Idiot Box: ‘Net Neutrality
Social and political cartoonist Matt Bors muses on ‘Net Neutrality — or, as Ted Cruz calls it, “the Obamacare of the Internet.” Net neutrality is the issue of whether there should be one or two different classes of website on the Internet. Currently we are under the “neutrality” system. But big players like Comcast, Verizon and Time Warner want to stop that and go to a two-tier system where smaller websites will ride in the back of the bus.
Seems to be turning into a rule of thumb that if the Republicans don’t like it, it’s probably cool – and no doubt vice versa also applies.
By which I actually mean “the opposite”, not vice versa at all. Sorry, I’m dopey.
