We can identify many sources, but they are all in the past. That is the one thing they have in common and the one thing we need to remember: something in the past is affecting us now; something in the past is acting like, or tricking us into thinking that it’s in the present time. You are now in a moment of sorting out. The question you can ask yourself is, how much do you want to be influenced by things that happened one or five or thirty or more years ago? The more you ask that question, the more influence you will have.

Wise old astrology books remind Aquarians to fill their urn before trying to ladle out the water to everyone else. This is spiritual healing 101 — take care of yourself so that you can take care of others. There is some good logic to this, including the fact that when you’re nourished, prepared and alert, you will be more helpful and less at risk of hurting anyone in the process of assisting or serving them. That is the message of your charts now. Get yourself oriented in your physical space, which seems to have undergone some changes lately. Make sure that you have whatever provisions you need. Get your work organized to the level where at least you know what you need to do and approximately when you need to do it. This will create some boundaries to work within. Over the next few days, make sure you take plenty of time to yourself. Set aside obligations to others. Get rest and drink water.

Chiron and Neptune are drawing to their closest conjunction till 2094. It’s not a perfect alignment — that was earlier in the year — but it’s close enough to help you resolve many layers of self-doubt. If you’ve been living in a fog for, oh, the past 10 years or so, this is the moment you can see the light, or see it a bit more clearly than you have so far. It’s getting easier, this I’m sure you noticed. If we use crossing the ocean as a metaphor, it’s no longer day after day of wide-open sea that barely changes. You’re now hugging the coast, exploring new territory and, it seems, looking for a harbor where you can get off and step onto dry land. Here are a couple of thoughts to consider: you don’t have to stay anywhere you arrive. For as long as you want, you can visit places and see what the culture is like. You also need to be reminded every day to have fun — to allow the child aspect of yourself to come out and play. I’m reminding you today; you can remind yourself tomorrow.

It’s time to reconcile who you are with who you present yourself as being. As the digital era has developed so rapidly during the past 10 years, evermore people are acting as their own publicists. To some extent this is true for all of us. You have reached a moment of reconciliation, where your image and your reality need to be perfectly in sync, or at least honestly reflective of one another. This is about more than having an accurate Facebook page or Match.com profile. It’s about a level of integrity wherein you actually are who you are. Recent events may have demonstrated certain inconsistencies between image and substance, and the problems they can create. You may not feel comfortable fully exposing yourself. But if that is true, the question is, why do you want people to know some things about you but not others? What goes on what list?

You are right to be questioning commitments that you have made to others, but notice that they are finally questioning the commitments they have to you — and the chances are, discovering they have at least a debt of gratitude to you. It may go further than that, and this would be a good time to collect old bills and reckon emotional accounts. Remember, you have the prerogative to forgive old debts, though I suggest you do so consciously and verbally. There’s a gift in this for everyone; debts take up energy. If, in particular, you are feeling sexually blocked, try unblocking your money. Rearranging your commitments, negotiate with people you owe money to, or let go of the ones who owe you something. Do a thorough review of any relationship where sex and money are both a factor involved in the commitment structure. Turn over rocks on unspoken promises, ungrounded expectations or situations where something is linked with something else when it has no business being so.
