You are being tested to see how wide and far your vision can reach, but you need to seek a vision not so much for yourself, but rather, of yourself. Your ruler, Mars, is now exactly aligned with the galactic core, the black hole at the center of the Milky Way. You could view the galactic core as the force that holds all known reality together. Spiritually, this is an influence that acts on you all the time, pouring in where you naturally seek the biggest and most eclectic visions of yourself. But it’s getting unusually strong emphasis now, and I think you know it. One physical effect could be a distinct sense of restlessness about where you’re currently located, wanting to search further in the world for what you need. Travel to other cultures is always good for you. Make plans, but for now, use your inner sense and see how far you’ve really come.

Most of what is about to develop is focused in the angle of your chart associated with grounding and security. The way the scenario looks, currently events are unfolding that seem to jeopardize your sense of safety, or some stability factor involving home or family. Many planets are moving and shaking and will be for another week — and then all at once, there is a sweep of planets into Scorpio and the scenario vanishes like it did not even exist. It’s true there is one matter that needs your attention, but it’s something that you can handle, once all the noise and static is out of the way, and once you realize how strong and how stable you really are.

There is much you want to say and do, but something tells me you’re experiencing more obstacles than opportunities. The frustrating part about this is that you have plenty of ideas, and there is energy moving; all the signals are telling you to make your mark. For the next week, it’s vital that you not push, not seek or make firm commitments, and in particular that you not try to fix anything that isn’t broken. Most of what you’re experiencing involves circumstances rather than systemic issues, though if you study those circumstances you will be able to identify one or two wider problems that you would be wise to work on, though only after the eclipse and the concurrent station direct of Mercury — no matter how tempting it may be to meddle now.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Sagittarius monthly for August 2013.

There is an I Ching hexagram (number 41) called Decreasing. Really, it means concentrating. I think of the energy of this hexagram as being about cutting back on what is not necessary, trimming back your energy field and focusing on what is important — with a view toward the long run. That is what your charts are about now. Tidy up any fires that are burning out of control; keep your flame concentrated and contained. Use your heat and energy consciously. While you’re at it, organize the kitchen, clean out one cupboard, scrub the teakettle and toss out anything that doesn’t belong in your refrigerator. Focus on doing what is necessary using less energy than you usually do, but using it more meaningfully. Your confidence will grow and in the process you will discover some unexpected form of success.
