The irony of these double standards has been all over social media. Sad, really, how hard this comic hits the nerve.
While I appreciate the irony and satire here, and I strongly (!) dislike Donald, and am supporting Hillary (go Hillary!) – this cartoon is beyond sexist and downright inhumane. Surely, there must be a way to tell the story without resorting to such cruelty towards all white men. I’m a gay white male, btw.
Randy I think you might be missing the point. As an allegedly white, cisgendered, middle-aged and bullshit-averse male, I am sensitive to the bigotry that’s going around — my category seems to be public enemy number one these days. She is kidding.
Yes – and it brilliantly shows the absurdity of it all – once again, Tom Lehrer would have written a brilliant song about it all, along the lines of his song, National brotherhood week.
