You have a lot going for you — though I suggest you carefully avoid being too full of yourself. This can come up in subtle ways, though one thing that would help is if you check in with others, find out how they’re doing and listen to what they say. By all indications your own life is on solid ground; you have the respect of the people you work with and you have respect for your own talents. I suggest, however, that you let others do all the praising, while you invest yourself in paying attention to what’s influencing the people you care about. You could easily project your own sense of success or accomplishment onto them, or worse, be seen as someone who is competitive with the people you love. In any situation where desire is a factor, make sure you carefully take everyone’s wants and needs into account. The more you do this, the more others will be willing to give you what you want — or rather, the more they’ll feel the opening to do so.

You need to work smart, not hard. First off, there is nobody you need to impress; at worst there is a job to get done, and you merely need to conduct yourself in a professional way to make that happen. If, of course, you’ve been trying to do this to no avail, then we need to turn the crystal another way and see if we can catch a different colour light. When that light dawns, the personal nature of the situation may become more obvious, or its power may become more apparent. You may suddenly slip out of denial about the intensely personal nature of the circumstances.

You have considerable support where a pending financial arrangement is concerned; you merely need to do two things: keep the dialog open and allow the movement of the cosmos to align with you. Someone seems to be driving a hard bargain. They are overstating their case and exaggerating certain facts. They are doing this in an effort to be compelling, to get your attention and to make sure you know who has the power. I suggest you hum along with this tune until the orchestra arrives. There is plenty of money to go around and at the moment you seem to be eating just fine. The question you’re grappling with is why certain people who have so much make such a point of not sharing it. It’s not worth agonizing over, and besides, someone appears on the verge of waking up to the simple truth.

You may have come to the point where you decided that making any decision was better than making no decision at all, and you will soon see how that works out for you. I can assure you that while it won’t develop quite as you planned, you set up the situation excellently for the opportunity to make another choice at an opportune moment. It’s important that you eliminate the concept “setback” or “detour” from your lexicon and instead work with the concept that each of the odd events of your recent life is leading you to the right place. This is particularly true regarding a financial decision you seem to be making, or the choice about how to manage some of your assets. To reduce the margin for error, you need to think in terms of what you have rather than what you don’t have; what you are doing right rather than what you are doing wrong; what you know rather than what you don’t know. It is true that the past few weeks have been frustrating, but they’ve had a silver lining. You learned a lot about yourself, and by some odd coincidence, you have arrived right at the point where you can put that knowledge to work.

Slowly you are crossing the little gap between awareness and denial. This may feel like a negotiation process within yourself; granting yourself permission to accept that you’re really safe, remembering what you forgot, accepting what you had rejected, and feeling what you refused to feel. This is about admitting feeling safe, and all the more safe for being aware of that safety. You no longer need to consider awareness of your security as an invitation to disaster. The truth is, at this point of your life, it works quite the other way.

We might well ask what the confrontations of 2001 have taught you, and hope that you have a good answer. While relationships were distinctly more important than other years in the recent past, it worked out that most of what you learned was about yourself. There has been, for instance, this key matter of what you believe. If you hesitate on this point, you’ll continue to be confronted by a whole lot of everything else, till you discover what it is you actually believe. We might speculate that belief does not change the world. But it sure does change what is possible within your world, because belief serves as a limiting factor on faith, and on your ability to hold out a vision for yourself. On some level, you must believe that change is possible if you want change, and maybe I’m just guessing but I’m pretty sure you do. In a big, bad way. Right?
