Today’s Oracle takes us to the Leo monthly for June 1, 2002.

It is not time to change directions quite yet — not for several weeks at least, and, at that moment (you will know when you arrive) a long pause is in order. For now, there’s more mystery to be unraveled, and more of the rewards of what you’ve worked for, available on your current path than you probably recognize. Clearly, doubt is playing a powerful role in your life. My sense is that your deepest struggle is whether there’s really a place for you in this world: not just any place, but your special place, where you can bestow your unique talents and gifts on the culture. If that is truly what you seek, hold the commitment in your heart as a conscious act. And remember that if your unique place is what you seek, you will have few direct role models, and few who really know reminding you that while effort brings you far, faith carries you the greater distance.

The Saturn-Pluto conjunction is separating, but still strongly influencing our experience. While this event will happen two or three times in the lives of most people, this particular instance is a moment of convergence and reckoning for the world and for us as individuals.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra monthly for April 26, 2013.

You’ve likely been through an unsettling or perhaps tumultuous month or two. Events have challenged you to be flexible, tolerant and to make some peace with the fact that many people are different from you. This also means that you are different from they are. However you look at it, you’re in a position where you have to find common ground with others. You cannot set the agenda exclusively, and obviously you cannot have others set the agenda for you. Without some form of negotiating your way into territory you can share with others, you’ll find yourself at an impasse. This happens when people have intractable values. I suggest you look at your values and decide which are flexible and which you cannot compromise on. Then see if you can encourage partners to do the same thing. You are in a situation where something has to give, and where your flexibility will be called on as a bottom line. That’s why I suggest you decide what you’re willing to give, though while you’re at it, you may want to assess your concepts of ‘mutual’, ‘reciprocity’, ‘exchange’ and ‘understanding.’ In the end you will need to reach a consensus. And any honest consensus always starts on the level of values, which are the fundamental elements of who a person really is. So, said another way, this is about you revealing who you truly are — which implies admitting to yourself who you truly are. And yes, that might be a little intimidating.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Taurus weekly for March 18, 2018.

You must be feeling restless, like you want to burst out of your own skin, or learn how to fly a small airplane and hop across the country 500 miles at a time. You may suddenly decide that something you were certain was true is now a thing of the past, replaced by a much more radical idea. How exactly you handle this astrology is, of course, up to you; though don’t be afraid to be rad and a little wild. Life is not a choreographed event. Life is an experiment, and you will certainly want to live that way. This may require some staying up past bedtime, trying absinthe, trying a threesome, or some other naughty thing that cracks open your idea of who you are and allows some more lavish expression of you to come out. And make no mistake: this really is a “coming out.” Out of that inner closet, out of the past, out into the beautiful daylight.

There is such a thing as being trapped in comfort and this month you may slowly discover that’s where you’re at. Who knows — the feeling could be incredibly cozy and you might have some deep need to cocoon yourself in which case I recommend that you do. I would say though that the one regret I’ve had in common about every place I’ve lived in the past 10 years is that I didn’t spend enough time away to really appreciate it. You might at least want to click on some discount airfare web pages. Ours remains a big world.

In all likelihood, there was a time in your life when the sex was better. You may be remembering that lately; the memories may be vivid and beautiful. (Indulge yourself.) There was a time when relationships were more liberated, or more experimental. Or there was a time when you actively wanted those qualities in your contacts with others. What changed? Well, let’s see, you’re older now. That might account for your desire to have clearer experiences, which is connected to a desire to make better choices. Being older typically equates to a more firm idea of who you are, and that can lead anyone to narrow their concept of what they want — potentially (but not always) leading to deeper and more fulfilling situations. Often people price themselves out of the market, demanding so much assurance that an authentic experiment or encounter with the unknown verges on impossible. In these days and years of your life, you’re in one of the most radical processes of self-reinvention that you’ve ever been through. You’ve reinvented yourself in the past, but never so consciously and with such focus as you’re doing today — and that requires an open mind, and being open to experience. It means being open to different kinds of agreements with people than our culture sanctions, including situations that are open-ended and not pointed at a distinct goal — except for one thing: self-awareness, which might even become mutual awareness.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aries monthly for August 26, 2008.

You should be having no trouble keeping busy these days, but the question is, with what? Your charts suggest that you’re popular at work and in love. Well, popular may be stretching things, but there’s plenty of action, and you can either have dates or your existing date is actually available. Business, however, has that slightly-too-much feeling, and it seems like your inbox is heaping itself full. If I had to guess, this is eating most of your free time. Here we have one of the central dilemmas of existence: the supposed competition of love and work. Your heart says that it’s more important that you have fun, and I would second the motion. There is an escape hatch on the business front, and in a word, it’s efficiency. Do things right so you only have to do them twice. You would also benefit from jumping to a higher level than the one you’re on; you seem to get caught in a mental bog frequently, consisting mainly of your sense of responsibility rather than the work itself. If you prioritize love — not socializing, but actual intimacy — your life is much likelier to come into balance. And there will come a natural limit to the frenetic pace of professional effort that takes effect later in the month when Mercury stations retrograde.

Yes, you are born under one of the most ambitious signs, capable of marshaling your energy like few others can. Yet as I am sure you’ve been aware, you must gather your strength in a new way, to meet objectives that you have yet to fully encounter. If you cooperate, the outcome is certain.

Give yourself a pat on the back for anything you have recently completed in spite of delays or detours. Then, take a look at your hard-won achievement and try to see it as a beginning. Think of yourself as having laid a foundation rather than having completed a structure, and you will be giving yourself a brighter and more stimulating future than you can currently imagine. The key is to start building on that foundation immediately. Part of the construction will involve offering to share the fruits of completion with others.
