Some Compelling Encounter Under the Libra Moon

Dear Friend and Reader:

Summary of today’s astrology is “some compelling encounter.” But it could be with someone who has political influence, whether in government or in your company. This shows up as the Libra Moon conjunct the North Node and Pallas Athene.

Modern people (especially those who want to get anywhere in life) must get over their aversion to politics and recognize that it is merely the game humans use to organize themselves and distribute power — even (and especially) in the most casual settings.

Most of the influence of politics is INFORMAL — that is, who you know, and your personal relationship to them. There is another level of having informal lines of communication — the person who knows someone who you can get to without making a fuss.

Remember that people do things the most willingly because they care. It’s not just about duty or responsibility, though sometimes it is. Most of the time, when people take action (corny as this sounds) it is an outgrowth of love, the kind of brotherly love that the Greeks called agape.

It’s important to be respectful to bosses and their bosses and to VIPs — and also to treat them as people, with feelings and who have a job to do. It is possible to be present and attentive without giving the impression of kissing ass. These relationships usually develop over the long-run, in collaboration with trust and familiarity. Be present and be real, and of course, helpful.

Learn the lines of communication and who has trust and allegiances.

Libra + Pallas Athene is also a reminder: appearances count for a lot, starting with neat and tidy, with a touch of beauty.

w/love,

Hi Eric – plenty of great things are available to registered readers – so I can’t complain. But I don’t understand why the daily Oracle isn’t? Not many people comment in this section – but it’s one of the most, joyful and communicative aspects of the PW daily page – and would keep up the continuity of the old website. Just thought I’d post a bit of feedback here. xx
