Who’s Dividing Us?
Cartoonist Jen Sorensen notices a recurring theme when it comes to the type of ‘unity’ espoused by the far-Right.
Its interesting that on NPR’s Fresh Air today, a Washington Post journalist was interviewed on her new book “I was told to come alone a Journalist Ventured ‘Behind The Lines Of Jihad’ To Interview The World’s Most Wanted. When covering demonstration in Egypt (27 minutes in), she was arrested and feared greatly of being raped. Allowed to use the bathroom, she looked in the mirror and said: “No matter what happens now, its not your soul, its your body but you will not allow them to take your soul.” Jen does an amazing turn around here; makes this everyone’s issue, and adds another. With jobs just barely above the minimum wage, and being part time, the advantages these company’s can get are enormous.
