You’re getting an invitation to new adventures. The thing about adventures is that they’re not predictable, and there’s often a mix of experiences — though as you’ve learned in the past, it’s silly to let that stop you. It seems like one challenge you’re facing involves acknowledging what is past, and allowing it to be so. Any factor of ‘this cannot be’ or ‘I cannot have this’ is very likely the result of your reaching backwards, rather than embracing the future with an open heart and an open mind. There is also a fear factor involved, or rather what more accurately looks like the fear of fear. Said another way, negative expectations always work against you. While it’s a good idea to ground your positive expectations in something solid, the negative ones serve no useful purpose. They do reveal something useful about your relationship to history, or what may turn out to be ancient history.

Often people price themselves out of the market, demanding so much assurance that an authentic experiment or encounter with the unknown verges on impossible. In these days and years of your life, you’re in one of the most radical processes of self-reinvention that you’ve ever been through. You’ve reinvented yourself in the past, but never so consciously and with such focus as you’re doing today — and that requires an open mind, and being open to experience. It means being open to different kinds of agreements with people than our culture sanctions, including situations that are open-ended and not pointed at a distinct goal — except for one thing: self-awareness, which might even become mutual awareness.

It is so good to see that life is turning around for you and if you feel that it is not please have faith. For years I have plotted the Sagittarius charts and wondered why it was so difficult and squirmed to find the words to express hope caution and possibility so that I could actually convey these things to you. It always seemed that your real struggle was not originating from the outside though it rarely seems this way when we are in the thick of it all. But now you can see the power beauty and freedom that are available when you make contact with the inner being who has been trying to reach you all along. And I suggest that when certain outer crises just vanish like smoke don’t ask why just respond to life’s invitations as you feel appropriate and remember everything is an invitation.

In the long story that is your life, this month presents you with an unusual development. I suggest you abandon judgments about things like pride, being a show-off, seeming like the queen bee, or charging too much for your wares. Forget it. Come on at full strength, in the full flush of your power. Then, prepare for some kind of humbling experience that puts everything into context. This could be a meeting with a person whose authority you respect, with an institution or organization that recognizes who you are, or with some kind of limitation with which you have to contend. Whatever happens, it begins one way and winds up another way: you’re likely to start off feeling quite uncomfortable, and end up feeling like you’re in exactly the right place at the right time.

Aspects this week suggest you’re involved in heroic efforts to set yourself free, though do you feel free yet? Your emotions seem more willing to go there than your mind. This said, I suggest you study the nature of that particular instrument. Your mind is not you; it’s a tool that you can use to navigate through time, space and potential. Your mind often seems to ‘think its own thoughts’, contradict your feelings and send you odd messages; and it would be distressing if you confuse that entity with ‘yourself’. Part of how you can tell you’re doing this is because you are either obsessed with the past, or with ignoring the past. Either way it amounts to the same thing. You seem intent on denying the fact that you’re angry about something, and I propose this is no formula for freedom. But admitting it is a great place to start.

You may have one idea about how you feel, and you may sense that it’s not going to wash with somebody else. You know, intellectually, that your feelings are your feelings and nobody can change them, or in truth, change you. Except, of course, for you. The question is, why would anyone want to change your mind? And in the scheme of things, are you putting a certain priority you have involving your security or emotional stability above some other vital factor? I’m not suggesting you change your mind. I’m only asking if you feel that your priorities really are in order. If they’re not, you can always change them.

How far are you going to take this self-esteem crisis? You can go all the way, or you can follow a calling that is obvious, but which you appear to feel you don’t deserve. I suggest you question the issue of deserving itself. Who set the standard? Is there some kind of Federal Deserve Board? If there is one, and if I get a seat on it, I will vote unanimously in favor of whatever it is you think you don’t deserve but really want. And if it matters, a lot of planets are voting with me.
