You appear to be in some kind of struggle between work and relationships, manifesting any one of several ways; for example, as something within working relationships, or between your ‘work life’ and your ‘relationship life’. Actually, it looks like what you’re grappling with is insecurity. In other words, with doubt, with questioning yourself, and with the feeling that your apparent limitations will never allow you to accomplish anything truly significant. This is more likely to be an issue if you actually want to do something meaningful, so you can at least credit yourself with that. I suggest, in everything you do and feel, that you ask yourself: is this supporting my purpose, or fighting it? That will open two doors: contact with your sense of mission; and assessing everything on a simple metric — if you remember.

The role of money starts with making sure you and the people close to you have enough to eat — and a dry roof over their heads. But it does not end there. Money can in fact solve many ills that people face, but it needs a guiding ideology to do any good at all. Generally that is known as a ‘value system’. You have both an opportunity and a need to take a level of moral leadership in a situation that can, in fact, be easily rectified using your available resources. But more depends on your guidance. You have struggled through a similar situation recently and remember what it’s like to be there.

Creative process is rarely straightforward. It does not, however, follow that everything that runs a convoluted course is creative. Yet what you’re involved with right now is something calling for an intuitive, innovative and even artful approach to the question. Note that applying such a perspective is likely to come with a series of breakthroughs and then phases of effort at applying what you’ve discovered. Keep working in layers and your idea will gradually take form. If it involves risks, consider that those are most likely to be intellectual ones. If you notice when you are thinking the way you’ve always thought, you will be that much likelier to notice when something different happens. If you apply any idea on an experimental basis, remember that uncertainty is an important part of the process.

You seem to be trying with all your energy to get beyond an issue that has been lingering for years. There is an optical illusion quality to this: some ways you look at the situation, it seems entirely to your benefit. Other ways you look at it, you see a lingering problem that defies rationality, communication or normal means of effort. When one feels true, the other doesn’t exist; and it makes no sense that something could be helpful and detrimental at the same time. As you move back and forth between perspectives, ask yourself where the process is taking you. Are you learning anything from considering the different possibilities? Are there circumstances you’ve noticed that present a tendency toward one viewpoint or the other? What if you were to get out of your own way?

But other activity suggests that you may be feeling equally insecure, and one definitely has the power to subtract from the other; you are only as safe as you feel. So you would do well to raise the bar on how you feel, which will change the way you perceive the world. It would help eminently if you could give up on an old grudge that is doing little other than burning holes in your head and making your house feel like less than home.
