Paris-based photographer Danielle Voirin travels the world and documents her experiences in photographs. She takes street photography and photojournalism a shade beyond even art, to the level of mysticism. I really enjoy your photos – this one reminded me of a haiku I wrote:
our shadows make us
tangible – how would you feel
if yours up and left?
thank you !

I love it!
Thank you Dani! Soul talk and Whitman, along with your photography – now, that’s a moment. So glad you are part of the treasure chest that is Planet Waves!
I agree, Dorothy — and thank you, Dani, for the reminder that I really should revisit Whitman!
A dear friend, who later became a high school English lit teacher, gave me Leaves of Grass for my high school graduation. I knew it was an important piece of writing, but I didn’t connect with it then. I picked it up only a few months ago, and it has been near me ever since. What a treasure.
