Planet Waves Weekly Horoscope, March 5 – March 12

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries (March 20-April 19) — It’s step-up time for everybody in general, but most of all you. What is required is not beyond what you have to offer. Indeed, the frictionless ease with which celestial lights appear to move should provide you with an example to follow and a way to know you are on the path that suits your own progress best. It is not so much the path of least resistance for you as it is less resistance from you. Instead of struggling to sustain what is no longer appropriate, you will know your personal evolution is proceeding apace if life gets easier and getting along is less work. You might want to start on this path by ascertaining where others would like you to take more responsibility, then acting to do so while avoiding any temptation to claim greater credit. — by Len Wallick

Taurus (April 19- May 20)

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Going off is no way to go. Not for you, not now. You have it in you to convince the multitudes simply by being soft spoken. Neither is there any need to brandish a big stick to get what you want. In a loud world, your whisper will not only be heard, it will be welcomed. In a violent world, your ability to gently and instructively persuade will move others to further your ends — even as they pursue the simple rewards dealing with you has to offer. Rather than rigidly defending boundaries from real or imagined slights, give offense no place to enter by not responding in kind. Instead of protesting apparent or illusory assaults on your pride, decline to dignify that which does not become you. In that way you will better become what others want to be. — by Len Wallick

Gemini (May 20- June 21)

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — If you feel freer, it is because you are receiving astrology’s message loud and clear. If you are feeling confined, it is probably because you are listening to an old tape recording made by influences that have either relaxed or moved on. The way is open to ascend to what you have always been. It is no longer necessary for you to stoop to what was never truly you. Let the dynamic potential of actually being abundance in the flesh encourage you. Decline to let unworthy notions of scarcity deter you from growing into a more fecund manifestation of charismatic creativity. There are so many relationships you have yet to engage with. There are too many lost memories you need to recall. For you, being more is simply refusing to be less. — by Len Wallick

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — You have no doubt grown in the eyes of at least some others this year. Your sphere of influence has almost certainly expanded in proportion to how you have manifested yourself. To continue on what appears to be a fast track toward evolutionary leaps and bounds, you must first eschew any practice that would subtly sabotage the solid steps you have made not to be taken for granted any longer. Be present to the fact that no longer taking yourself for granted is the foundation upon which you can build not only a better reputation, but also a better life than any previously imagined. Also, please appreciate those who not only express their appreciation, but also look up to you in order to better understand betterment. — by Len Wallick

Leo (July 22- Aug. 23)

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — Patience really is a virtue. It is rarely appropriate to move faster than the lights in the sky. If you are going to be moving ahead of the ambient light, you had better be a light yourself. Even if you should choose to illuminate the way, you would still need to proceed so that the less enlightened can keep up with you. For it does nobody any good if you leap forward only to be alone. The drive for recognition that so often motivates you would be wasted if you did not serve to lead. Leading implicitly means moving as part of something rather than simply moving apart. The best lead horses don’t need blinders, only focus. Expand your discipline, and your horizons will expand in due course. It’s not necessary to force matters to forge ahead. — by Len Wallick

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sep. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Being a good witness to and for another is among the highest callings to service. Holding space for others is perhaps the most dignified way to live. Astrology right now indicates that both offering service and exemplifying dignity are crucial to your own best interests at this time. Therefore, it is important to recognize which perceptions now serve nothing and what responses are in fact undignified and unworthy of who you now are. After all, an ounce of proactive self-affirmation is worth a pound of reactive self-criticism. Let your every perception be more clear by asking yourself whether you are witnessing what is present instead of allowing the here-and-now to trigger what you witnessed in the past. Let your response be healthier by holding no space for grudges. — by Len Wallick

Libra (Sep. 22 - Oct. 23)

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — While you tend to show your love very well, it’s possible you could do a better job inspiring others to love you. Making yourself lovable means more than just buying drinks for your circle. Being lovable includes being seen by everybody as the person without whom the circle would not be complete. Providing more for others to love does not entail gaining weight; it requires not throwing your weight around. You cannot trade money for affection, but you can endear yourself to others by increasing your capacity to produce other forms of support without expense to yourself. You cannot conjure up a spell to inspire affection, but you can receive appreciation in return for nourishing aspirations and creating conditions wherever you go that will cultivate creative ways of attaining those aspirations. — by Len Wallick

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — Your imagination can be your greatest strength only so long as you do not allow it to be your greatest weakness. Those of your astrological persuasion are among the select few who harbor the greatest potential to exercise control over imagination rather than have it exert control over you. It’s not a talent you are given wholly formed. Instead, it is a skill you must develop. It means going deep — both into yourself, and into the uniquely human capacity to first conceive of something from out of who-knows-where and then achieve it here. To avoid being betrayed by your own conceptions you must release attachment to the personal story you have cultivated. It means going back to the beginning, and even before that to a source your intuition knows is worthy of your wounded trust. — by Len Wallick

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — Even as advanced as your consciousness is, the checks and balances of your instinct has never been more important than it is now. As rare and wonderful as sentience is, self-awareness alone will not serve to make or keep you solidly connected with the universe. In order to maintain that connection, awareness must be not lie fallow; it must be owned and acted upon with integrity. Only the advanced form of instinct we call conscience is sufficient to prevent you (or any of us) from proving that anybody is capable of the most dismal delusions fueling the most heinous behaviors. Just in case you and your conscience have been out of touch lately, you might want to re-establish contact soon. The rest of us may need you to know better for us all. — by Len Wallick

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 20)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — It is probably not apparent that the cosmos is grooming you for higher office. It’s about time you knew. All that you have persisted through is about more than just the survival you have salvaged. All that you’ve achieved transcends a need to dig yourself out of a hole or else. The progress you have made in not messing up has served more than just to keep you from getting dressed down. All those who have loved and supported you have in fact been serving the world. It’s been a tough climb for you, but you must admit you are now much stronger. You will need to get stronger yet, but to do so (and as strange as it may seem) you must lighten your load. In the event you are not doing so already, take an inventory of what you need to shed. — by Len Wallick

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — You might be tempted to think that your best days are behind you. You could feel as though it’s time to pass the torch. It is not so. In fact, a very old torch is on its way into your hands. It is nearly extinguished, but still holds a spark so vital as to defy description. To become the proper custodian of that spark you must first rekindle and nurture the inner fire you know and, frankly, love. It won’t be simple. Indeed, the rest of this year may very well either hold setbacks or show your best efforts only to break even. So long as you are not broken, however, the fire you love will ultimately reward you with love received in return. — by Len Wallick

“Think of Chiron as the process of turning inspiration into art and spiritual yearning into healing.”

Dear Friend and Pisces:

As you probably know, Neptune and Chiron are in your sign. Your Pisces reading is available now (this is your last chance to take advantage of the pre-order price) and I’ve focused on these two planets and more. This is an important time for you to understand your astrology — and take advantage of what it’s offering.

Planet Waves
You might think of Pisces as the most sensitive sign and one closely involved with transitions of all kinds.

If you’re looking for a full-treatment astrology service, we have a Pisces package that includes a six-month Core Community Pass and your Pisces reading for just $97.

Chiron won’t be back in Pisces until February of 2061, so get it while it’s hot.

I’ve been working with Chiron since 1994, and have refined my ideas in many discussions with Chiron pioneers Melanie Reinhart, Barbara Hand Clow, Zane Stein and Dale O’Brien — that is, the best of the best.

Even Rob Hand, the Papa Smurf of astrology, has given me some excellent keys to Chiron.

In many ways, Pisces is a natural home of Chiron. Chiron in Pisces is the perfect description of the spiritual quest or crisis of your sign; Chiron is the perfect focusing lens for the subtle, even sublime energy of Pisces.

