Sitting at my desk at the end of a grey day, I could feel something change. Looking out the window, I saw a line of electric orange light hit the neighbor's chimney. Climbing up through our skylight, and reaching a camera over my head, revealed the source.

Paris-based photographer Danielle Voirin travels the world and documents her experiences in photographs. She takes street photography and photojournalism a shade beyond even art, to the level of mysticism. Bridges of dissolution: 2

    To lift a burden. Walk.
    Walk to the weight of it.
    Work with it. Know it.
    It will show itself eventually;
    for the looking will weaken its shell
    and the fear will seep out.
    It will not be banished.
    As real, my fears, only as their next meal would sanction:
    feasts of past losses would grow abandonments;
    ancient separations would widen isolations.
    But appear, my fears, from the deep unfathomable,
    since there you will never banished be:
    then i see the truth of my denying hiding you,
    in full view, yes,
    appear, my fears,
    then vanish.
