel insecure or daring. It’s torture feeling both, and really, I doubt you’re actually feeling insecure. What I would guess you’re feeling, from the look of the New Moon chart this week, is the sense that you really want to take a chance but that there is a security factor to which you must attend. If you can start with that and work your way forward, you may find that any sense of a divided mind eases off. In fact you are in a safe and protected environment, and you’re unlikely to take on anything that exceeds your level of actual responsibility.

Sometimes when you have a concern about money it helps to drill right in and tackle the subject specifically. Other times it helps to work on other, related issues. It would seem that the financial part of your life will take care of itself if you keep everything else moving, and in balance. Such as your ideas, for example, and your work flow, and your ongoing plan of taking better care of yourself. By now you already know the benefit of honoring sex as a means to wellbeing, with the approximate value of oxygen; keep reminding yourself about that and take every wholesome opportunity you get to share and explore. As you do, feel your sense of flow and movement develop and deepen. If you catch the hint that you’re in the right place at the right time, pause, slow down, and appreciate that fully. One good thing leads to the next.

I’ve never read anywhere that Cancerians are wheelers and dealers, but you do know how to get the job done, whatever job it may be. That being said, your ideas about money are as socialist as anyone’s. You live on a planet where it makes sense to take care of people. The angle of your chart involving shared resources, investments and business deals is in exceptionally rare form. You are learning a lot, and getting your sea legs on the stormy waters of the modern economy. You know there are no guarantees. It’s funny — you don’t seem to be fazed. Even if you’re a little fazed, don’t worry about it — keep being creative, approach people directly, and be mindful of the timing. I suggest progress with discussions and research only through March 1, and not sealing any deal till the Sun enters Aries March 20. Take your time now — you will save it later.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Pisces monthly for September 27, 2013.

You would be amazed, if you could see the truth, the extent to which your choices today are based on beliefs that are many years or many generations old — and which are no longer applicable to the world in which we live. Some of these may masquerade as traditions, respect for the way things are done, morals, ethics and ‘fundamental values’. I suggest you put the lot of it up for evaluation. It’s impossible to question a belief unless you know you have it, so the first step is knowing what it is you think is true. Then take the next step and evaluate why you think it’s true. Question every assumption until it’s a habit, which may lead you to reject assuming anything at all. The very most important thing you can question is anything — anything and everything — taught to you by your parents. Questioning it does not make it, or them, or you, wrong — rather, it’s that once you start clearing the clutter, you will discover windows and doors, and the light and fresh air they allow into your awareness is known as a vision. I don’t mean this as a metaphor, but rather as a direct idea: what has the strongest potential is what you can actually see, and visualize, down to the details. Visualizations might ‘come to you’ or you might construct them like a draftsman makes a drawing. Either way or both — have at it.

You can now see an old problem from a fresh perspective, and with the benefits of experience. You’ve figured out that it’s not the effort you exert but rather the creativity you apply that matters most. And it was creativity you were struggling with all along, as you went through every old approach to the situation and were not quite able to come up with something new. You can take this a step further, and apply a special method of analysis. There is one factor that, if you identify it, can unlock the next level of success. If, however, you don’t identify it and act on it, the situation could unravel. Identifying this factor will be easy, if you look for it, and if you believe it’s there. It’s probably something you look at all the time, but don’t notice anything is amiss because you like it so much.