Think of Chiron as the process of turning inspiration into art and spiritual yearning into healing.
Indeed, Chiron is the patron saint of healing. His archetype emerged at a time when the holistic movement was just getting going — when homeopathy, chiropractic, naturopathic medicine and herbalism were just starting to be accepted as serious modalities. I will relate all of this to your reading.

Neptune presents certain challenges as well, but also offers an abundance of inspiration. That is balanced by Saturn in Sagittarius, crossing the angle of success and ambition in your chart.

Truly, this is the perfect combination of influences. Neptune is adding contact with something seemingly beyond this world, and Saturn is ensuring that you will make use of that inspiration in a useful and tangible way.

Lovingly,

Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — As absurd as it may seem, your lot is to be envied by all beings without exception. To live as a Pisces now is to receive a challenge divine beings would kneel and beg to face. Though you be mortal, uncounted are the immortals who would be overjoyed to trade places with you. Even if it seems your valiant wit and heroic labors are for naught, your efforts are not leading you into an abyss. Everything you are and all you are doing is amounting to something beyond profound. You need not fear the void. In fact, it’s fair to say the void fears you because only you and others like you possess what even galaxies do not: the ability to bring the deepest darkness into the fullest light. To do so you need not sustain belief. You must allow belief to sustain you. — by Len Wallick

Moonshine Horoscope — Virgo Full Moon Edition

Thursday, March 5, is the Virgo Full Moon, exact at 1:05 pm EST (18:05 UTC). This is the Moon in Virgo opposite the Sun in Pisces. (View full chart here) Len Wallick has interpreted this lunation for each of the 12 Moon signs in the horoscopes below.

To read these horoscopes, it helps to know your Moon sign (where the Moon was at the moment of your birth), which you can find out by entering your birth data into Serennu.com. If you know your birth time, that will ensure accuracy — but often you can still be sure of its sign even if the exact degree is fuzzy. You can also read these horoscopes for your Sun and rising signs for additional insight.

By Len Wallick

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries (March 20-April 19) — It’s good to cultivate and nourish your inner child. It makes you a more complete, well-rounded human being. It’s not so good if your inner child runs your life. For those of you born with the Moon in Aries, there is some potential for the ‘not so good’ over the next few weeks. Fortunately, there is something you can do about it. Be with yourself as a child. Give yourself a hug. Let that inner kid know you love and cherish its presence as part of your total being. If your wise, old inner child loves you in return, you won’t have to worry — it will know its proper place in your psyche and behave accordingly. — by Len Wallick

Taurus (April 19- May 20)

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — From what we are led to believe, Jesus resorted to parables to describe his revolutionary spiritual perceptions. That way, the shepherds, fishermen, tax collectors and others he ministered to could understand what he was getting at from their own, relatively prosaic frames of reference. Similarly, you may soon need a parabolic approach for expressing revelations originating in your own lunar consciousness, so as to be understood by others. Therefore, as a prudent measure, take some time for translation before sharing either your nocturnal or diurnal dreams with anyone in the near future. — by Len Wallick

Gemini (May 20- June 21)

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — Here’s to looking at you. While you look at the Virgo Full Moon of March 5, reflect on yourself. That’s because both your lunar sign and Virgo are ruled by Mercury. Also, both Gemini and Virgo share the quality of mutability (mutable signs follow a fixed sign and precede a cardinal sign; that is, they occur in the middle of each season). Yet, because of the shared mutable quality, Gemini and Virgo are at right angles (or ‘square’) to each other on the zodiac. This is good, because looking at a Full Moon separated by approximately 90 degrees from your natal Moon position will give you a perspective on how those who have so much in common can be so different. — by Len Wallick

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Truth can be an aggressive thing. It can root you out like a weed. It might blow you away like a fallen leaf. Truth can also burn, or (alternatively) sweep you away on an irresistible tide. While it’s not possible to predict what your relationship with the truth will be when the Pisces Sun opposes the Virgo Full Moon this week, you might want to prepare for an encounter with an irresistible veracity. Of course, that’s a good thing, because the truth eventually and always wins. Therefore, if you run into an upper-case version of The Truth anytime soon, please remember not to fight it. — by Len Wallick

Leo (July 22- Aug. 23)

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — Being born with the Moon in a sign ruled by the Sun can be confusing. Yet it’s also an advantage. You have a natural proficiency for understanding and resolving the types of paradoxes symbolized by the Sun and Moon on opposite sides of the sky and zodiac (as is the case with any Full Moon). A Full Moon in your neighboring sign of Virgo gives you a chance to leverage into compassion the understanding bestowed by your Moon sign. That’s how you might want to let this particular Virgo Full Moon move you to more fully accept people with lifestyles that differ from your own. — by Len Wallick

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sep. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Patricia Arquette, the most recent Oscar winner for Best Supporting Actress, used her moment in the spotlight not only to give thanks but also to promote social justice. This year’s Full Moon in Virgo is placing all of you born under a Virgo Moon in a symbolic spotlight with a similar opportunity to do or say the right thing on behalf of those who have little voice in the world. Granted, you will probably not have the vast television audience Patricia Arquette had. Nonetheless, an auspicious moment presents itself to you. Do what you can to make the most of it. — by Len Wallick

Libra (Sep. 22 - Oct. 23)

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — While some may be stuck in old stories asking why, those of you with a Libra Moon should envision better stories and ask “Why not?” For you, answering that simple two-word question would begin by being receptive to how you can do better. Beyond that, it would be helpful if you were courageously proactive enough to ask others how you could do better by them. Of course, you must be ready to sort out the wheat of genuinely supportive feedback from any abusive chaff. Don’t let the bastards get you down. Rather, please allow loving souls to show you the way up. — by Len Wallick

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — The blessing of a Scorpio Moon is your ability to drill down to that which many cannot discern because it is somehow hidden. In that sense, you and others who share your lunar fellowship are intuitively capable of resembling the fictional private detective Sherlock Holmes. Now is a good time to put that gift to work by discreetly but actively assessing and appreciating the sensitivities and vulnerabilities of others; this translates into showing greater respect in a meaningful way. If you can turn your innate talents to that one purpose, the results could very well change the trajectory of your life in a very good way. — by Len Wallick

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — This Virgo Full Moon heralds the beginning of a very important time in your life. This year (and all the way through 2017) part of your life’s mission should be perfecting self-examination without self-criticism. There is enough going on in the world to get anybody down. Those of you born under a Sagittarius Moon need most of all to swear off getting down on yourself. By way of achieving your mission, please consider ways (such as seeing a compatible and qualified therapist) to know yourself better. After that, be careful not to withdraw from others, but rather engage the world with justified pride in who you are. — by Len Wallick

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 20)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — Don’t be surprised if others ask you to assume leadership. Many, if not all, with a natal Capricorn Moon are well qualified to show the way. To be the best guide possible, however, is not a skill anybody is born with. Competent captains are made, often self-made. Those remembered as the best directors often have a knack for convincing others of their wisdom, combined with a kind nature. Given what the astrology of this Virgo Full Moon implies, you might want to begin experimenting now with what it would take for others to feel safe, both with you and depending on you. — by Len Wallick

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Hellhounds are not on your trail. What you might feel gaining on you is nothing you need to flee or hide from. In all probability, most of the rest of the world is simply trying to catch up with what the emotional needs of an Aquarius Moon have naturally led you to become. For that reason it is now more important than ever to acknowledge and trust that your deepest devotions have not been misplaced. In all probability, enough of the world will soon catch up so as to provide the sustenance you need. Until then, put your belief in the most productive and secure of all possible places — yourself. — by Len Wallick

A Gift for Pisces: Many Planets in the Sea

Dear Friend and Reader:

The Sun has moved into Pisces, beginning a new astrological year for this sign. As the zodiac’s last sign, Pisces is both the headwaters of the zodiac and the Delta of Venus — the beginning and the end of the River of Night. You might think of Pisces as the most complete sign, the most sensitive and one closely involved with transitions of all kinds.

