Today’s Oracle takes us to the Taurus weekly for July 30, 2010.

Be careful not to let your frustrations with your work situation run out of control. You are in new territory now, where it’s incumbent upon you to develop new methods of organizing your work and, in particular, making decisions. There are times when it’s helpful to make choices from a state of frustration and there are times when it’s not. Right now, if you act impetuously, or identify too closely with what is not working, you run the risk of burning out or burning a bridge. I suggest you look at what is working, and set an agenda for yourself that is based upon the evolution of your maturity, talent and stamina. If you don’t feel like you’re doing anything right, that’s the place to pause and consider a more realistic, balanced viewpoint. And if you notice that your frustration is the result of conflicting desires, that means you need to set realistic priorities that take into account what you truly want rather than what you think you’re supposed to want.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Aquarius weekly for Nov. 8, 2007.

You need to be careful not with your appearance but with your feelings. That is, you need to lead with your emotions. Because you are indeed leading, and you are doing so in a compelling way. The thing with leadership is that you tend to get what you put out. Therefore, I suggest that no matter how passionate about an issue you feel, you remember your Aquarian nature and be mindful of how the community feels. I am not saying to subjugate your feelings to those of a group. I am just suggesting that you focus on the total picture rather than your individual goals. Work for the state of mind where everything that everyone else is doing is as important or meaningful as what you are doing, and you will suddenly find that you have much more support than you were expecting.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio weekly for Aug. 5, 2011.

You will need to keep a handle on your emotions the next few weeks. It may happen that your most passionately held beliefs come under question, or that you encounter people with whom you clash. I’m not suggesting that you stuff your feelings or not be clear about what you stand for, but it’s essential to your happiness and wellbeing that you observe yourself continuously while doing so. Do your best to identify with your adversary and to learn something from their point of view. That would be an example of ‘keeping a handle’. The opposite of that would be acting in any kind of rage; trying to convert someone to your beliefs; or going on a crusade. Be especially careful with those in positions of government or corporate authority. Walking away and saying nothing are better than the 100 other options you might have.

Events of the past few days seem to have left you off of centre stage, and it may be quite difficult for you to see the vital role you play. This is particularly true in a work-related situation where ideas count for everything. What you most likely cannot see is the extraordinary influence you’re bringing to bear on the situation. Just the fact that you have clear ideas is guiding things in precisely the correct direction, which is true no matter what you may feel about whether people actually respect you. The point is, they likely have no clue they’re being influenced by you. Don’t mention it or you’ll break the spell.

You have not just turned a corner in your life — you have turned many. Your ruling planet Saturn has been through a series of oppositions to Uranus and squares to Pluto. This has been a two-year project, and the peaks of energy and the most difficult transitions are behind you. Yet I want to caution that you may be carrying trauma in your energy field from so many changes — indeed, what may feel like too many changes. This can affect your sense of wellbeing, of what it’s possible for you to achieve, of your freedom of movement, and whether you’re trusted by the people whose lives you influence. I suggest you suspend your doubts, and work on your own mind and feelings. All of these changes, and all the work you’ve done, both on yourself and in the world, is going to pay off. The signs are likely already there. There have been times when you’ve felt not just safe but invincible, as if you were protected by a force beyond your own understanding. Who knows, that may be true, but your best moments have come at times when by being uncompromisingly yourself, you notice the world moves over and makes room for who you are. As I have said many times, you are on a mission at this time in your life, one that blends the deepest levels of personal growth and the highest calling to leadership. On with the show.

These days your life has been a torrent of passion if it’s been anything at all — not necessarily for anyone in particular mainly for existence itself. This is a moment so powerful you can create anything at all; you can create something from nothing or anything from anything else. You need just one thing which is faith in what you feel and faith in the people around you. Quite literally everything is negotiable as long as you presume and accept the reality of the goodwill of those closest to you. Face it: people want nothing more than to see you happy.

Your current zeal for honesty has a potentially violent quality. If you can, reverse your course because if you don’t, what you learn may repel your awareness rather than turn it on. And you need all the awareness you can get right now. Or to put it more effectively, you need to remove anything you discover that’s a block to your awareness. It might be a value, a person, an addiction, or an idea. You have everything you need to solve your own problem, which is fundamentally a creative problem — if only you could create this one solution, you would have it made. You can, and you will, as long as you keep moving through the obstacles that you’ve laid for yourself, granted, without meaning to.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Libra weekly for Aug. 12, 2005.

There are certain things you don’t know at this point which you feel by all rights you should know. Yet you probably know them already and are just in one of those phases where you feel you’re not ready. That’s not a big deal because you’ll be ready in a few days by which time you’ll understand that there really is no huge decision you have to make and the person you feel you could not trust is actually about the most trustworthy there is. Have I left anything out? Let’s see. Ah there’s the bit about making sure your father approves of your every move. Yet that’s such a glaringly obvious fallacy that a mushroom could see it.
