Today’s Oracle takes us to the Leo weekly for July 8, 2011

You’re in a position to represent the views of someone close to you, or those of a group of people you care about. In essence, you’re the spokesperson. That’s a funny word because it evokes the image of bicycle spokes that come together in a hub, with that hub connecting everything to everything else. Make sure you stay in contact with people who seem to be on the periphery of the situation, as well as those close to the center. One little catch is, you may not actually feel like you know enough or are confident enough to be in this position. However, your ability to doubt yourself, such as even to ask that question, validates that you have the sense of responsibility that is necessary to support others in a way that is clear and effective. What you’re representing is the worth of something, and part of how you’re doing that is because you have a sense of your own worth. Yet you also have something that is a special gift of Leo: you understand we’re all in this together.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius weekly for April 21, 2006

Yours is a fire sign, but Jupiter, your ruling planet, is currently in Scorpio, a water sign. Today’s Oracle takes us to the Virgo monthly for March 25, 2011

Agreements and contracts are the obvious theme of your life right now, but the deeper question involves how you morph yourself to adapt to each of them. In other words, you tend to ‘become a different person’ depending on the commitment you’ve made or the expectation of the relationship. It’s as if you customize yourself for the situation. But that’s really one of the things that wears on your energy the most, and makes your relationships the most challenging. One thing I suggest you confront is your fear of upsetting the apple cart of a relationship or agreement by being who you are. This is a psychological level that’s rooted in a deeper emotional level. You can also go through your current agreements and see if they contain any commitments to others that you won’t be yourself. It may take some courage but you can inform people that it’s well and good that you made that commitment, but it contains an unsustainable compromise that you’ll need to adjust for everyone’s wellbeing. And as you make new commitments and agreements, assess them all on the basis of whether you are able to fulfill them in integrity. This is another way of saying don’t make any promises you don’t think you can keep, or that would cause you to make unhealthy adjustments in your patterns of existence. What is good for you is good for everyone — in that order.

While many around you are getting the “ready, steady, go” message, I suggest that Libra wait and see. I know, you’re finally being spurred into action. Just give yourself a few weeks to tune into the new psychic environment. On Oct. 14 there’s a solar eclipse in your sign, and that represents a threshold beyond which you cannot presently see. It’s a point of no return, and you’re not there yet. Therefore, the best advice any astrologer could give would be to wait until you can actually see who you’ve become and feel what’s available before making any major investments or decisions you can’t get out of easily. Jupiter has recently shown up in your birth sign, and that portends brilliant developments, new ideas, new places and new people, and the promise of a lot of room to grow. Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius monthly for Aug. 24, 2007

Existence as we know it is like a vast matrix of agreements. Some, we can see and acknowledge, others we seem to have no clue about. What remains a constant, and what every good therapist or spiritual teacher will strive to convey to you, is the importance of following your own values and priorities. This creates the effect of your maintaining your internal psychic air pressure when the human atmosphere is constantly pushing against you. Second, it reminds others that you come with your own agenda. What is always interesting is when they decide suddenly to go along with you. Don’t spend so much time wondering why, if the climate of your relationships shifts toward focus, or toward eliminating the nonsense from the discussion. Don’t be shocked if someone suddenly decides they are willing to take you up on your whole crazy plan. Just remember: you tend to be ahead of your time, and people need time to catch up. Or rather, they needed it. And soon, a whole new set of agreements will be possible.