And now is a time of transition — making an astrology reading one of the best gift options for helping the Pisces in your life move with confidence through the changes that are coming.

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

I am about to record the Pisces reading for 2015, which covers birthdays between Feb. 18 and March 20, as well as everyone with Pisces Moon or rising. We are offering that reading at the lowest pre-order price now.

Here is one of the reasons, in addition to current activity, this year’s reading will be a particularly important resource for those with strong Pisces in their chart:

In one month there will be a spectacular total solar eclipse in Pisces. This is the time for Pisces to understand their astrology — and take advantage of what it’s offering. You are being encouraged to shore up your confidence, to aim high and commit yourself fully to your goals — and your happiness. I also have plenty to say about relationships.

As for the reading: I present two audio segments of astrology, each about 35 minutes long. In the third section, I cover astrology afterthoughts and then a tarot reading.

Overall, it’s easygoing and designed to offer encouragement and help you expand your vision for your life. I’ll include last year’s reading as well, and a live conference call where you can ask me any questions you may have.

You can purchase the Pisces reading at the pre-order price of $24.95.  We offer the best prices for those who get on board sooner. I plan to have this reading done by the evening of Monday, Feb. 23, so the pre-order period will be relatively short.

Thanks for tuning in, and thank you for trusting me as your astrologer.

Lovingly,

P.S. Remember, my birthday readings make excellent gifts, and this reading is for you if you have Pisces rising or the Moon there. If you are born under a different sign, please visit the reading store.

Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — If you have recently achieved some sort of notoriety, please consider how it might be something more than just a lark. If, on the other hand, you have either not sought or not attained a more widespread recognition by now, bide your time and act in good faith. Whether or not you have received pleasant props is not the essence of this moment for those with a Pisces Moon. What’s important is that you see yourself as part of something bigger than you and longer lasting than your life. If you behave as though immortality were possible, it might well become probable for you very soon. — by Len Wallick

Inner Space Monthly Horoscope for March 2015

ARIES –- You’ve known you’re the originator and the innovator for years, though you may not have been recognized as such. Events this month describe a series of breakthroughs. Yet you must be humble about your talents and ideas. Rather than singing your own praises, allow your brilliance to speak for itself. The less you say, the more people will see.

TAURUS — Faith in yourself will pay off, if for no other reason than saving all that energy on worry. Anxiety is just creative energy that has not found a home. The ‘big thing’ you feel approaching is you waking up to how talented and visionary you are. Stay one step ahead of your doubts, and put your ideas to work immediately.

GEMINI — If anyone is trying to convince you of something, take your time deciding if it’s right. All the logic and reasoning in the world is less intelligent than your own intuition, which is currently on the level of clairvoyance. That is a physical response more than a mental one. Your intuition speaks softly and calmly, confident of its truth.

CANCER — You’re a natural artist in everything that you do, even the most ordinary tasks. Apply that idea consciously and you cannot go wrong. Now is the time to be the creative force in your own life. Your long-term ideals not only come into focus, they do so in a way that’s attainable. With love and beauty, you can manifest anything you want.

LEO — You crave justice; you want to help the world, and the truth is you can. The only catch is you must attend to your basic needs first, including cultivating the art of asking. Don’t let any resentments fester. Learn how to speak up for yourself and you will be a much more effective advocate for those who need your assistance.

VIRGO — You must hold others to a high standard, and to do that, you must set a shining example for them. Rather than emphasize human imperfection (of which there is an abundance), tell people what they are doing right, and encourage them to do more of it. What you focus on will increase rapidly; so keep it positive, as a daily devotion.

LIBRA — To be free, you must allow others to be free. Suddenly this may seem like an easy lesson, compared to many times in the past. The thing to focus on is everyone’s common interest in being able to make their own choices. Love can express itself best in an atmosphere of emotional independence, which proves that trust is more important than love.

SCORPIO — You must honor your need to be deeply introspective, and also to be a pillar of the community. Rather than contradicting, these necessities are in perfect harmony. Your inner strength is why you can take a leadership role. Your deepening self-respect is why you can afford to be positive. You are setting a vital example for those around you.

SAGITTARIUS — The theme of this year above all else is getting organized. This is the month you accomplish that. Yet this is more a question of priorities than anything else. Make clear choices and stick to them. Be absolutely confident that you have the energy to make any changes you need to make, and you will be able to move mountains.

CAPRICORN — You’re rapidly developing new verbal talents. Yet underneath that is mental clarity that’s closely related to your intuition. The innovation is that you have the power of words available at all times. Do not hesitate to say what you mean. Use language rich with imagery to make the point. Others will actually get the message that you mean what you say.

AQUARIUS — You have discovered the beauty of not being so self-critical, which has done wonders for you. Take this further and you may discover that forgiveness has a kind of metaphysical power. This goes far beyond tolerance; in forgiving yourself and others as a conscious and intentional act, you’re freeing up precious energy and allowing healing to take place.

PISCES — Pisces has a well-known clairvoyant gift, yet what is less well recognized is its creative nature. You can see the future, but better still, you can weave the future. The visions that you want to manifest will have an easy feeling. Ignore or shy away from all the others and invest in what feels good.

Planet Waves Weekly Horoscope, Feb. 26 – March 5

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries (March 20-April 19) — You go, Aries. You have every reason to be confident. What you have right now is all that’s required to plunge ahead with your most cherished ambitions. Who you currently are is more than enough to excel. To further assure that you are the complete package of efficacious energy, all you have to bring to the table is a sure and certain knowledge of what you want, along with a disciplined focus on getting it. All you need to watch out for has to do with your feet. First off, watch where you step. After that, please try to be careful that you always step up, not on. Don’t be a heel. Stay on your toes. — by Len Wallick

Taurus (April 19- May 20)

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Your native authenticity is the one thing you should indulge to the max going into next month. Other forms of indulgence may also be beneficial so long as your mind is engaged like an easygoing gatekeeper following a simple protocol. There may be times when you feel as though you are walking a very fine line between excessive inhibition and just plain excess. In fact, there is no need to put yourself on a tightrope. Just be true to yourself. At every sensible opportunity, touch yourself in some way, somehow. The sense of grounding that results will likely preclude nearly any possible error. — by Len Wallick

Gemini (May 20- June 21)

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — If you have been listening carefully since the first of the year, a pattern should be developing in what you hear from others. If your listening skills have not been employed to their maximum potential thus far in 2015, it’s not too late to tune in. Either way, pay special attention to messages that would be repetitive but for the fact that the same sentiment is coming in to you from different sources. Even if you have felt disconnected, you are still online. The world is actually flowing right up to your doors of perception. Simply keep those doors open and your appropriate responses will be obvious and easy. — by Len Wallick

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — You may have either experienced or exemplified extreme ends of a broad spectrum in recent months. If that’s true for you, the most useful takeaway is probably a hard-earned wisdom that the truth and/or best consequences are usually to be found somewhere in between. On the other hand, if you have kept to the middle road for a while, it just might be time to get your freak on somehow. Should you choose to accept what might seem like an impossible mission to explore the edge, try getting started by picking one of your boundaries and pushing it. Who knows? You might realize an impossible dream. — by Len Wallick

Leo (July 22- Aug. 23)

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — Granted, catching a fire in the Rastafarian sense may or may not be your style. If it isn’t, now would be a good time to begin thinking about what your style of ignition is. This is not about lighting a fire under yourself, nor about work in any conventional sense — you appear to have all that covered. What we have here is more likely a need to better spark and stoke communications, with yourself and with others. Try addressing that need by regularly taking long walks during which you have short talks, both alone and in good company. Then, allow the walks to gradually grow shorter and the talks longer. — by Len Wallick

