That’s another way of saying being, or rather, learning that you are your most lucrative resource. You will learn through experience. Some perplexing situation, stuck area of your life, financial difficulty or question of fundamental values in a relationship is likely to present itself (they always do) and you have the chance right now to look at yourself in a truly new way, turn the problem into an asset, and discover that there is a whole bunch more to you and in you than you might have realized. In a not-so-catchy phrase, instability is an opportunity not to withhold from yourself.

The operative cycle is two years. Consider your life that far back. What was happening in your inner realities and the world of your relationships? Changes you embarked on then are likely to be coming to some kind of crux point now, or, at least, all the loose ends from those far-off, nearby days are right where you can see them and snip them nicely. What’s available to you now is something much wider, a point of contact with the world that promises many opportunities for you to spread your wings, to speak to a larger audience and to relate your ideas in ways that are less practical and more poetic. Poetic would work well, conveying your message in much more subtle tones and colors.

You need to lay your plans carefully, working with your over-arching vision but keeping a focus on the details. There is considerable room for error and the burden of accuracy is on you, in part because you have the widest perspective and your luck is running pretty high. The situation as it now stands presents an opportunity for a reassessment of long-term plans and methods that will work out to be genuinely helpful and something not available at other times. You have to admit, what’s happening is pretty unique — so use it to the best advantage.

You are approaching a moment of truth. It could be about any aspect of your life, though it’s likely that an intimate situation is involved. Your charts tell a story about your having gone through a series of initiations over the past six months, which has put you in a place where you could hardly have expected to be. You may, as a result, have outgrown a relationship. Rather, it looks like you’ve become the thing that you’ve always sought in other people. That means that you no longer need them to provide it; this in turn will save you loads of time and energy pursuing something outside yourself. Yet at the same time, you want to relate to others, and this is suggesting that your contacts with others will benefit from a new purpose. I don’t know what that will be, but I would propose that it’s more about being a whole person than it is about being half of a relationship.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Taurus weekly for Feb. 10, 2006.

For a while there it really did seem like a question of how long you could hold your breath in a cave, but it’s nice to see you breathing again. You may be surprised at the extent to which you have room not only to breathe but also to stretch out and feel. Just remember that the problem with feelings is that they break the rules. You can’t really control them, and they may be pushing you to open up a lot more than you’ve been accustomed to the past couple of months. But think back to a time not so long ago when you discovered how good it really feels to experience yourself in a spontaneous way, and that you don’t need an excuse for doing so.

There are two conflicting energies working in your chart. One is hemming you in. The other is pushing you to be free. On one level, there’s an obvious contradiction. On another, it’s only through getting a sense of your limitations that you’re going to go beyond them. So I suggest that you use each and every message that says, ‘You can’t’ and go to work finding out a way that you actually can. In this way, the factors that seem to hold you back will be the most valuable tools in the process of moving forward. And once this process starts, there will be no stopping you.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer monthly for April 2016.

This is a take-charge moment for you. No doubt you’ve been feeling this as unusual confidence. You can feel your own presence in the world, so it’s not surprising that others feel your presence as well. The usual glass ceiling has opened up into a skylight. You are visible and people are taking notice of both how you look and what you have to say. This combination of factors is often the formula for success. I would suggest one thing, which is that if you want to be a revolutionary, you must mind your politics. Live as if every word you’re saying is being recorded. Understand who has influence and why. Know the difference between formal leadership (the boss, for example) and informal leadership (the executive assistant who can make anything happen) and work with that distinction. All in all, remember the human dimension of everything. Slow down and make contact with people, one at a time. Learn the names of everyone you work with and pay attention to how they feel. This would usually come naturally to one born under the sign of mothering, but right now your solar chart suggests you’re more like big daddy. So make sure you draw reserves from your feminine side and take the time to express genuine caring, even as you set out to achieve bold and beautiful things like never before.
