A close partner or loved one is involved in a struggle over right and wrong on a matter that’s abundantly clear to you. But what is true for you is unlikely to be true for them, at least in this instance, and it would be a good idea to steer clear of the issue for the next day or two. What seems to be the matter is actually of far less consequence than the far more important question of fear and how to deal with its often damaging effects. If you don’t do anything to suggest that you are a legitimate source of anxiety, then you’ll be in a lot better position to serve as an objective sounding board if and when that time comes. Besides, from the look of things, you seem to have a lot more pleasant ways to divert your attention at the moment.

Your life is too good right now, you have too many reasons for happiness, to get caught in such de-evolutionary games, or to become the victim of your own (theoretically) subconscious motives. If you have something to say, say it. If you want something, ask for it. If you’re feeling lonely, pick up the telephone. Just be you. Don’t worry.

One purpose of this past Tuesday’s total eclipse of the Sun in Scorpio was to blow through what felt like a glass ceiling that has held you down for so long. Yet what was this thing exactly? It was anything but transparent, so glass really isn’t a good metaphor. This was really about coming to terms with the darkness of the world, including some of your worst fears, your struggles with authority in various forms, and your fear of your own power. You have a tendency to whitewash the world in a philosophy of love and light, yet this doesn’t do anything to change the reality of a planet obsessed with control, survival and scarcity. The authentic expression of goodness depends upon a root into grief and suffering. Generosity depends upon awareness of the ways people deny one another. Freedom demands that you know how fragile freedom really is, how few people it actually exists for, and how much responsibility it entails. If you can do this, you will start to make contact with the true nature of trust.

Seen one way, the focus of your life is on communicating your feelings, and slipping into a way of being where that comes more easily than you might expect. By ‘feelings’ I mean your point of view, your desires and the sensation of what it’s like to be alive. By ‘communicate’ I mean with others, though more significantly, with yourself. While I would not want to deny anyone consciousness, it often seems like we live in a world where many people have no idea what they feel, and I would say that most humans would be a lot better off if they did. You may, at first, experience the transits this month as magnification or exaggeration. If so, that’s an invitation to pay closer attention to the nuances and the cycles that seem to run your emotional experience. You still seem to have a disagreement with yourself over something, a potential grudge, judgment or inner dilemma where there may indeed be two sides of the story. If so, I suggest you get those two sides into a discussion, perhaps even a negotiation. Do your best to understand both points of view. Neither is strictly true; neither is incorrect; the two added together don’t tally up to the truth. Yet a new depth of understanding can emerge from an extended inner dialog, particularly if it’s gentle and emotionally grounded. This is as much about what is true as it is how you feel about it. Listen to your mind and your body.