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sep. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — You and other members of your solar tribe are in a position both to see more clearly and to feel more deeply over the next few weeks. Maybe longer. This could do you a lot of good. More to the point, the powerful perspective astrology seems to be allowing you could do a lot of good for others. Especially those you love. First, however, look and feel for new ways to love yourself. Accept yourself just as you are regularly. Please yourself somehow daily. Honor your enhanced self-awareness by owning it proudly. Then, act so as to be one with what is uniquely you and essentially yours. — by Len Wallick

Libra (Sep. 22 - Oct. 23)

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — Oh yeah, you got it going on. The balance you so often seek is now almost certainly seeking you. Let it find you. More specifically, something you boldly initiated during the first half of last year now appears to require only one last innovation on your part to result in a triumph. This could be something that, as recently as December, looked as though it would never come to fruition. In order to git ‘er done consider eschewing both perspiration and the “tried and true” in favor of inspiration and innovation. Doing something you have never done before is probably just what the doctor ordered to make and make well. — by Len Wallick

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — It seems as though you have always known when to hold ’em, and when to fold ’em. Evidently, showing your hand is where you get hung up. Yet you know good and well that everybody must periodically reveal what they have held close to the vest just to keep both personal and social relationships moving. So happens the current astrology has you well placed to address your most poignant secrets. You can further your own cause by simply seeking to lie down with somebody as often as possible. Even if it’s just to cuddle, getting horizontal with a good buddy will probably release untold wonders. — by Len Wallick

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — Even if you are not a motherless child, you can easily be excused for feeling as though you are every once in a while. It goes with having been born while the Sun walked on mutable fire. Right now, however, should not be one of those times. If it is, examine your habits, especially those newly acquired this year. Could be at least one of your recent routines has taken you out of a flow of affinity that comes naturally, and is so vital for you. If you have unplugged you might want to reconnect more often to recharge your batteries. If you are not getting the juice you need, seek a better outlet. — by Len Wallick

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 20)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — Consider if you will how the quality of your life would improve if there were nothing to rage against. Allow yourself at least to imagine that there is no such thing as a dying of the light. Envision how surrender might conceivably be an authentic and genuine act of will. You have your reasons, all of which are worthy of respect. Even so, those same reasons are also worthy of examination. It’s not necessary to sustain adversaries, or darkness, or struggle. You have options. You have not come this far to deny yourself choices. Give yourself a chance to win, and you probably will. — by Len Wallick

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Some tough-guy types might tell you trying is lying. Don’t believe them. In your heart, you know every earnest effort makes a difference. Every exertion also makes you better. So, why not avail yourself of the chance astrology apparently now affords you to rehearse? First, think about how to practice without risk. For instance, instead of asking your boss for a raise, begin by asking for more time when you need it. That way, you can practice stating your needs without being so shy. As you get better at stating your needs, you can go on to either higher stakes or subtly honing another skill.

19-March 20) — Throw a party. If you are not a party animal, send out invitations for an afternoon tea. Should tea not be your style, sponsor a game night. Perhaps you are not a night-owl. In that case, ask neighbors over for a weekend brunch. However you do it, it’s high time to have some sort of soiree where you live. If you have roommates, negotiate. Make this your chance to finally clean up if your place is a mess. No matter what, somehow hosting a social gathering of some type holds a dual promise of both living it up and living better long after your last guest has gone home. — by Len Wallick

Planet Waves Monthly Horoscope for March 2015

 Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries (March 20-April 19) — There’s something unusually beautiful or momentous brewing, though you may not be able to focus on it well enough to predict. Plenty has been happening; you have been keeping busy and from the look of things, positive and involved with life. Yet there’s something beyond all that, as if hiding off to the side of another dimension. If you listen carefully you will hear the movement backstage. If you go backstage and look around, you will gain both insight and influence. The way to guide this event is to envision it. Imagine that you have been offered an opportunity to make one significant change in your life, yet something all-encompassing. You may know what you want to get away from, or what you want to replace, though the question is, with what? How would it look visually, and feel, viscerally? I know this is easier for some people than for others; and that most significantly, this involves giving yourself permission to exist in some form other than what you are now. That is the actual boundary that you stretch with a real experience of growth. You are not far from this now. There is some wild momentum moving in your life. The sensation is as if something you will thrive on is about to precipitate, seemingly out of nowhere. But it’s definitely coming from somewhere, or rather someone, and that would be you.

Taurus (April 19- May 20)

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Your charts are blaring out for physical activity, just in time for the weather to ease off a bit. So get physical. But that is not enough; this is a means to an end, and that objective would be tapping your mental agility and a new crop of ideas that has been growing in your heart and soul. You have an imagination that is so assertive and so potent that it can indeed infuse your body with energy. That, by the way, is part of what makes you into the lover that you are, the fusion of body-level with psychic level into one reality, which is you. Your creative process works the same way. In fact it’s the same process. At the moment, many desires and intentions are pushing their way through your consciousness, eagerly reaching for manifestation. There is so much brewing that you might find it slightly unsettling, which could, in turn, be an excuse to avoid it. I suggest you move toward yourself rather than away from yourself. Go in the direction of maximum heat. Follow your curiosity; that is the seed of passion. If you get to the point where you know you’re expressing passion, remember to follow the thread of your curiosity. The two are intimate and necessary elements of the same basic process.

Gemini (May 20- June 21)

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — You have found a focus of devotion and I suggest you trust that. Devotion is profoundly important to human sanity. It may be the central organizing principle of consciousness, and you have it going on strong right now. It matters less what you are devoted to and more that you focus on that and experience it fully. It might be a person, a cause, a spiritual or religious concept or your creative fire. There’s a moving quality to whatever this is, as if the experience transports you somewhere, or summons you from far away — perhaps literally. Whatever it may be, focus the devotion and also the message that you’re receiving, or offering. Concentrate your power, as if in a circle, and tend to it from all sides — like a fire in a freestanding hearth. Look into the flames. There is a vision there, and I think it involves your life calling. True, you may have more than one of those, but this one stands above the others, its roots go deeper and it has withstood the tests of time. Gradually your vision will morph into an aspiration, and that may come to a peak with a long-awaited decision later in the month. Do not rush that. Allow the energy, your feelings and your reflections to percolate through your awareness. Do not wait; rather, tend your flame with care and patience.

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Your visions of the future may be flooding you right now, though it’s essential that you work from the practical side of things. Stick to the matters at hand, and the methods you trust, and make progress in small ways. They are not as small as you think, because each gesture of progress will help you gather your momentum toward some much larger encounter. The key seems to be one thing at a time. One sentence, one line of code, one photograph, one conversation. Let each of these be born with the sensation of contributing to the next. Be especially attentive to details, even if that takes a while. Those details might include color, feeling tone, precision in mathematics and the quality of what you say. Use your senses. Look and listen, and treat everything you touch with the care of a craftsman. As you do this, you may discover that you are working under the guidance of inspiration. Seemingly unrelated activities will emerge as part of a larger constellation. But don’t look for the pattern! Let it reveal itself to you. You know you are edging in the direction of fulfilling some of your most significant goals, and embarking on some new ones. By its nature and the scenes depicted in the stars and planets, this is a mysterious process, and that is part of the fun.

