    I keep thinking about this photo… the ways we often hold the conflicting desires to be seen and not to be seen at the some time… who are we without our face — how much of our true identity “goes missing” if we don’t allow someone to see our eyes?

    Who are we really hiding from when we cover our faces like this — others who might be looking, or ourselves, or…?
