Keep taking tangible steps to improve your finances, and at the same time, remember your resources come in many forms other than money. Now would be a fantastic time to take an accounting. You will benefit from knowing how much you’ve got, and how valuable it is. In doing so you will stoke the sensation of abundance, and that will, in turn, lead to more abundance. As for opportunities of what to do with that wealth, or who to do business with, give that time to develop. Learn to be with the potential of who you are, without having to discharge it in any particular direction. This is the time to fully own and appreciate your resources. In a sense, I suggest you identify with them, in that you observe the extent to which what seems to be yours is actually a reflection of you.

Financial issues come into focus now: you’ve reached that critical point where you know the only solution is going to come from applying some serious focus to the question. Think like a scientist, which means methodically. Don’t worry about solving all your problems at once — you’re approaching the time when you finally develop the long-anticipated permanent solution. Consider the following four to five weeks as an experiment in discovering something vital: what is and is not important to you, in this latest incarnation of your life. You thought you knew, but I don’t suggest you assume anything; your priorities have changed, owing to the full-strength maturing process you’ve endured the past couple of years. Some days this has been as much fun as having your leg in a cast, but it’s about to come off.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Gemini weekly for November 15, 2013.

Mercury has finally let itself loose and is now moving in direct motion in Scorpio. This may come with the slow unraveling of certain problems, hang-ups and emotional stiffness. However, even as these circumstances work themselves out, you need to pay attention to what is bubbling up from the deeper levels of your being. I know you would rather take the opportunity to feel better and move on, though I suggest that instead you feel better and go deeper. Work with the idea that every effect has a cause — and you’ve just experienced some unusually powerful effects. That suggests that there are some equally powerful causes working themselves through you and out to the surface. Rather than being a passive player, go toward the source of the energy and discover what is there. You’re likely to be surprised — it’s not what you were thinking.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer weekly for February 8, 2013.

There are those days when we seem to live in a world of the self-centered and superficial. It’s frustrating if you’re one of those people who practices self-awareness, because a little goes a long way, though it comes at a cost. And what cost would that be? Well, self-awareness is the antidote for hypocrisy, and not being a hypocrite puts one at a voluntary disadvantage. Anyway, for the moment, you will be encountering some people who cannot see past their own self-interest, and it will help immensely if you recognize them for who they are. You should have the information you need to sort this out fairly quickly after you meet someone. You then will have the option to forget what you discovered, or put the information to work. If someone is not interested in anyone or anything besides themselves, as evidenced primarily by their actions, then you cannot logically expect them to be of any help to you. This is not an accident; it’s a way of life, and I’m here to tell you that you have a different agenda.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Cancer monthly for January 1, 1999.

Assorted versions of political and spiritual wisdom usually teach that it’s better to care, and important not to be a hypocrite. I bid you consider the proposition that for you, a vital lesson on the road to holiness is notgiving a shit, and learning how to pull double standards, or engage in what I would call soulful hypocrisy. Caring too much is unhealthy, and is often a form of deep distrust in the universe. It can be a futile exercise in control, and the result of other people either dumping responsibility onto you, or their playing helpless when they know you’ve got a social conscience and will take on any spare burdens that are lying around. As for soulful hypocrisy: that would sound like you saying, “That’s your job/problem/issue, not mine,” or “I don’t really care about this, but it looks pretty important to you, so you better do something about it.” Then there’s the small matter of you green-blooded vegetarians who would love to eat a big prime rib: make it a juicy one. Or you nonsmokers who would love a tasty Dominican cigar every now and again. They go well with scotch. And as for all you pure-bred monogamists who are craving a sweet romp with your best friend? Be glad you’re alive, and act accordingly.

Today’s Oracle takes us to the Scorpio monthly for December 12, 2005.

oracle

Months of inner searching, patience and indecision have left you with the urge to sort yourself out once and for all — but I suggest you give yourself well into the middle of the month to do so. Though you’re feeling a lot better than just a few weeks ago, if you push a certain rather tense situation with an individual close to you, you’re taking a greater risk than you realize — and an unnecessary one. You’ve so far avoided many temptations, or been saved by luck when you failed to do so. Now, make your own luck and wait for the right moment to initiate the change you so dearly need.

When you were a child, simple and unstructured playtime did more for you than you could have possibly known at the time. That’s especially true regarding play with others of your own age. Now it may be time for a refresher course more consciously taken. It’s not so much that all your hard work lately could use a little complementary balance (although that’s part of the picture). It’s just that new connections to a wider community of similarly inclined people will more likely be established outside of your usual environs of service and work, rather than within them. — by Len Wallick.