Leo (July 22- Aug. 23)

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — This is a fine time to consider the nature of your agreements and commitments. This applies to agreements that involve an exchange of money, sex or conscious energy. These must be clear. You must be clear. Once you are, you will feel like you’re under far less pressure, as will those you associate with. Begin with an inquiry. As you proceed with this, you’re likely to discover where that clarity is lacking. Pulling things into focus may take a few steps, which will be easy enough if you work through them consciously. Note where boundaries are lacking, but necessary. Notice where old agreements or things taken for granted need to be replaced by new understandings. Notice how your beliefs are influencing what you perceive as reality. There is an accountability factor that will inevitably arise, and that is never an all-or-nothing thing. Accountability is a much healthier concept than fault or blame. It’s subtler and easier to understand in specific ways. This will help you set the terms of your new agreements, which must be designed to accommodate a shared vision of the future. If that shared vision, and shared underlying values, are not present, then that particular encounter may be null. One last thing: having things in writing is the essence of being accountable, to yourself and to others, and them to you.

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sep. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — You possess the truth you seek. Yet you may also not quite feel that way, and be pursuing a course of finding it outside yourself. That is certainly compelling enough; ancient sites, quests and journeys over the sea have been undertaken for millennia, for the purpose of discovering something that is ultimately about oneself. There is an illusion at work in your chart, which may be blocking your sense of what you know, while at the same time projecting that very thing into your environment and onto the people in it. It’s not that the people around you lack worth, or beauty, or intrigue. It’s not that they don’t possess some element of what you want. The value they seem to have is only the value you put on them. The wisdom they have, if you recognize it, is something you match with your own vision and knowledge. Therefore, seek inwardly and you really will find what you’re after. You might discover that the whole realm of existence you see around you is a kind of explosion of your own mind. And thanks to that, you have the ability to go to the source. If you’re going to do one experiment with the world around you, let it be with cause and effect. Trace every effect you observe to its point of origin. Notice the results of every action taken. Those will reveal much that is currently hidden.

Libra (Sep. 22 - Oct. 23)

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — You are being gently tugged to keep your focus on yourself. I say gently, though there’s a persistence to this that has been present for a while; it’s coming into focus now in a new way. As there are currently fireworks exploding in your house of relationships, that may be a challenge, though it’s one that humans have faced persistently through the modern era. I would call this the ‘all or nothing’ issue. It involves an orientation on relating to others that results in a loss of inner focus. This creates the dual self — the illusion of the ‘relationship self’ and the ‘actual self’, which I believe is the cause of most misery and instability in relationships. I think the path out of this is to cultivate the mindfulness to be yourself at all times, attentive to your whole reality. If you find that your relationships dominate your existence to the point where you, or some central experience of yourself, is negated (rather than, say, enhanced), then I suggest you come back to yourself. You can do this before you have to break up with anyone or sign your life away. You can do this all the time, every minute, in the course of which you honor your reality and the reality that you share with someone else. It may feel awkward at first but it gets easier with practice.

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — A Scorpio rising friend told me recently that men sniff her as she walks down the street, and that she finds this annoying. I just laughed and reminded her what a compliment this is — that she personally inspires people to be in spontaneous contact with their primal, visceral nature. That nature is overflowing in your charts right now, brimming and simmering and emanating all kinds of luscious, lusty steam. This influences everything. Whatever you do, whatever you create, you’re going to be doing it with more passion and devotion. It’s as if your very presence ignites the colors and sensations of the world within the minds of those who are near you. Whoever you touch will feel the heat of your soul penetrating their skin. I might say you can trust this, though really it’s just about the only thing you can trust. The dimension of you that is the most refined humanity and that which is the most elementally animal are fused into one right now. I suggest you perceive the world through all of your senses, and your instincts, and your intuition. This will, if you let it, allow you to try things you’ve never experienced; to take chances with people in ways you never have; to dare to touch the heart and soul of the art or artistry that is so essentially who you are.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — You will go a long way to ease the internal pressure you’re feeling by rolling up your sleeves and attending to the practical matters of your life. That might mean sorting out your accounting records for the past year, it might be writing a song, and it might be charging up your camera and doing a photo project. By practical, I mean actually hands-on, doing something that you want or need to do. This, rather than thinking about whatever that might be, or getting frustrated by seemingly competing priorities. If you’re looking for a starting point, choose either the thing you want to do the most, or the thing you need to do the most. Then do it for a while, and reassess your priorities. I’ll remind you that as one born under a mutable sign, you are inherently a multi-tasker. So you will naturally shift from task to task, though what you can master is the art of focusing long enough to have a satisfying experience and move that particular project along. Then you can move onto other things, and return to the original project while it’s still warm. The key is never allowing anything you care about to go cold. Return to things often enough to keep the embers burning. Then when you’re moved to do so, cast all else aside and dive into something for as long as you want. Needing to keep your life interesting is an asset.

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 20)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — This month brings a sublime shift in the momentum of your life, which looks a little like this. Your emotional confidence is beginning to exceed the many changes you’ve had to make over the past few years. It’s as if you’re finally catching up with yourself. The whole journey of improving, repairing, renovating and healing can be a distraction from actually taking the chance and living in some way that you want to live. The process of constant adjustment, evolution and enforced changes can come with setbacks in confidence, or delays. Now your confidence begins to pull ahead of the work that you’ve done. This will facilitate your taking bigger risks, greater spontaneity and overall a greater sense of freedom. Looked at one way, you’re becoming your own inner leader rather than your own inner follower. You’ve been working up to this for a long time. There was likely some event in 2010 or early 2011 that sparked the process, though this kind of psychic or emotional momentum can take a while to gather. You’ve now reached a point where you can no longer live on the same emotional or intellectual scale that you had for many years before. You are pressing open from the inside. In the most ordinary terms, you have the feeling that you know who you are, though this is more than a hunch. We’re talking about actual confidence.

If you would like to hear the first section of your Sagittarius, Aquarius or Capricorn birthday reading — or if you’re curious about what a birthday reading is — I have set up this page where you can listen free.
Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Be sure you have identified the center of your life, then tend to that center. This may be something requiring you to offer yourself fully to the service of someone or something. It may seem to distract you from other goals, though those goals are alive and well and simmering along. There is a higher purpose involved to what you’re experiencing, and in that you can have faith. You ‘re likely to be feeling this on some level. It may be subtle, and you may go through having faith in this service you’re providing, then forgetting that you have it, then remembering again. That is natural enough, though you would benefit greatly from focusing on this thing, what I am calling your center-focus. The process you’re going through is putting you in contact with an aspect of your nature that has always been present, always been part of who you are, but which has not always been accessible in lived reality. The part of this experience that’s really serving your growth is precisely gaining that access to one of your most valuable inner resources. I can see from your chart that you have big plans that go beyond this particular scenario. Notice that you may actually have the space and time to nudge those along. There is a lot you can get done with little more than a notebook and pencil.

A Gift for Pisces: Many Planets in the Sea

Dear Friend and Reader:

Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — Ultimately you can, must and will do what you want, and that may make some people around you nervous. You are naturally susceptible to the viewpoints and opinions of others, and you must not allow yourself to be blown off course by those with strong opinions. It is, however, in your self-interest to have others allied with you and in service of your goals — and self-interest is potentially a sticky topic for a Pisces. I suggest you wash that off and get real about what serves your agenda. The necessary second step is to figure out how to get others thinking on your frequency. I would remind you how persuasive you can be, which in part accounts for others feeling destabilized by your drive and your intensity. For some, persuasion will involve appealing to their altruism. For others, you may need to appeal to what would be profitable for them. Others will best understand the language of mutual benefit. You are blessed with the gift of insight, as long as you can get some distance on any situation or any person. You have this gift for a reason. Tune in and you will be guided what to do, what to say and how to make the best decisions. Your options remain wide open, and there are people who are eager to assist you.

