It’s as if you’re living two lives. They have little in common with one another. One exists in the world of your imagination. One exists in a more tangible form. Yet for a Pisces, the imagination is tangible and the external world can have all the properties of a dream. Indeed, in your consciousness, dreams often have more credulity than what most call ‘reality’. Now, this distinction is not as simple as a parallel between dreams and reality; it’s two parallel dimensions, side by side. Occasionally you get an opportunity to bring facets of one into the other. That’s what is happening now, and what will be happening over the next few weeks. Focus on and develop what seems to be in your private world, to the point where it takes on vivid reality. Then, begin to transpose it in words, or pictures, or any form that may be revealed to more than one other person.

Too often it seems that matters of self-esteem are decided before the age of two, and that nobody had a clue the damage was even being done. Be aware of a mixed signal that you may be sending, which is that you’re a devoted parent but one who may arbitrarily withdraw your approval. Keep your messages clear and remember that there is very little you actually need to disapprove of. This is a deeply sensitive time for young ones born under the sign Cancer, and what they need are positive reminders that they are not alone — reminders which you alone can give with any real credibility.

Though there’s been a major shift in energy recently allowing you to relax, you’re going to be carrying a kind of ‘push’ quality for a while because over the past year, you’ve fairly well made it part of who you are. But it’s an inner push, like something in your soul has been activated and is supporting you from the inside with a pressure directed outward. In other words, you’ve learned something new about supporting yourself from the inside. Like one of those athletic bubbles, it doesn’t actually take a lot of pressure to hold up a strong, stable structure, but it does take a higher level inside than there is in the atmosphere. You will feel the winds shift and change outside, but instead of feeling like you’re going to snap, you’ll just gently flex.

It was my Gestalt therapist who first pointed out the connection between sex and money. He probably picked it up from Freud. These Big Two, sex and money, share one major element in common, which is that both need to flow; and when one is loose and moving, the other is a lot more likely to follow suit. Astrology illustrates the picture nicely, with the different money houses in the chart also representing aspects of sexuality. And it happens that the house in your solar chart where the stars are shining brightest is about self-love, self-possession, self-value and personal wealth, a.k.a. The Mighty Second House. You may have lived through a few years of slim pickings in all of those departments; all the better to make the point that you’re currently living in very different times. Let the warm air of April remind you.

We don’t generally see descriptions of what excellent workers Pisces are in astrology books, but only you know the extent of your pride in a job genuinely well done. You have recently entered an era of your life where this particular quality is the one that moves to the top of your list of priorities. Your plans may not be moving with the speed you like and you may feel you have not accomplished nearly enough for your stage of growth. But what you are doing takes time, dedication, and most of all the ability to give all you’ve got. Use that ability judiciously and it will serve you well when you need it most.

Einstein said that imagination was more powerful than knowledge, but at the moment you have both going for you. The kind of imagination you have is the visionary kind, and the kind of knowledge you possess is the emotional kind. Accessing either requires that you relax your mind and allow the data from your subtler senses to come through. This is all about the flow of ideas, not their accumulation. Your growth process is about seeing things differently than you did yesterday, which may mean embracing that what you have once deemed impossible is truly accessible. You’re not being asked to take anything purely on faith, but at the same time, you cannot expect every question you have to be answered immediately. The kind of knowledge you are gaining access to requires a fair amount of embracing the unknown. It’s easier than you think.

Saturn in your sign is having some odd effects, if I understand your astrology. You seem to feel a need to normalize your life, to be the uber-Virgo with a solid grip on reality. Then you start to act really weird. You say things you don’t know if you mean; you change your mind unexpectedly and at odd times; you are surfing along a vast experiment in what is important to you. If there is conflict involved, it’s between the two sides of this dichotomy: stable versus flaky; tied-down versus free; absolutely sincere versus not having a clue what you’re about. Welcome to human existence! And welcome to a month of contradictions and adventure. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
