Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio monthly for January 05, 2017.

You clearly have something to say, though you might try pictures rather than words, or better, music. Your chart is so rich with creativity right now that words might detract or distract. Your solar chart is more about dancing than it is about writing; more about painting than arithmetic. This is an invitation to get out of your head and into your feelings. The moment that you do, a whole world of potential will open up, and you might find yourself in the company of painters, musicians and revolutionaries. You might decide you’re one of them after all.

The Saturn-Pluto conjunction is separating, but still strongly influencing our experience. While this event will happen two or three times in the lives of most people, this particular instance is a moment of convergence and reckoning for the world and for us as individuals.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius monthly for May 26, 2016.

The poet Marge Piercy wrote, “The good must learn to cultivate their anger like fields of wheat that must feed them, if they are ever to win.” One of the unspoken issues of our time is seething rage, what one pundit called “distemper among the electorate,” that (for example) is driving much of politics at the moment. Yet anger, if taken consciously and properly understood, can be a tremendous force for change. Many other emotions considered unsavory and/or politically incorrect can be cultivated and worked with constructively. Really, do we have any other choice at this point? Shadow is only shadow if it’s unconscious, which typically means projected onto others. You are in a rare position to see the deal the way it’s going down — and to do something about it. This will surely be in many small ways, and potentially some big ways. The action piece is about taking accountability, including for what may not properly be your responsibility. You are in a position of leadership, and your example counts for more than you may know. Yet a vital part of that example involves how you move what is inherently frightening, negative, shadowy and toxic to a new level. This is more than about ‘seeing the positive’ in something. Rather, you have the capacity to recognize anything with emphasis behind it as a source of energy, and to tap that energy on your way to changing the world.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius monthly for March 24, 2016.

Be mindful of your need to plan things out. You have enough momentum in your life, and sufficient resources, to wing it for a while. Planning and strategy have a defensive quality, which can cut you off from your abundant creativity. This is a state-of-mind thing. Strategizing when you really would thrive on going with the flow is a distraction, which takes you out of the moment and therefore out of your ability to make decisions based on what is actually happening. If you want a strategy that might work, keep looking around at your environment and ask yourself what you need to be aware of, and what you need to do right now. This is called immediacy. It may seem radical not to dwell on the past or on the future, but it’s not so strange if staying right in the moment puts you in contact with the equivalent of vast wealth — emotional, creative and material — plus a community to support you. Home in on what is genuinely available to you. Notice how generous people will be if you show up and are real in the moment. You might be amazed at all you were missing all that time, but you don’t have to dwell on it. You have what you need, and who you need, right here and right now.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra weekly for February 7, 2014.

The current astrological news involves Mercury retrograde, which may be making it more challenging than usual to keep your composure and your focus. However, for Libra, the more compelling factor in your solar chart takes place on March 1 — Mars stations retrograde in your sign. Retrogrades of Mars are among the most palpable. They can put even confident and decisive people into a state of limbo, because Mars is all about going for what you want. When retrograde in your sign, Mars will have the effect of putting you into contact with the aspect of yourself who desires and who chooses. If there is a healing crisis associated with this, it’s along the lines of being honest with yourself about your desire. It’s also about maintaining a steady keel when you have reasons to doubt — that is, not allowing your doubts to take over your whole mind. The next three weeks of Mercury retrograde will be excellent practice for the real adventure.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn weekly for August 13, 2015.

You seem to be standing on the edge of something you don’t understand. How wide that edge is, and how deep is the abyss, are part of the mystery. Sometimes you feel like you’re peering into another dimension, which might hint at the question about where you are now, and how you got here. This mystery that’s got your attention is in fact you. There are times when it’s more or less compelling, and there are times when it’s more or less easy to avoid. For a long time your inner realm was too hot to handle, or to approach directly. You’ve cooled off a little; you’re dealing with less interior chaos than you have in a while (ponder 2006 through 2012 for comparison). Now it’s time to go in, and face this whole reality directly. But you don’t have to dive off of your ledge. You’re not as unstable as you think. It will be immensely helpful, initially, to consider the differences between inner reality and outer; and to notice how the two seem to transpose between one another. This way you can keep your focus where it needs to be for a while, which is inward; and choose people who understand that, with whom you can take extended inner journeys.

There are so many planets in your sign right now that you might wonder how they all fit. Well, you have a lot of space inside you, and you contain all that potential and much more. It seems the thing you’re craving the most is an exchange with people you care about. Stay open to that, no matter what other factors or commitments might distract you. So mix it up. Get with people, and hang out long enough for something interesting to happen. They have something for you, you have something for them, and this adds up to plenty more than double.

Months of emphasis on this project seem to have gotten the results of clarifying one particular work-related situation. You know you can only do what you can do and that is truly enough. You’re also something of a modern master of applying creativity where most people apply brute force or long labor. Lately you have a way of seeing the simplest idea that connects the problem and the solution; now look at the most pressing situation in your own life and apply the same theory; it will work.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Capricorn weekly for June 28, 2007.

This week’s Full Moon in your birth sign may signal how far you have to go, but I suggest you take the cue as to how far you have come. It’s true, it feels like you’re rowing your boat upstream with a small paddle, but at least you have the boat, and the oars. In truth, you’ve become accustomed to things being one way for so long, you may not even be able to visualize them any other way. Yet a lot is about to change; mainly, you will notice that the little island you’ve been living on is really an oasis of protection from the world’s many storms. It’s true, you’ve been rained on, but the farm is still standing. Actually, I am understating the case: you’ve done a lot better than this.