Planet Waves Weekly Horoscope, Feb. 12 – Feb. 19

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries (March 20-April 19) — It’s time to reconcile who you are with who you present yourself as being. As the digital era has developed so rapidly during the past 10 years, evermore people are acting as their own publicists. To some extent this is true for all of us. You have reached a moment of reconciliation, where your image and your reality need to be perfectly in sync, or at least honestly reflective of one another. This is about more than having an accurate Facebook page or Match.com profile. It’s about a level of integrity wherein you actually are who you are. Recent events may have demonstrated certain inconsistencies between image and substance, and the problems they can create. You may not feel comfortable fully exposing yourself. But if that is true, the question is, why do you want people to know some things about you but not others? What goes on what list?

Taurus (April 19- May 20)

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — You are discovering how subtle leadership is — and self-leadership as well. You know that you must be your own best example, which qualifies as authentic maturity. The real revelation is how much freedom that offers you. This includes the freedom both to think and to act, and to navigate the many rules and regulations of society in a way that facilitates your creative mission. You can afford to experiment more boldly on the level of your message. Clearly you have something to say, and if you act on that you would potentially be transgressing certain customs or the expectations of others. That, however, seems to be the point of having anything original to say. Doing so is about neither mischief nor approval; rather, it’s a kind of probe into reality to see what happens. Keep your sense of humor.

Gemini (May 20- June 21)

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — You are getting clear about what you want to do. That, in turn, seems to be based on what you think is possible. So I suggest you consider that anything you want to do is possible, so that you don’t limit your plans. You may need to revise them at some point, though for now, think big. Allow the visionary piece of your mind to roam free and unhindered. This is less about what you want to do and more about who you want to become. Take the chance and consider who that might be over the course of five to 10 years, or even twice that. This will compel you to assume that you will live at least that long, which is part of the vision that you want. There is something else, which is widening your overall sense of scale, of time, distance and your potential. Give it a big stretch and remember, the most important faith is faith in yourself.

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — The Sun ingresses Pisces this week, after a spectacular New Moon in Aquarius. You can think of this as a reminder to keep your commitments to yourself. The promises you make to others are something that you take seriously. Part of what makes you who you are is that you strive to be true to your word. What may be preventing you from honoring your own agenda is some experience of commitment with someone else. Because of the depth of your involvement, this may not be a matter of cutting your ties and moving on. You might think of it as a matter of balance, though it looks more like integrating some of your desires into your life in a more holistic way. This is a pattern where everything supports everything else, rather than detracts. If you take careful and conscious steps, you can accomplish this.

Leo (July 22- Aug. 23)

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — It is likely that you will become much more careful with a business or financial relationship that you may have taken for granted. The potential for mutual benefit is profound, and it is worth the personal investment you have to make to bring that to fruition. What you may be struggling with a bit is the sense of transition, seemingly with no guarantee of the outcome. Yet in most ways the outcome is in your hands. Admitting that fact alone will feel like cashing in on your good karma. Among the other helpful factors in your environment are ideas such as ‘we’re in this together’, and ‘I’ve been preparing for this for a long time’. In fact that may translate to a very, very long time — many lifetimes of training for what you are now doing. When you meet any challenge, remind yourself of that.

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sep. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — As planets continue to collect in your opposite sign Pisces, this will be an exciting week to be a Virgo. It’s as if everything you thought of as responsibility morphs into a reward. Given that, you could say that the greater your sense of duty, the greater the benefit you and others will receive. What seems impossible one moment can emerge into the manifest world the next — so don’t burden yourself with the question of potential. There will be plenty of transformation going on over the next week or so, which is why I suggest you take a loose and observational approach to existence, participating when you feel called to do so. Any transaction can lead to the contact you seek. Yet it’s more likely to be in some unforeseen future form than in its current form, which is why transitions are your best friend.

Libra (Sep. 22 - Oct. 23)

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — If you’re feeling stressed out, or like you’ve been doing one thing too long, I suggest you relax a bit. Take a breath. Take a look at the world around you. Remind yourself that time is always in motion, and that the world is in a constant state of flux. Remind yourself to get out of your own way. Be honest about what you want, and notice how you feel when you do that. Pay attention to any possible superstition you may feel about desire being a hindrance to fulfillment. Notice your level of confidence. And then, watch what unfolds. You may not have direct control over the next few developments of your life, though for now you can afford to say that you don’t need to. Your life is heading in the direction of healing, of connection and of service. Yet that’s just the beginning. Those qualities lay the foundation for many other possibilities. First things first.

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — For you, creativity is usually a matter of confidence. This includes not just the art or music that you may make but also the way you approach every aspect of life. This is one of the deep misunderstandings of existence. I recognize that some tasks seem so boring that there is no possible way to take an innovative approach, such as sorting out a thousand files, shoveling your driveway or entering figures into Quickbooks. But is that really so? The interesting approach to seemingly boring or repetitive tasks can lead to methods and solutions that save time and energy, or that get the job done better. Anyway, most of what you do is more exciting than those things. And I would suggest that this actually does come down to a matter of confidence, and of challenging yourself to remain alert, involved and inventive at all times.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — Don’t let your doubts run away with you. You may feel them, they may tug at your sleeve or at your emotions, but don’t believe them. Just notice them. Be on the lookout for the one that says ‘you are to blame’. That is the shadow form of something much more significant, more mature and that does not involve guilt: you are responsible for how you respond to your environment. It would seem that you are moving into a new level of self-understanding involving your family, in particular, your father’s side of the family. You have been held accountable for many things that have nothing to do with you; they existed long before you were born. Normally these things go unquestioned, because they existed in your environment since before you can remember. Now, they may suddenly come into focus, and I suggest you question everything.

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 20)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — You may feel like something is bugging you but you don’t know what it is. You might be feeling upbeat and able to face the challenges of life, but there’s something that you cannot put into words that’s annoying you. The obvious solution? Try putting it into words. You might not be able to fit it into five words or a page, but if you do The Artist’s Way morning pages routine for a week or so, you will learn a lot. That means writing out three pages as early in the day as you can, and setting the pages aside. After about a week, read them over and see what you’ve got. It’s likely you will have figured out your little thing long before that, and will have discovered that it is, indeed, rather small. But it may give you a big clue to cultivating future happiness.

If you would like to hear the first section of your Sagittarius, Aquarius or Capricorn birthday reading — or if you’re curious about what a birthday reading is — I have set up this page where you can listen free.

Mercury has finally stationed direct in your sign, and hopefully the last three weeks of retrograde have not been too rough for you. But whatever you’re seeking relief from (or insight about) in your life, some of the best astrological guidance on the Internet can be found in your 2015 Aquarius birthday reading.

You can listen to a free preview of your reading here to get a glimpse of what’s in store for you — and to feel how Eric brings himself into these readings.

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

It’s this sense of presence and connection that our listeners respond to, as much as the information Eric offers. Birthday readings from Planet Waves are not predictive; they’re more like illuminating infusions that will inspire you. Recent customers put it this way:

“I now know I can get the last pieces of my life puzzle in place.” — Louise

“I found out how to make myself feel safe in the ways I needed to feel in order to put those animal hooves on the ground and make something happen in the real world time.”

— Jennifer

“I am stunned by your seeming x-ray ability to see into the soul’s unfolding growth. Your insights are tremendously valuable.” — Loretta

Your 2015 birthday reading covers new material, making it the ideal companion to your Cosmophilia annual reading.
It’s also a perfect gift of encouragement for yourself or your favorite person with an Aquarius Sun or Aquarius rising.

This reading is downloadable for multiple listens, and also comes with your tarot reading for the year and access to last year’s reading so you can check Eric’s accuracy. As with other recent readings, you’ll be invited to participate in a live call-in program where you can ask Eric questions about the astrology for Aquarius in greater depth.

