Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio monthly for October 23, 2014.

There is a sober quality to your charts this month, though it may take you a little while to catch onto that. You will the moment you get your mind out of the clouds, and away from any idealistic visions of how things might be. There are times for idealism and there are times to be fully focused on what is happening right now. If you want to unlock the potential of your moment, if you want to have it be more than a dream or a potential, I suggest you take the grounded and steady approach to your life. What is required the most of you is commitment. Not the words or the idea, but steadfast action, sustained over time. There are days when you will need to be content with less progress than you know is possible. That is why you will measure your progress in longer stretches of time than a day, a week, or even a month. When things seem difficult you must not allow yourself to lose your gumption or to choose what seem like easier options. Easier is not necessarily better, though there will be times when you’re sure that it is. In just a few weeks, Saturn will begin the process of moving from your sign to Sagittarius. Saturn has been a consistent guide and mentor to you, and in the remaining time that Saturn is in your sign, it’s necessary to internalize the Saturn principle, which translates to self-leadership.

No need to wonder what has become of your insecurities: the mighty Saturn has taken its place at the top of your solar chart. This is your moment to take command of your life, and by extension, all the affairs over which you preside. Pisces has big dreams, though few know the extent to which you are driven by the desire and indeed the need to achieve something real. However, in recent years it hasn’t been that easy to concentrate your efforts. Yes, there has been a bit too much going on, and events moving faster than you could keep up. Mainly there has been a confidence issue. Thankfully you’ve grown tired enough of it to want to get over it — and that’s most of what it takes. Part of your confidence issue has involved concerns about being accused of the profit motive. I realize that not every Pisces aspires to be Jesus or Buddha, but most people born under your sign put service first, pleasure second and profits last. Your current phase of enhanced leadership directly involves focusing the drive to make money at what you do. You don’t have to play the game of society’s cognitive dissonance on this issue. Whatever their theoretical philosophy, everyone likes to have money in their pocket. All the better if it’s earned with a clear conscience, as yours most surely is.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Leo weekly for July 11, 2016.

Anxiety is an issue these days. Anyone who doesn’t freak out every now and then probably doesn’t have a pulse. Concern extends to our families, our friends, the environment, the world and the state of the country. Your chart has a good few indicators that you might be a little more worried than usual these days. It’s as if some pressure has built up and you need to vent it. Physical activity would be a good way to do that. Your desire nature looks pretty stoked as well — you might choose to express rather than suppress. The thing to remember is that you need emotional connection. That calls for some vulnerability, which in itself might present a concern. At a certain point you must decide that you’re safe, or at least safe enough for the purposes of what you want to do. Then let off some pressure. See how you feel, and try it again.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra monthly for February 26, 2007.

Libra is the sign of beauty, but let’s face it, the creative process is kind of ugly. This may be why you so often perceive beauty as outside yourself, and needing to exist in your environment. The nervous chaos that so often leads to beautiful experiences is not something you want to identify with, but now you have no choice but to dive into those electric-eel-infested waters of uncertain depth. Anyway, forget your doubts; forget that you don’t know how to weld or solder, and that half the paints and chemicals in the workshop could eat your liver for breakfast. Forget that creating anything really new feels so, well, egotistical to one so attuned to the world of relationships as yourself. Put on your Mad Scientist hat, get busy and stay busy till something impressive and inevitable happens. If you get up one morning and say, “I have to call in sick to work to do my real stuff,” do two things: first congratulate yourself handsomely, and second, pick up the phone.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Virgo monthly for July 28, 2008.

You’re still under the influence of Mars, and that says you are experiencing what it’s like to firmly commit to forward motion, progress and expanding your horizons. Fear no longer needs to be your dominant emotion. So much has changed in your favor during the past five or six weeks; your fears seem to have evaporated and the sense of running into a wall has given way to the passionate desire to express your gifts to the world as fully as you can. Keep your momentum and make sure you stay ahead of the curve. Think of all the routine tasks you’re going to need to do this autumn, and either get them out of the way or start them early. Something entirely new is going to be born in your life at this time, and you’ll want all the freedom you can get to allow that moment of creation to happen.

You’re not the only one with resources or the willingness to work for what you believe in; make sure everyone is holding up their fair share of what needs to be contributed, whether it be money, ideas or effort. You’ve got plenty to offer, which will be all the more meaningful when everyone sees the benefit of making the kind of investment you’ve got planned. Be diplomatic, but insist that others who want the benefits participate in bringing those things to fruition. Though you’re doing most of the work at this point, others will feel better for having had their positive influences. Family Focus: Exceptionally mature kids may seem like they’re losing a grip on reality. In truth, a new reality is coming through.

About your mother. You’re finally getting around to confronting her narrow and judgmental side with some fresh ideas about your life. One of the things you learn as an astrologer is that people’s parents can dog them for as long as the planets keep spinning around the Sun — until we intervene and do so boldly. But it’s not enough to say no. That was her issue. It’s not enough to change your mind as if what came before didn’t matter. It’s not enough to reduce everything down to the details and prove that it’s irrelevant. What is necessary is to say yes with every cell in your body, to experiment with ideas that nobody you know would ever consider, and most of all, to feel yourself until you figure out that you’re alive. If the next few weeks are filled with tension, let it be that of seducing yourself into authentic liberation.

It may be on something that seems too good to be true; and to be sure, there are a couple of hidden pitfalls, there are risks and there are questions. Too good to be true — not quite. Too promising to pass up? Most certainly.
