Danielle Voirin’s Photo of the Day for 10.23.15

A la santé de ceux qui osent encore - cheers to the health of those who still dare (fromthe series DesCollages). 100 years ago today, 50,000 people (2,500 of them men) marched down 5th Avenue in New York City in support of women's' right to vote. The referendum failed that November, but they thankfully didn't give up or give in, but spent two more years marching and rallying to get the vote in 1917.

Paris-based photographer Danielle Voirin travels the world and documents her experiences in photographs. She takes street photography and photojournalism a shade beyond even art, to the level of mysticism.