You can order your birthday reading now for just $29.95. You won’t get this depth of well-crafted astrology for this price anywhere else on the Internet. Just listen to this free preview to get a taste.

Thanks, as always, for supporting Planet Waves. We wish you all the best and are glad to be serving you in 2015!

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Wednesday, there will be the second New Moon in Aquarius within just four weeks. This is one of the most unusual New Moons I’ve ever seen — happening 1/60th of one degree away from Pisces. If there was ever an event that happened in Aquarius and Pisces simultaneously, this is it. How to interpret this? You are very, very close to accomplishing something, though that something is deeply personal. It’s all about your relationship to yourself. To me it looks like some profound misunderstanding that you’ve been carrying around is suddenly resolved. You have been holding yourself accountable, and then suddenly you may discover that you’re off the hook. This has some positive implications for you; the question is, what can you do, now that you’re free?

If you would like to hear the first section of your Sagittarius, Aquarius or Capricorn birthday reading — or if you’re curious about what a birthday reading is — I have set up this page where you can listen free.

Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — You get a second chance at something you were sure was a lost cause. That this happens may surprise you; you may not have seen it coming, or thought that it was remotely possible. This development may manifest a number of different ways — for example, as discovering an advantage you’d overlooked; remembering something you had forgotten, but that changes everything; or discovering you have the cooperation of your friends or colleagues, when you were starting to doubt that. Either way, there is the feeling of some deeper truth being revealed to you. Whatever happens will provide a boost to your confidence. At the same time, you have this idea that you must take absolute responsibility for yourself. You are better at this than you think and you can cut yourself some slack. As others take increasing responsibility for themselves, you will have a lot less to worry about.

Planet Waves Weekly Horoscope, Feb. 5 – Feb. 12

Planet Waves

Weekly Horoscope for Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 #1035 | By Eric Francis

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries (March 20-April 19) — What is your ideal concept of a group? And if those people got together, where would it be? Most group activities have shifted to the Internet. Your chart describes you planning some kind of collective activity, designed with a specific purpose (rather than only recreational). I suggest you plan on the small side. And keep it original, and a bit secluded. You might think of this as a gathering of people who speak the same language, which might be the common ground of science, literature, art or technology. Imagine if you had the opportunity to fully express and explore some unusual idea with people who clearly understood it. Think of it as a sacred space for that particular interest, no matter how odd or unusual, with the result being a moment of freedom to consider and share your ideas. Try it out, and keep it real (in three-dimensional space rather than online).

Taurus (April 19- May 20)

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — Venus in Pisces is working its way toward a conjunction with Chiron, the planet of healing and awareness. The combination of these three factors looks spectacular, as if you get to reveal or express yourself in some unusual way. The feeling described by this aspect is bold and vulnerable, yet because it’s in Pisces, it has a public quality, extending outward. It would be ideal for some kind of musical or theatrical performance, art exhibition or coming-out party. Even if you’ve got nothing special planned, at least two factors will follow you around. One is that you will have some more-potent-than-average impact or influence on the people around you. The other is that you get some out-of-the-ordinary confirmation of your talent, such as getting a glimpse of what it feels like to truly be recognized. With that in mind, turn it up and shine out.

Gemini (May 20- June 21)

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — Mercury is gradually slowing to a halt in Aquarius, and Mercury retrograde will end on Feb. 11. Normally this would arrive with some turbulence, and you might have to do some rearranging of your agenda next week. However, this event looks more like an opportunity to focus one specific long-range plan. The idea is not to plot out your whole life, but rather to proceed with a specific focus. The way this looks, there is one particular intention that you’ve had, and which has resisted coming to fruition, or been hung up on some issue you don’t understand. If you recognize this description, the thing that the situation is awaiting is your commitment. When you make up your mind and devote yourself fully, you will experience greater faith in your plans. And you may have the feeling that providence, or some power greater than yourself, responds to you in kind. Keep that dialog going.

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — Even if you’re not the spiritual type (which you probably are), I suggest you send some energy in that direction. Use whatever tools or resources you have. Consider ways that meditation or contact with your higher power have brought some result in the past. Tune into the feeling that was involved; for you, the unseen realm has a specific sensation or tone that confirms you’re on that wavelength. This is likely to feel exceptionally positive, loving and potentially erotic. Yet that last attribute can have the odd sensation of sexual one way you look at it, but not exactly sexual the other way you look at it. There are indeed two distinct facets to this, and you’re free to choose either one at any time. The only thing you’d need to do is be aware that the other one exists concurrently. There’s an important metaphysical formula here.

Leo (July 22- Aug. 23)

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — You may feel like you need more of something, or more space, or more time. What you’re likely to find is space opening up within you. Yet to notice that, you would need to focus your attention inward. Think of this as opening up a sanctuary in your mind. That becomes the space where you are the host of external reality. Imagine it’s a room where you invite the people you know and the events you perceive. As you do this, an exchange may open up; something that seemed impossible manifests for you to experience. The more consciously you hold open your inner space, the more you will open up the potential for exchange with others. As for time, take it slowly right now. Part of the sensation of time going quickly is the tendency of modern humans to rush. Cooperation will help; many hands do indeed make light work.

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sep. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Though yours is a mutable sign, subject to frequent changes, you need to guard against rigid emotions. These are most likely to arrive in the form of being self-judgmental. You might respond to that as digging in and claiming your right to say no — which is indeed your cosmic privilege. You might want to claim, at the same time, your right to say yes, and to say maybe. I suggest you guide your choices in a way that keeps your options open rather than narrows them down. The way to do this is to recognize when you’re judging yourself and consciously choose to let that go. The thing about judgment is that it’s connected to guilt, and guilt is the feeling of being convicted without a trial. If you are fair to yourself, you will see your options. If you forgive yourself you will be able to breathe, and choose among them.

Libra (Sep. 22 - Oct. 23)

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — You may be feeling a strong pull in your own direction, which is to say, away from relationships. Yet there is something in one particular connection that keeps you coming back, despite the tension you may be feeling there; despite the tendency of this relationship to shake you up. The direction to go is neither toward nor away — it’s in a third direction, which is a space of healing. Healing is likely to feel submissive and pleasurable, as if you’re releasing yourself to a process of some kind. This may feel like being carried, or transported. You may have the sensation of journeying deep into yourself to retrieve something that you may have lost contact with at some point earlier in your life. When you find it, you will discover a familiar blend of the sensual and the mystical, which is your true home.

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — It will be easy to lead or follow a partner into some rich creative and erotic territory. You may notice that one of you has the capability of going into a state of mind or of feelings that the other does not have such ready access to — but which can be found through the miracle of partnering. This will also work in solo situations, as your inner male and inner female energies have rarely been so wide-open and full spectrum. Allow your imagination to go free. Think of these experiences as experiments, as art projects, as adventures. Let yourself be led out of your typical patterns of sexuality and relationships into something that is unfamiliar and feels daring. What you do will reach close to the core of who you are and influence every other aspect of your life.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — You may be noticing that the more emotional side of your nature has been coming out lately, and it’s about to reach another peak. To my eyes this looks like an introspective creative space opening up within you. This is the part of the process of art or music that’s the most internal, prior to the actual expression. You are in the alchemical dimension where your inner movements and revelations give rise to what you might let out. Honor the inner mystery of creation as it begins on the level of feeling and emotion. Notice the rich spectrum of memories and experiences that might give rise to. Then allow that profoundly personal process to move you into formulating some new idea or form of expression. Keep this close to yourself for now. You do not need to share it, nor are you under any obligation to. Yet it remains yours to share, to offer, and to experience yourself.

