There are many ways to solve a problem or learn; seriousness and studiousness are just a couple options. Keeping everything harmonious and elegant can work for a while. Sometimes, though, letting yourself get a little wild is the only way for the breakthrough to come. Dance like you couldn’t give a fig who’s watching, and listen to how you feel.

If you’re tuned in to a sense of the collective need (which seems to be greater than ever), don’t be surprised if you find the placidness of others causes you tension. How could anybody be calm right now? Isn’t that superficial? Not necessarily. After all, it has long been said that still waters run deep. For some people, that’s the natural default state from which they consider the world and their place in it. Others get fired up and need to take external, creative action before they can make contact with a sense of inner stillness or flow. Where you locate yourself on that spectrum could relate to your own family pattern (the micro standing in for the macro). Which means that once you see the pattern clearly, you can shift the metaphorical dance steps of your reactions — and bring a new world into being.
