Today’s Oracle takes us to the Taurus weekly for Feb 20, 2004
The story of your life may be alternating wildly between a true story of love and a false one. Hopefully you’ve got the common sense and self-respect to tell the difference. Here are a few clues and I hope they prove to be anything other than confusing. The true story will burn with a transcendent quality, as if you can see through the veils of reality and can contact a kind of inner devotion that is rare to feel. The false story will feel like you’re being pulled by an invisible gravitational force. It’s ‘supposed to’ be right, but it’s really nothing of the sort. The simplest test is to ask which lets you feel better about yourself.
The Daily Oracle offers a horoscope selected randomly by our Intelligent Archive Oracle program, unique to Planet Waves. It’s also a database of my horoscopes going back to the late 1990s. You can use the Intelligent Archive Oracle to answer questions and give you ideas for how to handle problems and situations you cannot see through. This feature is available to our All Access and Core Community members. See this link for more information.
“The simplest test is to ask which lets you feel better about yourself.”
It doesn’t make me feel better about myself – it challenges me to change and be more true to myself…. and then theres projection.
confusing
Hey Vincent,
Try leaving the projection bit out of the equation for now. Focus instead on how you’re feeling about yourself and your integrity. Get comfortable in your core and then work yourself outward. Do you find that you’re are supported? Do you find conditions to be free or bound by expectations that are not in alignment with your core? Are you leaning toward expectations that arise out of fear or out of curiosity? Do you feel ease and flow, or resistance and struggle? Are you communicating to change someone or to allow the situation to change?
I sometimes feel that “projection” can be tangled up in a lot of “stories”. Rather, if I focus on the positive qualities of a situation or person, that is likely to be what is brought out. Same with the latter.
These are questions I ask myself so I hope you find them useful too!
You have to know how you feel about you first , before making a decision about what is true for you. I am in the middle of this very dilemma and find myself pulling away from everyone who wants to define me, or is coming from their own pain and confusion with advice. I find myself pulling back from everyone, so I can look at the whole instead of the pieces,. Then I will presume I have the knowledge to begin piecing together the parts I gave away and make decisions based on my truth , no one else’s . Not an easy or comfortable task.
