Club 128 has always caught my eye, as number 128 is my childhood address. It’s on rue St. Denis, which to anyone in Paris means sex clubs, prostitutes and whole-sale clothing stores, and soon perhaps wine bars. I don’t want rue St. Denis to change, though I did go into that wine bar. Their heat wasn’t working. Club 128 would have been warmer.
