You seem to be struggling with the effects of recent astrology, but the storm is clearing. You need to play it very cool today because more is developing than you currently know. Someone seems to want something from you, and expects you to make a sacrifice. They are taking advantage of an inherent quality you have, which is your value of the life of the community and your dedication to something larger than yourself. What you must do is parse out the extent to which someone is serving their own interests under the guise of serving those of others, and then decide what to do with the information. I don’t advise you to make anyone prove anything; work from the available information. You have the right and indeed the privilege to make the decisions you want and need to make, based on what you perceive as meaningful. You have a right to give what is yours, that is, as long as you really perceive it as such.

You have reached a breakthrough point in your self-confidence. It’s about time — for how long have you gone through the gyrations of mental obsession or subtle, gnawing anxiety? Or fear that you’re not good enough or talented enough? The human mind is like a pipe bomb. Its power is not created merely by the heat and pressure of the explosive but rather by the containment that surrounds it. Breaking free of this containment releases your energy and provides you with a sense of both identity and of mission. But you don’t need to do this with explosive force, though even a little expression of focused power will reveal just how much authority you have in your life. I will say this: the astrology of the next few days suggests that you be gentle with the people around you. Your words and even your emotions have an influence that you may not recognize and won’t be able to feel immediately. When in doubt, understate your case. Express desires rather than demands. Easy does it.

Actually, you don’t have so much to do that you need to stay busy every moment of your day, and I assure you there’s an easy solution to any task or puzzle you may face. Therefore, take the easy way rather than the hard one; the more energy you exert, the more likely you are to get caught in a bog. Let things take care of themselves as much as possible. This week, they really will.

Business and financial arrangements need to be conducted with a measure of precision, which is often an indicator of their integrity. And this, I suggest you need to pay attention to closely. There will be a tendency for events and situations in your life to magnify, and it’s vital that you pick and choose the ones you give energy to and the ones you let go of. Read the signs; respond accordingly.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio monthly for October 2015.

Messages coming from your solar chart suggest you’re being called on some bold adventures. Yet you may be feeling some tension between your desire to create something beautiful and your fear of being judged or seen through, or the feeling that you’re faking something. The only way to get beyond that kind of paradox is to take a chance on yourself. At a certain point you will need to decide that who you are is beyond judgment and reproach, which is another way of saying that you’re not worried what people think about you or what you do. But you cannot have it both ways; you can’t transcend judgment and also respond to people as if they’re your parents. Therefore, if you’re going to create something, or feel something, you would need to give yourself enough space to feel and think and be, without stepping in as your own critic before you’re even finished. An example of this would be choosing not to do something because you know it won’t come out well. The way to take another path is to allow yourself to be guided by your own curiosity, without concerning yourself in advance with what you will find. Rather, take each discovery as it comes, and consider what it teaches you; consider its particular pleasure or invitation to something deeper. The art studio and the gallery are different things with different purposes.

Your current situation is intense and seems to verge on disastrous, but it’s not nearly as unstable or unfortunate as you may think. The world is an edgy place right now, and people around you are going through their own trials, tribulations and transformations. You may have the creepy sense that there’s no escaping a certain situation into which you are being slowly dragged or seduced. But an escape route will open up within seven days time, though it has more the feeling of a golden parachute. By that time, you may not be the least bit interested in using it. Meanwhile, consider that what happens during the interim is simply a thrill that money can’t buy.
