Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius weekly for Sept. 5, 2008.

If you recently made any agreements that you’re inclined to regret, I suggest you give the situation(s) some time and see what works out. There is plenty that you don’t know, and plenty of information forthcoming. While not every last bit of it would go in the “pleasant surprise” category, you can be truly thankful for some things. One is that you are figuring out what your limits are. Once you know that, you can focus your plans to exceed them. This is the basic order of operations: reach a boundary, and then in some way stretch past it. In this respect, limits are your best friends, because they provide targets or goals that you can aim for in a direct process of setting yourself free. Freedom will come, one noteworthy step at a time.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius weekly for Feb. 21, 2003.

As you are no doubt aware, one of the main challenges of being born under the sign Aquarius is emoting in a way that other people are able to contact, and making contact with the feelings of those closest to you. Both parties need to close the gap, but before that happens, they need to be mindful of its existence. It is not simply ‘your fault’ that things are a certain way, though of course the wide variety of people whose crude powers of analysis summed it up this way did not help you any. In reality you have given something up in order to gain something else, and that something else is often of quite a bit of good use to those who want you to be different. But you are in the process of claiming back that which was taken away.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius weekly for April 3, 2009.

I would propose that for most people, sexual reality is predominantly emotional or physical, rather than creative. I don’t mean using costumes or body paint, but hey, that sounds like fun. I do mean self-creative; that is, a conscious act of exploring your identity and sense of self and stretching into new places that you’ve never gone before. We think of sex as being procreative, rather than as self-generative. It is both. It would seem that in recent months you’ve gone quite a few old places, and they have been interesting, but now it’s clearly time for something different, and that means daring. Look specifically at what you would fear the most, and consider this a valid possibility. Don’t let your head get in the way: your old agenda, your prior expectations, or the judgments that were laid on you when you were younger. You are more than entitled to experiment with who you are: doing so is specifically who you are. And if you can get to this space of unfettered daring, without clinging to yourself or anyone, other people will very like be interested, and come to you.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius weekly for April 24, 2009.

Words are important. They are a crucial aspect of commitment. At the moment, that commitment involves manifesting something that does not currently exist. Speak only the words that you mean, and make sure you mean precisely what you want to say. Images are meaningful, perhaps more meaningful, but they can have an ambiguous property and thus lack precision; but they make up for it in impact. In your personal healing process, or creative process or both, I suggest you work with both, using one to support the other. One is probably going to turn out to be more influential than the other — but not without the integration of the two. There will be a product of this sacred union: an idea. There is something visionary about your sign, and at the moment both of your guiding planets — Chiron and Jupiter — are perfectly integrated with Aquarius, the sign of ideas. Not just any ideas: when these two signs get together, ideas are born that change the course of history.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra weekly for Feb. 14, 2002.

As I am writing Venus is one arc minute of longitude away from Pisces. No, wait, she just changed signs even as I write the Libra horoscope after such a very long wait (I am sure my editor is saying the same thing; this column was due yesterday). Why is Venus in Pisces good for you? Because Venus in Pisces is good for everyone and you are especially sensitive to her womanly wiles. I daresay that Venus is the most at home in this sign. She does well with the aesthetic sensitivities of Libra and the stable luxurious side of Taurus. But Libra is a touch mental for the lady or is it sentimental; and Taurus is a tad practical. Pisces I propose is all of the above plus stewed fruit and brandy. I imagine you’ll be right at home.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Virgo monthly for August 2007.

One of the great Virgo secrets is how overwhelmed you can feel at times, and how you then ride that energy and break through to new universes of your life. This month promises to turn your inner reality into Bondi Beach of the mind, where you will surf the massive cosmic waves for days and weeks on end. You have learned in recent years that fear is basically the illusion created by responding to your abundant creative potential with negativity. It’s a kind of psychic drag created by resisting your natural strength. It helps of course if you can see the positive potential of your creative power. As long as you let go of your past mental habits that is surprisingly easy, and that, in turn, is facilitated simply by noticing what they are. At a certain point, the quest to maintain self-awareness gives way to creative breakthroughs, which in the coming month or two seem poised to come as a series of developments that carry you further from any phase of your life that you remember, or for that matter that you have forgotten.

Part of living a secure life is having work you need that puts you in contact with the community in an important, meaningful and tangible way. If you don’t deny this, you’ll be much more open to opportunities that meet your criteria, and these will be the ones that support a higher level of comfort. Much of the energy you’ve been putting out to the world is going to be coming back to you, so while you have the chance, make sure that what you’re giving away is entirely positive and loving. The better you feel, the better this is working.