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 20)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — There may not be words for what you’re feeling, though you would benefit from finding ways to express it. One contradiction might be that your experience is too deep for words, or too beautiful, or too distant from them. That is the time to find the words, which you may be searching for. You may have the feeling that words will diminish the depth of what you’re feeling or reduce the beauty, or pain, or passion, to an object form. That is a superstition I suggest you challenge. There is something unusual that you seem ready to express, to relate and to communicate about. It’s not new, however — it’s something you’ve been thinking about, feeling and experiencing for years, and which has recently come into a new degree of focus. If you are searching for or struggling with words, I have a suggestion — pictures will help.

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — Mercury is slowing to a station in your sign this week. It’s been retrograde since late January, and the whole process has been in Aquarius. Here’s how I would tell the story, based on the chart: You’ve been in search of something you may have forgotten or abandoned. That something is a way you used to relate to yourself, and it was a beautiful thing; well, not a thing, but a space where you could relate to yourself in a certain way. For example, it might have been the state of mind wherein you used to keep a journal. The journal was important, but the devotion to doing so, the ritual, the honoring of the inner space, was the real gift. It may have been a yoga practice, or a spiritual practice, or even reading. It is something done in a designated space, which served as a personal ashram. It looks more mental or intellectual than it does physical, though it could be either or both. You are very close to that space right now; you are right at the door or you may be standing inside.

If you would like to hear the first section of your Sagittarius, Aquarius or Capricorn birthday reading — or if you’re curious about what a birthday reading is — I have set up this page where you can listen free.
Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — These have been a bold few weeks for you. You are experiencing what it means to have Chiron and Neptune in your sign. Though these are long-term transits, and somewhat well developed by now, they are being lit up by the presence of Venus and Mars. This whole constellation of planets has been offering you a look at your actual potential, and the opportunity to feel what it’s like to be yourself in full-spectrum form. Mercury, for its part, is slowing to a station in a sensitive corner of your chart, which is adding a depth of inner vision unusual even for you. Here is how I would sum things up: You are learning to engage the physical with the spiritual. You are bringing what is normally etheric or astral into some solid form, and you are doing so in a way that’s revealing of what is possible: the beauty of translating your inner world into tangible form. The beauty of real.

Moonshine Horoscope — Leo Full Moon Edition

Tuesday, Feb. 3 is the Leo Full Moon, exact at 6:09 pm EST (23:09 UTC). This is the Moon in Leo opposite the Sun in Aquarius. (View full chart here.) Len Wallick has interpreted this lunation for each of the 12 Moon signs in their horoscopes below.

Aries (March 20-April 19)

Aries (March 20-April 19) — A more public life is a greater probability for you at this time. In addition, you may very well derive significant satisfaction with even an indirect increase in exposure. One possible fly in the ointment, however, is the issue of satisfaction itself. Please understand it’s not a problem to act in your own self-interest. The potential catch is excessive self-involvement. If you want the chance of greater visibility to really pay off, you will need to demonstrate for others how a higher profile for you will result in appreciable gain for them.

Taurus (April 19- May 20)

Taurus (April 19-May 20) — You might want to take stock of how community is manifesting for you compared to this time last year. Consider contemplating the quality of places where you gather with peers. When you find yourself in the company of those with whom you share a mutual identity and/or purpose, are you now more likely to be the host or the guest? Simply getting a conscious grasp of where you find commonality (and how that’s changed) will go a long way toward illuminating how you have changed as well.

Gemini (May 20- June 21)

Gemini (May 20-June 21) — If options are few, consider tracing your choices back to where the appearance of limits began. If you feel on top of the world, think about how to stay there. Either way, time will almost certainly be on your side if you devote a little to the same purpose every day. Should your endeavor be to recover old ground, it’s probable you need only look back a few months for alternatives still available. Assuming your situation is copacetic, you may keep it that way by keeping tabs on where your feet are, and what’s under them.

Cancer (June 21- July 22)

Cancer (June 21-July 22) — From all appearances, you are on the verge of completing some sort of journey or task. Full awareness of what your intentions have been will almost certainly mean closure consists of knowing when to abandon the object of your efforts and move on. On the other hand, if a glimpse in the rearview mirror is only now making you conscious of how far you have come or gone, fulfillment will entail catching up with where you have been, what you have become, and how you are both more and less for your discoveries.

Leo (July 22- Aug. 23)

Leo (July 22-Aug. 23) — Six months ago you may have reaped what you sowed six months before that. If such a scenario does not resonate for you, consider how its complement may be true. Perhaps a harvest of some sort is only now becoming possible. Either way, it’s important to know what side of a cycle you are currently on, so as to contribute consciously to its continuation. Trust your feelings in this matter. If you sense it’s proper to gather in, waste no time lest tangible waste result. If planting seeds seems more appropriate now, bend to it.

Virgo (Aug. 23- Sep. 22)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep. 22) — Give yourself some slack if you are not clear about what you should be doing right now. Doubt and second-guessing are not your friends. Instead, allow yourself to step back until a bigger picture of longer duration comes into sharper focus. Get back in touch with the root values that have always nourished and informed your life. Let yourself remember who you have always been through thick and thin. Once you have reinforced a connection with your origins, you will better know how to honor your soul’s purpose.

Libra (Sep. 22 - Oct. 23)

Libra (Sep. 22-Oct. 23) — It’s understandable if you are reluctant to even think about moving beyond whatever relief you have recently found or been given. You may forgive yourself if you would prefer to avoid further trial of any kind. You have indeed paid your dues. Sooner or later, however, you will need to get paid in turn. Better to make it sooner, and to accept that all of what you have coming to you will probably not simply show up at your door. It’s time to reconcile yourself with the necessity of leaving your comfort zone to collect on karma.

Scorpio (Oct. 23- Nov. 22)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) — Give yourself credit for what you have overcome. You must admit how fears you have recently chosen to confront head-on have dissipated for the most part. Yet, here you are — still in the woods to some extent, and wondering whether to dig a hole. Try climbing a tree instead. It will keep you just as warm as digging and allow you to see so much farther, perhaps even to a clearing. Of course, climbing down and making for the forest’s edge will entail some risk, but if the alternative is being lost, dare you not even try?

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 22)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 22) — If you find yourself bored anytime soon, try a simple exercise. Make a two-column list. In one column list all the ways you feel rich. On the other side, enumerate all the ways you feel poor. Include all forms of material abundance, or lack of it. Do not neglect, however, to itemize intangible forms of both wealth and dearth. Then, put the list away and go about your life, but make a note on your calendar to review your list again come the Full Moon of March 5. What your March read reveals could very well turn your life around by April.

Capricorn (Dec. 22- Jan. 20)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 20) — Look back to late December and try to remember at least one thing that went unexpectedly right. Then, look back to early January and try to recall how at least one thing could have gone far more wrong. Reviving recent memories of good fortune will likely be of great help to you in February, especially if dreary routine or nebulous discontent threaten to get the better of you. You have better things to do than wallow right now. You have momentum to maintain and people you need to inspire. Stay on your roll.

Aquarius (Jan. 20- Feb. 19)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 19) — You should now be able to raise your head and look up from immediate concerns, which have had you so narrowly focused for so long. Look up to see — really see — the Sun and everything beneath it, and you will likely discover something that has been patiently waiting for you. Look up and allow yourself to behold the Moon in a leisurely way and you will probably find something new inside. Look up to those you would like better to understand, and a greater understanding of yourself will almost certainly result.

Pisces (Feb. 19- March 20)

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) — The fruit that ripens last is often the most nourishing. The flower that opens late usually smells the sweetest. If you have had any sense of being behind or somehow less than others, now is the time to see things another way. With passing time, you have grown and will continue to evolve so long as you are not wearied by worry. In the full expression of time your need for anger will diminish so long as you can release attachment to a particular outcome. You are not half empty. Fulfillment is even now at hand.
