Today’s Oracle takes us to the Gemini weekly for April 20, 2012.

Over the next few days, you may get the feeling that you understand your fears better than you ever did. These may arrive in waves of psychological insights that shed light on certain factors from the past. When this process is flowing, you’ll be able to make connections to certain elements of your experience and your behavior patterns in this era of your life. Looking at your solar chart, I would propose a few questions. To what extent are you carrying around someone else’s sense of loss, disappointment or grief? Can you see how this has shaped your life? Your life is about what you have to offer. The more you offer what you have, the more you will discover what you possess. One of the few ways to feel safe is to experiment with the feeling and see what happens. I know this may seem like doing things backwards; you might think that one acts safe when one feels safe. Feeling secure is a matter of experience.

The Saturn-Pluto conjunction is separating, but still strongly influencing our experience. While this event will happen two or three times in the lives of most people, this particular instance is a moment of convergence and reckoning for the world and for us as individuals.

We don’t like to think of it this way, but there is a relationship between the two, it has many expressions, and we all experience them in one way or another. There’s an element to your astrology this week that reminds me of a drain of violent impulses from your emotional body. The chart feels as if pressure is being released from your psyche, and one way that can express itself is the healing of dualism. Part of what pushes sexual feelings into a violent dimension, and indeed all of human emotion, is the perception of difference, which extends one more layer into duality — an us versus them feeling, or me versus the world. The challenge of your current astrology is about relaxing and experiencing some element of the common ground we all share, from moment to moment. Distinguishing ourselves from our parents can take a lot of work but at the end of the day this is the only thing that can rightly be called human progress. Or perhaps it’s better to say that those people who actually make progress who succeed in growing and who adapt to the world in healthy ways are the ones who have successfully dealt with the many unresolved and leftover issues that their parents passed along to them. When faced honestly these issues may seem overwhelming. There may at times feel like there’s no escape from what is so firmly entrenched in years of struggle. But you now have the strength the integrity and more than anything the motivation to make sure that you are the last generation where certain qualities of your family have come home to roost. Then as your reward you get to do something far better.

Watch business negotiations carefully this month and, for that matter, personal negotiations. Keep a notebook and keep track of what you exchange, how your worth fluctuates on a day-to-day basis, and how what you believe about money fluctuates probably a bit more frequently than that. Keep track of how your notion of your worth in the lives others changes. And do observe your thoughts. Have you ever had the notion that ‘one idea is all it takes’? This is actually true. Most of the great things that we see in the world, the helpful, the profitable, the ingenious, the true breakthroughs, are all born of a single idea. I would add, one idea, the right idea, for which you will need to be attentive and keep sifting, and listening to your intuition; that one idea is all it takes, and just the right quantum of energy to give it life.
