You are wise, young Glen. Either you keep your views to yourself and play the Hermit from the Tarot, or you represent the Knight of Swords, for whom the fight is all about what you believe to be the truth. Your spiritual warrior is therefore either internal or external.
I became aware in 1972 that my personal beliefs were of interest to MI6, the British intelligence agency devoted to protecting the nation. It gave me a sense of pride that my beliefs were in fact of concern and must, therefore, be of interest. My defence was simply that I had stated my ideas which was an act in accord with the concepts of free speech in a democracy.
The fact that I had the courage to speak my truth, despite its rejection by my superiors, is sufficient reward for this spiritual warrior.
